About 99.99% sure not allowed; in some way, they might be useful while playing. To me, the only use of it while playing would be for looking how much ahead or behind I was and that can be seen with the trackers that are allowed.

Hi Rep,

While uninstalling, i backed up a copy of "Notes.xml" to my desktop. After i reinstall a new client, do i move and replace this "Notes.xml" back into the installed folder of "my documents->888poker->username->" ?

Thank you.

Welcome to 888poker’s Weekly Deal, with all the best news, results and insights from the past week.

THIS WEEK: August 12, 2018

888poker Ambassador Chris Moorman Wins Whale for $26,000

Chris Moorman is online poker’s most accomplished tournament player and on Sunday he added another title to his laundry list resumé – the $80,000 Sunday Whale!

The $1,050 buy-in tournament drew 62 players who rebought 17 times. Among them were Fabricio “DrMiKee” Gonzalez, Ole “olekonjole” Schemion, and 888poker Ambassador Dominik “888Dominik” Nitsche, though none of them managed to cash.

In fact, just the top eight players got paid including Mike “Pipedream17” Dietrich (8th - $3,200), “MisterN411” (7th - $3,600), Niklas “tutten7” Åstedt (4th - $8,000), and “Madeon1994” (3rd - $12,000).

After 6 hours and 17 minutes, Moorman dispatched Argentina’s Rodrigo “sonmonedass” Perez to claim the title. It was the second time in just over a month Perez finished runner-up in a big tournament having took second in the June 28th $15,000 Mega Deep for $3,232. Fortunately for him, he had won the $15,000 Turbo Mega Deep four days before that for $5,590.

Two 888poker Ambassadors Go Deep in GREAT 8

The $88 buy-in Sunday GREAT 8 easily surpassed its $20K GTD by drawing 247 players who rebought 92 times. That created a $27,120 prize pool paid out to the top 32 players including “Pserinho” (29h - $203), 888poker Ambassadors Sofia “sofialovgren” Lövgren (17th - $271) and Chris “888Moorman” Moorman (16th - $407), “tenshj” (7th - $949), and “snapcallalot” (4th - $2,305).

After Germany’s “_RipCheese_” took his leave in third place, the title came down to Denmark’s “Theindian85” and the Netherland’s “MisterN411.” After 7 hours and 33 minutes in the tournament, the latter prevailed to capture a $5,492 first-place prize.

You might recall that back May, “MisterN411” bested a field of 131 players to win the $2,600 buy-in XL Inferno Event #16: $200,000 High Roller for $90,063.

Moorman Makes Another Final Table, “VitaliyPanko” Wins Sunday Challenge

The $109 buy-in, $40,000 GTD Sunday Challenge attracted 333 players to the virtual felt and they accounted for 111 rebuys. That created a $44,400 prize pool that was distributed to the top 45 players including “NukeTheMoon” (34th - $289), “PulledPorker” (19th - $333), “ZeroNineee” (12th - $666), and Chris “888Moorman” Moorman (5th - $2,531).

After “kaiser066” and Andreas “KURDEdersim” Samuelsson bowed out in fourth and third place respectively, the title came down to Canada’s Zack “DuduPa1986” Korik and Russia’s “VitaliyPanko.” After nearly nine hours in the event, the Russian pulled out the win to pad his bankroll by $8,591.

“HomoDeus” Finds Mega Deep Redemption

The $215 buy-in Sunday Mega Deep surpassed its $100K GTD by drawing 358 players who rebought 186 times. That resulted in a $108,800 prize pool and among the 48 players to get a piece of it were “cuadrado12” (36th - $620), Joao Mathias “joao_mathias” Baumgarten (25th - $740), “LevelingMode” (12th - $1,904), and “dkfdyulr” (3rd - $8,432).

After 11 hours and 11 minutes, the tournament ended in heads-up chop. Russia’s “EyeofSkadi” earned $18,085 for finishing runner-up while Germany’s “HomoDeus” took the title and $18,363 in prize money.

Back in May, “HomoDeus” finished runner-up in the XL Inferno Event #9: $120,000 Mega Deep for $19,768.

“Grozzorg” Scores Second Win in Two Days

The $55 buy-in, $15,000 GTD Sunday Monsoon drew 284 players who rebought 95 times. That generated an $18,950 prize pool paid out to the top 36 spots including “Dallmad” (26th - $161), “TheColdCallr” (14th - $256), “pokernep” (7th - $663), and “vitola99” (5th- $1,099).

After 7 hours and 40 minutes, Germany’s “Grozzorg” defeated Canada’s “mixer_jr” to win the title and $3,875 top prize. The win came just two days after “Grozzorg” took down the $10,000 Tornado for a smooth $3,000 and finished sixth in the $15,000 Mega Deep for $840.

What to watch out for:

Right now, players have the opportunity to become millionaires simply by playing BLAST Sit & Go’s, which are turbo Texas hold’em sit and goes played four-handed.

For a limited time only, those who play a $1 BLAST event will have a chance at $1,000,000, while those who participate in the $5 BLAST could win $2,000,000.

“Not many people get a chance to win that kind of money in poker, much less for $1 or $5,” said 888poker Ambassador Chris Moorman, who plans to BLAST away for the very first time during the promotion. “This is a fun, low cost opportunity to try your luck that anyone can enjoy regardless of skill level.”

+1

Weirdly it's before you even enter any login details. Just loading the client triggers the message.

Tried again and got a message that my version of software is not supported any more and download from website. I had downloaded a beta from here last year I think to sort wonky looking tables on high res screens so maybe to do with that.

Web download let me log in.

I was in the middle of a session and it kicked me off all the tables. Then it said my account has been temporarily disabled. I started panicking remembering all the horror stories of them banning innocent accounts and accusing them of using artificial intelligence. Luckily I reinstalled the software and can log in now.

Had the same disabled message. I got a response from support today requesting I reinstall and should be fine.

Glad to hear that worked for someone, haven't had a chance to test it yet.

Do most players like tournaments on 888? My main issues with tournaments here are

Takes way too long to be ITM and finish. You have big fish tournaments that take a long time to be ITM. The same tourney on stars with that amount of players would be ITM much faster. But not only this, i notice that as long as it takes to be ITM, when its not before the money, the average stack size is not even that big. Its like 30bb or less. So why do these tournaments take this long to be ITM when average stack is like same as on say stars?

Hello,

I attempted to log into 888poker from my location in Thailand yesterday and received a message "Unable to connect. Please try again or contact member support"

I contacted 888 support via my phone. They recommended that I uninstall the client and try again. I completely uninstalled the client using REVO uninstaller and then logged onto www.888poker.com to download a new installer file.

While there I noticed "As a player in the USA you must click here" at the bottom of the page. Clicking the download link gave and still gives me an 888pokernj.exe installer file.

I'm located in Thailand and I had just gotten a new Internet service provider known as AIS fiber. It was installed a few days earlier. I decided to shut down that router and turned back on my old ISP "True Fiber". I then went back to www.888poker.com and tried to download the installer file. It gave me the correct version.

I downloaded 888poker and loaded it up and logged in successfully without a problem.

After this I contacted support again informing them of my issue. I sent them a video I'm me doing a tracert to their webpage on my new ISP and also showed them the log in error Unable to connect as well as the "As a player in the USA" error on their webpage.

Their response to my message was to basically do everything over again. It's frustrating. The issue seems to be clearly with my new ISP and their website/client.

What could possible be causing this problem? When I search my IP online it shows my location in Thailand. I've been having no issues on other networks.

I'm not sure they were cleared in all browsers but I did do a clean uninstall. As mentioned above I was able to get the correct installer by using my other ISP.

I'm also able to log into 888 just fine on the old internet connection as well as my 4g connection which makes me believe it has something to do with my current connection and 888poker.

I did a tracert to 91.109.248.72 which is the corresponding IP address to www.888poker.com and with my current internet connection it goes through about 10 routes and then times out for the last 20. I sent support a video with all of this displayed in the google drive link in the video.

Supports reply to that video is frustrating as they basically just told me to try uninstalling again and to make sure I'm logging into the correct .com site etc.

Just to clarify. If I switch to my old Internet or 4g connection I'm able to log into 888poker just fine atm. I want find out why it's not working with my new ISP.

Thanks.

Maybe something to do with your new settings. It's a tricky one because as you say everything is ok on your old settings and it seems the problem is with your new settings.
Have you asked your new ISP if they can advise?

I tried to log in to my 888 poker account for first time in months and as the screen with details popped up the entire thing shut down and kept doing it so had to download again from the website which solved the problem.

Upon logging in I got another surprise, the traffic has plummeted. Was everyone on 888 banned for cheating?

Im not gonna waste my time depositing as nothing has improved and the stability of the software has gone downhill. 888s a lame duck at this stage. Lack of ideas, overcharging, failure to listen to its clients and failure to punish cheaters in good time are the main causes.

Anyway Gl in future 888, ye have a lot of work to do to turn this around.
