I have just bought a new computer and had to download the 888poker client to it.

I had a quick look at the withdrawals page, and, whilst it's not exactly like the one shown in the linked image, for Wire Transfers, immediately above the box where you have to write in the amount of withdrawal required, it states "Preferred withdrawal currency", (admittedly in small writing), and the dropdown list in the amount box gives you the choice of £, $, or Euros.

It would be very strange if yours wasn't the same. Can you show a screenshot, please?

For withdrawals, each time you submit a withdrawal, you have the option to choose your withdrawal currency -see below screenshot. This gives you the option to decide whether you want 888 to do the currency conversion or your banking institution.
These the only 2 options available but some banks do not take a percentage but just charge a fixed exchange rate.

i dont know why you keep repeating false statements:
(at least for my account?).

- My account currency already is USD. all deposits and all gameplay was in usd and my balance has always been shown in usd. why would it help to write to support and ask for it to be changed to USD?!

- I DO NOT HAVE THE OPTION TO CHOOSE MY WITHDRAWAL CURRENCY, which is part of the reason, i am posting here.
888 DOES NOT give me the option to decide wheather i want 888 or my bank do the currency conversion.

To be fair, they did tell you your withdrawal would be in Euros.

I see you chose to make a test withdrawal to find out the exchange rate. How much did you test it with? If it was only $5 or $10, maybe a minimum fee came into play? Also, were you hit with two exchange rates? 888poker changed your dollars to Euros, and then your bank changed the Euros to dollars?

If you are from a European country then your registered currency would be the Euro which is then exchanged by 888poker on deposit to USD. When you withdraw the USD is then exchanged to Euro's again. Unless you have asked support to change your registered currency to USD already because that is the only way you would be able to deposit and withdraw in USD.
Please call support and they will be able to look into your account and explain it for you.

Almost 3 weeks passed since we were told that fixing patch will be up in 2 weeks.

Something really nasty inside me tells me that this bug will NEVER be fixed,just like waiting list bug(10 years already?)
The way they treated wait list bug shows that they
a) dont care
b) their IT dep is incompitent af

When client crashes few times in a row,in short period of time,i stop my session ,tilted.
I guess some other ppl stop it too.888, u are loosing money, literally,every day this bug remains.Im sure that Stars would have patched this within hours or problem being known.And 888 are telling that they might fix it in few weeks.GG

“Turrrrible” Denies Eduardo “EduardoGarla” Garla Sunday Mega Deep Title

The $215 buy-in Sunday Mega Deep easily surpassed its $80K GTD by drawing 311 players who rebought 139 times. That generated a $90K prize pool paid out to the top 40 spots including “SteveyBG” (34th - $522), “tigerhoods62” (22nd - $900), “Farrugia_1” (12th - $1,800), “youler” (8th - $2,250), Christophero “Dustyourfish” Coloumbo (4th - $7,200), and “Urindeep****” (3rd - $9,900).

It took 10 hours and 38 minutes, but eventually the UK’s “Turrrrible” bested Brazil’s Eduardo “EduardoGarla” Garla in heads-up play to win $17,550.

Johannes “TrollKonst8” Korsar Slays the Whale for $25K

The $1,050 buy-in, $60,000 GTD Sunday Whale saw 48 players take to the virtual felt and rebought 19 times to create a $67,000 prize pool. Among those to compete but fall short of making the money were Jans “Graftekkel” Arends, Stephen “Kale333” Van Zadelhoff, and “bluffmagic,” just to name a few.

Among those to make the money were “Farrugia_1” (6th - $3,685), Niklas “tutten7” Åstedt (5th - $5,025), “WAFAL” (4th - $6,700), and Alessandro “ZeroNineee” Valli (3rd - $10,050). After 6 hours and 49 minutes, the title came down to a pair of Swedes in “cuadrado12” and Johannes “TrollKonst8” Korsar, with the latter ultimately prevailing to win $24,790.

It marked Korsar’s first win on 888pokre since the March 13 $50K Volcano, which he ook down for $15,086. A week after that, he finished runner-up in the same event for an additional $11,250.

“Crokou888” Wins Sunday GREAT 8

The $88 buy-in, $20,000 guaranteed Sunday GREAT 8 offered up a $23,200 prize pool after drawing 219 players who rebought 71 times. Among the 32 players to get a piece of it were Alexandru “alexos888” Baron (23rd - $232), “mursi17” (14h - $348), XL Eclipse champ “Kaktus26rus” (7th - $812), Christophero “Dustyourfish” Coloumbo (6th - $1,044), and “TripleAceIRL” (3rd - $2,668).

After 7 hours and 18 minutes, the tournament came to an end with the UK’s “Crokou888” prevailing over Germany’s “U_R_MyBank” to win the title and $4,698 top prize.

“wh4tisha3” Adds Sunday Challenge to Go Along w/ Monsoon Title

The $109 buy-in Sunday Challenge snuck past its $40K GTD by attracting 299 players who rebought 106 times. That created a $40,500 prize pool paid out to the top 40 players including Luigi “firgli” Knoppers (30th - $271), “Melapika” (15th - $608), “germaxii” (8th - $1,013), “CoinShipper” (5th - $2,228), andXL Inferno champ “tikkapekka” (4th - $3,240).

After “neverfoldQ5” bowed out in third place for $4,455, the title came down to Romania’s “dErEk_eekk” and Malta’s “wh4tishat3.” After 8 hours and 45 minutes, the latter came out on top to take down the $7,898 first-place prize. You might remember that back in April “wh4tisha3” took down the $10,000 Monsoon for $2,666.

“BrAvEHrT1” Weathers the Monsoon to Tune of $3,323

The $55 buy-in, $15K GTD Sunday Monsoon offered up a $16,250 prize pool after 239 players came to compete and rebought 86 times. Among the 36 players to get paid were Rafael “konnhand” Garcia (27th - $138), “IMDool” (15th - $219), “jarrJaar” (7th - $569), “s.totuli” (4th - $1,381), and “StrbxGrndr” (3rd - $1,836).

After 7 hours and 34 minutes, Canada’s “BrAvEHrT1” defeated Germany’s “neverfoldQ5” in heads-up play to win the $3,323 top prize.

every time I open 888 it auto closes. tried opening as admin, installing as admin, nothing works. I really have no clue how a software that has thousands and thousands of clients is that bad. it feels like the biggest changes made to it's core came in 1998.

What is the waitlist bug?

Is there any chance you guys could add some Zooms to your schedule, Stars has QUITE a few holes in their schedule that you guys could completely dominate by offering even any tourny, Party refuses to do zooms as MTTs.

I think there are honestly some good 9 handed, 6 handed, 3 handed, HU and PKOs that you guys could offer that would no doubt attract people to your site.

Its when u add yourself to waiting list.Then once there is free seat,they call you up.And when u try to click on empty seat,it says that this seat is already reserved for someone else.

I had exactly the same problem- my balance was in USD and a made withdrawals to my USD skrill account but somehow Euros were involved.
After few emails i wrote them simply ''please change my account's default currency from EUR to USD''
After that everything is fine and no mystical fees anymore.

Is it just me or are cashouts getting slower and slower?

It is referring to the "client crashes bug when you would close a table".
Do you have any new information on this one?

But now it's been a week. And still it havent been approve yet. So yea it's getting slower for me.
