Dear Rep

Thanks for your reply.

I wonder why is equilab not allowed but flopzilla and pokerstove are allowed when the 3 of them are of similar nature.

I am looking at the user agreement:
"you may not use any tools or software other than: (i) tools that provide you with basic game statistics and information that could be useful to beginners, such as hand strength and pot odds indication"

I think equilab does not violate this sentence?

Thank you.

My account was unfairly blocked some time ago and I could not get it back.

So be careful with this room, where your account can be unfairly locked and lose your money.

To me they said that I used artificial intelligence, when the only software I used was the Holdem Manager.

I have been playing on 888 for about 3 years or so and I have gradually watched their VIP program get decimated and morph into something worse than even the chests Stars offers.. pretty hard to do but they seem to have managed.

There was a time when the so called "MVP" players got an email every other month, which always had a reload bonus code for $500 = 20% additional rakeback. I took advantage of this on every occasion. However, those emails stopped coming over a year ago, but I started emailing support every other month to ask if they would give me a reload code, which they happily did. So the VIP system disappeared but I still managed to get about 20-25% rakeback playing on the site.

Now given that the cash game rake at 888 is capped at $5/hand which must be the highest in the industry only second to the GG Network (at least you can get high rakeback there with a good affiliate deal) and a VIP system that is pretty much worth 5% or less, I felt that using a bonus to boost my rakeback to 20% was the only way it made sense to really play on 888.

This week I have only requested my second withdrawal ever from the site and immediately got an email from "The Operations Team" suspending any current and future bonuses on my account. I can only assume that this is because my account got reviewed and I am a winning player and they feel no need to reward a player like me with any sort of rakeback or other incentives. Here is a quote from their email:

"This activity is inconsistent with our philosophy of rewarding members for their loyalty and patronage, and so we have removed these bonus privileges from your account and any related accounts."

I find it really offensive that you wouldn't consider me a loyal player given that I play on your site on more than 200 days of the year and raked in over $15k in 2017. So if you don't want to reward me, that is fine it is your business policy but do not reference "loyalty and patronage".

I am not writing this to ask for any bonuses, I am just writing this to highlight how 888's greed and bull**** is just no different to a site like Stars.

Hello. I recently made a withdrawal on 888 poker and for some reason 888 split that initial withdrawal in two, and made them on two seperate cards when I clearly indicated the withdrawal to be made on one card. I have the email proving I requested only one withdrawal. Why would they do that? As one of the cards is currently not in use. 888 messed up and now I can't use a portion of the money I've won, doesn't seem fair to me. Looking forward to your reply. My username on 888 is tonkaaaap in case you need it.
Thanks

I think I seen it in the Ts and Cs that one cannot withdraw during some promos or bonuses so it looks likely it could be due to that.

Seems like 888 up to the old tricks that got them fined ovfer £7m recently. 888 have been repeatedly informed of these players but ignore the complaints so all in all guys this is one shady site and the only ones that will pay for their mistakes is you because if they are fined again you will pay it.

I noticed lot of players have no country listing as well. Does that mean these players are actually not allowed to play on 888poker due to their country? If so, but why could they play then? Confused here.

Probably the most profitable players for them (casino degens) so they think it's worth the risk.

Hi,

I have a bug to report in your software. Like many people, I multitable. Like many people, I use hotkeys which allow me to click the various action buttons and to navigate across tables. So, instead of clicking at the tables, I press a hotkey to go back and forth between them, while having another button to take me to a table requiring action.

This is a common setup and I think many people use it. The problem I am facing is this. 888 seems to steal focus off the tables and the hotkeys navigating me across the tables stop working. Since this is happens at random, it often takes me a few seconds to realize it; then in order to make the hotkeys work, I need to click on a table.

This may sound trivial, but when you re playing 20 tables, it's an issue. I am not sure what the cause is. One possible I can think of are the constant notifications for the jackpot hit, a fact if I may add which is totally indifferent to those of us playing tournaments.

Please pass this report to your software team so that they can have a look at it.

Thank you

Welcome to 888poker’s Weekly Deal, with all the best news, results and insights from the past week.

THIS WEEK: August 19, 2018

Arseniy “josef_shvejk” Karmatskiy Wins Whale for $26K

The $1,050 buy-in Whale offered up an $80,000 prize pool and 57 players competed for it while rebuying 19 times in the process. Among those to battle but fall short of the money 888poker Ambassadors Chris “888Moorman” Moorman and Dominik “888Dominik” Nitsche, as well as “JohnFoot,” “DosPoochies,” and “Madeon1994.”

Just 1 week after Chris Moorman, who was the last man standing in 888poker’s 8team competition during the WSOP Main Event, the 2nd player standing, Arseniy “josef_shvejk” Karmatskiy took it down.

Only the top eight players got paid and included Jans “Graftekkel” Arends (8th - $3,200), “MisterN411” (5th - $6,000), and “asiarat” (3rd - $12,000). After 6 hours and 47 minutes, Russia’s Arseniy “josef_shvejk” Karmatskiy defeated Finland’s “jnevanli” to win a $26,000 top prize.

While “jnevanli” had to settle for second place and a $16,800 consolation prize, he found redemption in another tournament later in the day, one you can read about below.

Finnish Pros Battle It Out for Sunday Challenge Title

The $109 buy-in Sunday Challenge saw 282 players take to the virtual felt and rebuy 98 times. That meant the $40,000 prize pool was distributed to the top 36 players including “NukeTheMoon” (25th - $340), “ZDamian” (20th - $340), “Tedson89” (15th - $540), “bossamtisch1” (9th - $760), “EduardoGarla” (5th - $2,320), and “manipuliator” (3rd - $5,393).

After 8 hours and 33 minutes, Finland’s “jnevanli” defeated fellow countryman “goeon” on heads-up play to win a $2,320 first-place prize.

Germany’s “DollphIIN” Proves Greatness in Sunday GREAT 8

The $88 buy-in Sunday GREAT 8 drew 222 players who rebought 96 times, which helped surpass the $20K GTD by creating a $25,440 prize pool. That was paid out to the top 32 players including “Showdown13” (22nd - $254), “guydeet39” (14th - $382), “futomaki123” (9th - $509), “n0sferatv” (6th - $1,145), and “sweet_dr34ms” (3rd - $2,926).

After 8 hours and 14 minutes, Germany’s “DollphIIN” dispatched Malta’s “xane7a” to win the title for $5,152.

“radasahk” Claims Mega Deal Title After Heads-Up Chop

The $215 buy-in Sunday Mega Deep attracted 330 players who rebought 163 times. That meant the top 48 players would get a piece of a $100,000 prize pool and they included “wisimaki” (19th - $970), “penfolds6” (12th - $1,750), “IHaveNoBoss” (6th - $3,750), and “SanttuO” (4th - $7,750).

After “Pik00rs” hit the rail in third place for $10,750, the final two players agreed to a chop after 10 hours and 46 minutes. The UK’s “radasahk” was deemed the winner for $17,413 while his fellow countryman “youler” took second for $16,087.

Pair of Canadians Chop Sunday Monsoon

The $55 buy-in, $15K GTD Sunday Monsoon drew 250 players who rebought 97 times to create a $17,350 prize pool. Among the top 36 to get paid were “flipthechip” (17th - $191), “ZDamian” (10th - $278), “BanjZill” (6th - $781), “n0sferatv” (5th - $1,006), and “KelevraJesus” (3rd - $1,961).

After 7 hours and 53 minutes, two Canadians agreed to a deal in which “gray369” was awarded the title and $3,380 in prize money and “SpiderMonk03” took second for $2,770.

What to watch out for:

Right now, players have the opportunity to become millionaires simply by playing BLAST Sit & Go’s, which are turbo Texas hold’em sit and goes played four-handed.

For a limited time only, those who play a $1 BLAST event will have a chance at $1,000,000, while those who participate in the $5 BLAST could win $2,000,000.

“Not many people get a chance to win that kind of money in poker, much less for $1 or $5,” said 888poker Ambassador Chris Moorman, who plans to BLAST away for the very first time during the promotion. “This is a fun, low cost opportunity to try your luck that anyone can enjoy regardless of skill level.”
