+1 for the terrible software. I have experienced several of the problems reported in these threads.

Player notes have disappeared on me at least twice. A few years back I received some instructions on how to restore which worked. The last time was just a message saying sorry, technical issue, nothing can be done.

Had the waitlist issue (over the past 6 months at least) as described by numerous other players.

I have also been sat out during MTTs. I might have missed a play and been timed out but then clicked “I’m back”. When the action comes to me I have been insta mucked even though I am supposed to be live. I then go back to “sitting out”. Doesn’t help either if I click an advanced action such as call before the play gets to me.

Had a lot of disconnections that weren’t my internet about a month ago too.

Very glitchy software and I cannot understand why you can’t fix such longstanding issues. I had hoped that you would have solved some of the issues after the last upgrade but no. Interesting that Stars has a new version about every week or 2 (in my rough estimation, though I don’t actually on it any more) but you guys only update every 3-4 months (another rough estimation)

Son, it is not even about that - it is more that if such a major annoying and uber embarrassing bug like the last one (client crashes constantly) would happen on stars, they would fix it likely at the same day.
Also all the bugs are reg-unfriendly and rec players do not care...its insane by now and makes and trigger "paranoid" thoughts - unreal!

Thanks!
Sir, what do you want to tell me here?
Would you please have the courtesy to not shrug this, in my view, very significant matter just away in an one-liner?
From my understanding, you have told in this thread >2 weeks ago that this bug will be fixed within 2 weeks - > >2 weeks over and you would shrug a follow up request/demand just away, like a boss?

I would like to exactly know when this bug will be fixed and also it would be from interest to me and many others, why this is not already done?
it is just beyond what I can comprehend.

So me, as certainly others would appreciate more detailed information on this one.

Regards,
zrebna

I think 888 developers and their stuff are literally autistic which can first explain normal lack of empathy for people who are using their software and second, its crazy how every time they "invent" some new bug, how their "fixes" are visibly against regular players (for example that fiasco with full card view is first on my mind, when you couldnt see your cards) etc etc the list is long.

They deserve a circle in hell right next to skype developers and stuff

Its just how they treat bugs in different rooms,888 dont consider bugs as an issue,at all.So there is no need to rush to fix it,or fix it at all.

If u look at the way they dealt with bugs in the past, ull see that im right. This software has been bugged ALWAYS(literally)

And Stars cant afford to treat bugs same way, cause they are top1

I haven't had problems with this software for years (one time there were disconnects but I wasn't playing at that moment) but after they today auto-asked to download the software again (a manual upgrade/date) and I installed it on the top of my previous one and it failed to (down)load some Microsoft visual, I can expect to join the club any time now. But so far works fine.

Welcome to 888poker’s Weekly Deal, with all the best news, results and insights from the past week.

THIS WEEK: July 29, 2018

Parker “888tonkaaaa” Talbot Final Tables Sunday Mega Deep

The $125 buy-in, $100K GTD Sunday Mega Deep crept past its guarantee by drawing 328 players who rebought 175 times. That generated a $100,600 prize pool paid out to the top 48 players including “Garlic888” (44th - $483), “1LevelAbove” (32nd - $684), “GramNaKartke” (17th - $976), Bryan “DePittsterje” Paris (10th - $1,761)), and 888poker Ambassador Parker “888tonkaaaa” Talbot (7th - $2,767).

After “ezmoniesss” took his leave in third place for $10,814, a back-and-forth heads-up match ensured. After a minute shy of 12 hours in the tournament, Germany’s “HomoDeus” defeated Ukraine’s “chssk” to win a $19,365 top prize.

It marked the second time “HomoDeus” has won a Mega Deep title this year. Back on January 26, he bested a field of 147 runners to win the $109 buy-in $20,000 Mega Deep for $5,117.

“ZeroNineee” Takes Down the Whale

The $1,050 buy-in, $70K GTD Whale saw 58 players rebuy 24 times to create n $82,000 prize pool. Among those to compete in the tournament but fall short of the money were Stephen “Kale333” Van Zadelhoff, Jans “Graftekkel” Arends, and Kenny “SpaceyFCB” Hallaert.

The top eight spots got paid including Mega Deep runner-up “chssk” (8th - $3,280), Ole “olekonjole” Schemion (7th - $3,690), “AriGold17” (5th - $6,150), “Hanzokid” (4th - $8,200), and “wellyxx” (3rd - $12,300). At that point, which was just over six hours in the tournament, a heads-up deal was struck that saw Sweden’s “cuadrado12” finish second for $20,446 and “ZeroNineee” take the title and $23,424.

“Irreligious8” Comes Out on Top in Sunday GREAT 8

The $88 Sunday GREAT 8 blew by its $20K GTD by drawing 218 players who rebought 95 times. The $25,040 prize pool was paid out to the top 32 players including Bryan “DPitsterje” Paris (31st - $188), “ZeroNineee” (25th - $188), “firgli” (12th - $501), “fishandchips1” (7th - $876), and “khunbaa” (3rd - $2,880).

After 7 hours and 38 minutes, it was “Irreligious8” who bested Germany’s “TonyCipolla9” in heads-up play to win $5,071. It was the first win for “Irreligious8” since January 28, which is when he won the $5,000 Swordfish for $1,186.

Canada’s “summertime3” Wins Sunday Challenge

The $109 buy-in Sunday Challenge saw 266 players take to the virtual felt and rebuy 100 times. The $40,000 prize pool was paid out to the top 40 players including “alexos888” (35th - $232), “BehindSpace” (21st - $400), “Koolmania” (10th - $800), “DuduPa1986” (5th - $2,200), and “TripleAceIRL” (3rd - $4,400).

After 8 hours and 51 minutes, Canada’s “summertime3” defeated Finland’s “shamaani112” in heads-up play to win $7,800.

Sunday Deepstack Monsoon Ends in Heads-Up Chop

The $55 buy-in Sunday Deepstack Monsoon easily surpassed its $10,000 GTD by attracting 204 players who rebought 93 times. The 297-entry field generated a $14,850 prize pool that was paid out to the top 27 spots including “alexos888” (24th - $149), “janion8888” (16th - $186), “neverfoldQ5” (7th - $594), and “Smithstudent” (4th - $1,299).

After “leonidus1307” bowed out in third place for $1,745, the title came down to “GramNaKartke” and “Agustin12389.” After 9 hours and 12 minutes, the two agreed to a chop that saw the latter lock up $2,705 and the former take $2,790 and the title.

What to watch out for:

We’ve listened to you, the players, and are proud to offer more tournaments with lower buy-ins and bigger guarantees.

As a result, we recently introduced our new daily six-tournament series called Big Fish.

I ask for a cashout via bank wire. But it's been 10days still nothing. when I check the status of my cashout. it's still on process. Use to be 5 days max for bankwire cashout before. Anyone experiencing this problem also?

My only problem is the Eastern European players, so don't know anything about cashouts but my deposits have been instant. I wouldn't expect bank wires to be fast. Even the local bank wires take days for sure.

When I deposit using neteller before it was almost instant also. Yea im not expecting it to be fast. Since its bankwire. But 10 days still no approval from 888. Weird. On my past cashout it takes 3 to 4 days for approval. But now 10 days still nothing.

For me the reason was F-Secure Freedome. Once I disconnected from it I was able to install the new client.

Just imagine how much recreational players will go to PokerStars instead of playing 888 after this fantastic "you have to delete the client and download a new version from official website" update.

I am even ok with reg-hating policy of 888 but at least you have to give comfort conditions for rec.players.
