First, I'm not sure what MTTs you're on about. I can assure you I've played some scheduled tourneys last week which had different break times.

Second, even if all your MTTs happen to have the same break times that's of little use if you are engaged playing the last hand in one of those and lose half of the break. They should copy FTP's model.

I know they are on synch breaks (for the most part).

I was referring to the fact that the breaks start at 55mins past the hour regardless of whether or not you are still playing a hand. If you happen to get dealt a hand just before x.55 and the hand finishes at x.58 you only get 2 mins of a break.

As far as I know both Pokerstars and Full Tilt operated the break so that it started after the last hand finished and everyone got the full 5 mins.

Kinda ennoying if you are playing multiple tournaments for hours on end but only getting a break of a few minutes each hour.

Yes you explained the issue better, that is exactly what I meant.

There should also be an option to lower the volume of the sounds, they are awfully high comparing to other clients.

There was an issue with the 888reloadme code.

The problem should be corrected, and the new code is 8882p2. This offer will be extended until the end of the month.

Please answer me, I am a customer that has withdrew all funds until I find out why you are ripping off customers that have no idea of this domant acct policy you have hidden in your Terms and Cond. I did not know about it, only I am a avg player, and I know enough to come on here to check stuff, but what about the 10's of thousands of players that don't know about this and do not know that if they contact you they can get their money back. Seems like a big waste of time and energy to have to do this just to rip off customers.

Also please respond to why this VIP at 888 is contacting me!!!?? ANSWER NOW!!! here is the copy and paste of the PM. I will not contact this person until I know what this is about. Thank you!

maybe its different time zones, but in australian prime time, every single tournament from the 3r to the $55 has had synch breaks for about a year now. maybe there are some other ones on the schedule that dont, i cant really comment on that.

i do agree that this sucks a bit and if you are involved in a hand it usually only means 3 mins break instead of 5, but this is a pretty minor concern to me really because if you are multi tabling, you have to be back for the first table anyway, so it doesn't really make that much of a difference.

1) I have absolutely nothing to do with writing of policies and T&A's. I don't like it any more than you do, but there is nothing I can do about it besides pass on all of our negative feedback.

2) I have absolutely no idea why an 888 member is contacting you. Surely you aren't suggesting that I'm responsible for every PM every 888 user sends to every person. If you want to know what he's talking about, ask him. If not, ignore him.

Is 888 down? Everybody suddenly started timing out etc and action was really slow, altho I never DC-ed. I quit all tables and now my balance wont refresh to the correct balance. All the money I had on the tables is in limbo.

It went down for me, DCed and didn't let me reconnect for about 5 mins. Nice to see paying highest rake in the industry gives us such a reliable site!

888 rep, I'm still waiting for some feed-back on :

1. Poker client closing itself after being all-in at Omaha Hi-Lo cash games.

2. Are you taking seriously people berating fish on some data mining site grounds? If so, what actions are you taking? How are we supposed to proceed?

3. Do you intend to fix the tourney breaks issue?

Also, it'd be nice to know what's your project about the tourney leader board.

There was some maintenance being done that may have caused some downtime for some (~10mins).

Anyone having still having issues reconnecting or lost any $ in tournament entries as a result, contact support and they should be able to take care of you.

1. Have never heard of this issue before, but it certainly is a serious problem. What version are you using so I can look into it properly? Pressing F4 in the lobby will show you.

2. I can't personally do anything about chat at the tables. Your faster solution is to go directly to support. Unfortunately, support is unable to recall previous chat, so your best solution for results is to provide a screenshot to support as well.

You can send your issues to me if you want (with screenshot), and I'll make sure they find the correct home. It's just a more long-winded approach.

3. Synchronized breaks do exist, and do work. However, as you say it would be better if they started after the last hand was played.

^^ That being said, doesn't solve your problem. An 80 player Turbo is going to have all hands finish more quickly than a 850 player Sunday Challenge, and then you are back to your original complaint of having 1 break being longer than the other. I'll pass your feedback along either way.


As per Tourney Leaderboard. I haven't been given any updates on this in forever. For the time being, I couldn't begin to speculate plans for direction, and better not too.

Hey 888Rep,

3 times last night during play on 6 Max PLO tables, I was given a popup user message from 888 that said:
"Table is no longer available. Please choose another table"
"OK" button was the only option
Table was then closed and removed from Lobby.

Since I had paying the blinds and was mid orbit each time, can i get a refund or a credit?
(I contacted support via online chat, who basically said, log out and log in again, reinstall software, if it was an actual problem then more people would complain etc., which was unhelpful)
If needed I have the chat log with support, a screenshot of the popup window and table names, and I think via hand historys I may be able to get some usernames of other players at the table who I assume had the same thing happen and can therefore confirm.

Please let me know what if anything can be done.

^^^ Similar to what was happening to me at PLO Hi-Lo but in my case the message said something like "there is a problem with poker and it has to close" and not only the table but also the lobby would shut ( so I had to log in again and as you say you lose money due to blinds ).

havent had this happen to me on my plo or plo8 tables yet, but it is disturbing. I am using a newly downloaded 888poker client, maybe your client needs to be updated? I hope they fix this problem for you.

Was this only yesterday? Or has this happened on other occasions as well? As mentioned before there was maintenance being done yesterday that lead to some tables being closed.

If you can send me the screenshot of the popop (or just post it and i'll copy it), that'd be great.

I spend most of my time talking to PLO players on 888 and astrobel's was the first time I've heard of it. Definitely taking it seriously though.

Why do you charge Moneybookers in EUR when making a USD deposit? I have a moneybookers account in USD and when I made a deposit it charged it in EUR.

I lost 3% of my deposit without even playing a hand.
