well that's good. I'm glad that Matheus from Brazil didn't get chucked off the client and blinded off before he shipped the tourney.

I have logged in a few times now, scouted accross the lobby and logged out because there was 'nothing to play!'
Tournaments with 30k starting stack and 8-10 minute lvl play very fast, especially with 2-3 tables left. For instance, $7.5 5k gtd PKO at 6pm uk is very close to turbo speed, will take 5 hours or slightly longer to complete.

I suspect players : Kencho101 and Phantom500 are colluding at the plo tables.

They both are from Nigeria , min raise each other when someone is in the middle when one of them have a monster and softplay each other.

Hello 888,

This is a post to ask why my account tnb10 is suspended after I tried to withdraw my winnings??

Is it normal that 888 can refuse player his honest winnings without any explanation and on top of that you suspend the account and again provide no explanation?

For people who read this post, I basically deposited 10 pounds and won about 760usd in a tournament. To be fair I haven't played on 888 for some time due to travel and other things, but my account was open years ago and I used to play a fair amount of time before. To cut story short, I asked for the withdrawal, they said they found some "discrepancies due to logins" on my account and I needed to go through verification. Weird stuff, nevertheless I sent my ID and bank statement. They don't keep any dialogue with me , they just suspend my account. So here I am trying to get some justice and understand for the sake of everyone else who casually plays on 888, how fair is it to just withhold our winnings , suspend account and not provide any clarification what can one do in such situations?

Besides, while your "verification " was under way, whenever I logged into my cashier, I was always greeted by a "in you face" prompt to reverse my withdrawal. Like is it not hypocritical and totally out of the line to encourage me to reverse withdrawal and gamble off my money without any need of any verification???

Please kindly respond to this post as soon as you can, I do hope to use my winnings for this festive period.

I thought so as well the other night. Saw this exact scenario. A few hands later though, one of them stacked the other. Maybe they don't care if they split the end result and the loser rebuys. They definitely often play together.

To make it more suspicious , both nicknames have the same structure : capital letter at the beginning and 3 numbers at the end

Is there anyway to change the default descriptions for the playertags on 888.com ? When I change it, it only appears to change it for each player, which is quite annoying. I would like to customize the descriptions, is there a file somewhere I can edit that will change this?

Thanks

Well, first you go to the Pacificic mod thread and find a link for a file called cxmconverter.exe

Then with that file, you go to this folder on your computer (if you re on Win 7 or 10):

C:\Users\{your unsername}\AppData\Roaming\pacificpoker\Lang\0\Loc alization

You look for PlayerNoteDlgText.cxm and PlayerNoteView.cxm.

You use the cxm converter folder tool to convert them to hml files. You then edit the default note names to the ones you like. You then, reconvert the xml file to a cxm file and you re done.

Welcome to 888poker’s Weekly Deal, with all the best news, results and insights from the past week.

THIS WEEK: December 23, 2018

Lithuania’s “Sinatra48” Claims Sunday Mega Deep BONANZA Title

The $215 buy-in Sunday Mega Deep BONANZA featured a $125,000 prize pool after 338 players took to the virtual felt and rebought 162 times. Among the 48 players to get paid were Fabricio “DrMiKee” Gonzalez (30th - $850), 888poker Ambassador Martin “MJacobson888” Jacobson (12th - $2,187.50), “Nordynordbrg” (7th - $3,437.50), and Cristian “progree69” Sampaoli (3rd - $13,437.50).

It took nearly 12 hours but eventually Lithuania’s “Sinatra48” beat out “Magicooo22” to win the title and accompanying $24,062.50 first-place prize.

Canada’s “kingstars” Binks Mini Mega Deep BONANZA

The special $22 buy-in, $25K GTD Mini Mega Deep BONANZA drew 1,124 players who rebought 474 times. That created a $31,960 prize pool paid out to the top 144 players including “The0rigin” (38th - $102.27), “artemio14” (18th - $175.78), Bryan “DePittsterje” Paris (9th - $367.54), “Allver888” (5th - $1,598), and “wildrado” (3rd - $3,036.20).

After 8 hours and 38 minutes, Canada’s “kingstars” beat Belarus’ “dekvinKK” in heads-up play to win a $5,587.04 top prize.

Germany’s “tier999111” Wins Turbo Mega Deep in Just Over Three Hours

With 74 players who rebought 18 times, the $215 buy-in Turbo Mega Deep offered up a $20,000 prize pool ($10,800 into the regular prize pool, $9,200 into the bounty). Some players to earn bounties but fall short of making the money were Sam “sammygrinder” Grafton (25th - $100), Arseniy “josef_shvejk” Karamatski (20th - $225), and Kenny “SpaceyFCB” Hallaert (15th - $50).

Among those to cash were Mike “Pipedream17” Dietrich (9th for $297 + $50 in bounties), “Yattag0” (5th for $756 + $300 in bounties), and “RakDoll” (3rd for $1,512 + $375 in bounties). After just 3 hours and 10 minutes, Germany’s “tier999111” beat “Irreligious8” to win the title, a $2,943 prize, and a $33,7.50 progressive bounty.

“xcrash154” Claims Sunday Deepstack Monsoon Title

The $55 buy-in Sunday Deepstack Monsoon surpassed its $10,000 guarantee by drawing 169 runners who rebought 58 times. That saw an $11,350 prize pool up for grabs and the top 27 players got a piece of it including “Zarzoor912” (19th - $113.50), “PiktasVilkas” (10th - $198.62), Bryan “DePittsterje” Paris (5th - $681), and “leonidus1307” (4th - $993.12).

After “Corazzzon” bowed out in third place for $1,333.62, the title came down to “Flopchopper” and Mexico’s “xcrash154.” It was just under nine hours in the tournament before things ended with the latter on top for $2,440.29.

$10K GD Monsoon Ends in Head-Up Deal

The $55 buy-in, $10K GTD Monsoon saw 197 players rebuy 49 times to create a $12,300 prize pool that was paid out to the final 27 players including Ole “ole_schemion” Schemion (22nd - $123), “emerson1010” (15th - $184.50), “Placebo36” (7th - $492), and “premier6996” (3rd - $1,445.25).

After 5 hours and 54 minutes, the tournament came to an end with a heads-up deal between “Bofral” and “CunningGrccn.” The former finished second for $2,124.55 and the latter deemed the winner for $2,426.45.

You might recall that back at the end of September, “CunningGrccn” took down the $4,000 Thunder 6-Max for $1,500.
