Are there any updates with regards to turning off the ie pop up's when I log on? They make my computer lag like crazy.

I play husng's, when I win I get like 3 pop ups telling me I have won, I'm already aware of that so don't need 3 pop up boxes informing me. Can you tell me how to stop this from happening?

Where is the 'Double Rebuy Button' in MTTs ?

I'm sure all tournament players would agree its a rather handy feature we're missing here.

Thanks.

Oh, and I almost forgot:

Please, increase the 'Show Hand' display time to at least 2 seconds.

Also, when someone decides to show a bluff or smth similar, his holding doesn't show in the Replayer which is totally illogical. Please work on it.

Thanks!

1. To bring in more recreational players, provide more fun games/formats
2. To get rid of tracking sites
3. To stop MASS multitabling, > 4-6
4. To get rid of bots

I think this can happen with webcam tables if 888:

1. Fix the rules so players must show face on camera
2. Take this perfect opportunity to do 'anonymous tables' right. No screennames, just webcam.
3. Add fun software that allow you to change your background and clothes+accesories etc.

Would like to hear more ideas to make this format popular, and please, no trolling about meat spins etc. They obv arent having any problems with nudity as the site holds polayers' cash and all players have a button which can instantly blocks any images.
You do not need webcams do achieve any of the above/you can not achieve some of the above with webcams

1. I highly doubt that stuff like that will bring more recreational poker players to the tables...most of the recreational players do stuff on the side anyways...watching a move, surfing the internet, chatting with friends and so on...maybe there are some players out there that are motivated by making some "friends" while playing webcam poker but I highly doubt its a reasonable number.
2. You can get rid of tracking sites by allowing players to change their screenname once a month...problem solved.
3. If you want to stop masstabling just make a table limit like on Bodog or 888...but you should be aware that this does not solve the problem...if someone can only play 8 tables on 888 he can still open 8 more tables on anohter site and there is nothing you can do about it....so those players will still play nitty and delay speed at the table....so no webcam or anon tables will do anything good in regards to that.
4. Bots are only part of the problem...even with anon tables and webcam you can still collued with other players via Skype or whatever...also you are aware that someone can run a botprogram on a computer while watching a move on the other half of the monitor...so the webcam will show someone starring into the screen but if he is playing or not is still unclear...but I have to admit that might be thin...but still dont see webcams/anon tables a real solution to this problem either.
5. Recreational player or not...I'm 100% convinced that there are more players out there that dont like to show their face while playing online than players that would appreciate that or like the idea...so not sure why you wanna force players to do that.

Have anyone tried to contact support on this site? Don't you think their crew is a joke? Never ever creat your account there. Avoid this site. Software is full of bugs. Support does not exist - everytime you try to contact them there is someone eles that will contact you in not less than 48h! You have to wait for any reply 48h, support member chose one question from your email - usualy the one that have the easiest answer, write one sentence about that - most of the time 'we didnt meet that problem', then couple thousands words about being glad they were able to help you and how they love you. If you make a reply via email, you wait 48h and other member support answer your question - he has no idea about the case, rest of the first email, and he writes exact same answers. Bugs are still bugs, players lose their cash, disconnection are almost natural - you or your opponent will be disconnected for couple moments in on of two heads ups for sure. Backup internet connection wont help you, cause these are problems with their servers... Software shows random chip numbers after hand is over and chips move to players. With 3k chips in play it sometimes shows like 2200 vs 1900... Never ever meet such a weak support - bunch of people that have no idea about poker.

By the way - I asked them what should I do to close my account after my last cashout will be processed and they have blocked my account immediately Not sure whether I lost my cash or not... (Cashout was made like 24h earlier and was awaiting process at that time). Dont you think that cashout on moneybookers that last for 3 to 4 day is a bit long one? (it is standard on 888)

I've been playing a bit recently on 888 and agree the software is buggy.
There is quite a delay between clicking an action button and anything actually happening.
Also yesterday I won a big pot with AJ in hand and the chat window said ...wins with a pair of 8s. There were no 8s on the table.

The funniest thing is that they still attack you with some surveys - all the time ask 'what do you think about our support?', 'what do you think about our software?' - you gave them answers that everything is just weak, full of bugs, incompetenet ppl etc, and nothing changes. They only thanks and ask again in few weeks. And out of a sudden thay boast about being the best poker operator in some contest... Joke...

@ 888 Rep

Its not thursday night 23:34 GMT...I just noticed that the player Good_Beat from Estonia is sitting on 12 tables and playing there...whats strange is that he is sitting at some tables as Good Beat without the _ and on some as Good_Beat BUT when you click on player notes his screenname is always Good_Beat and he has the same avator and is from Estonia...also when I make a note it appears for Good Beat and Good_Beat. So it seems that there is some Bug with that _ that makes it possible for players to play more tables....since I told you the screenname and time please let your IT guys check this problem.

Sometimes when you play someone he has more capital letters in his nick, sometimes less - like Abc or abc - depends on day. Sometimes in multi table tourneys some players are listed in lobby under complete different nickname - other country, other nick, but chip count is always ok between those two.

You can log in using any combination of upper and lower case letters, e.g. DURRR durrr Durrr dUrRr. There was an update in Holdem Manager 2-3 years ago that changed all player names to lower case, because some people were exploiting this to make it harder to get reliable stats on them.

Even if he plays on more than one skin (I know you are allowed to have an account at 888 and Luckyace for example) that does not change the fact that as I said...when I clicked on player notes it showed the same avatar, country and most important the same name...Good_Beat...even for the tables he was sitting as Good Beat...and secondly...when I made a note or gave him a certain tag it appeared on both names Good Beat and Good_Beat too...so not sure how you can explain this with different skins.

I've been recently trying to get some answers regarding 888 ripping customers off with currency conversion. In my situation they are essentially stealing money from me even when they are not even doing any currency exchange. I've sent several emails but they just flat out refuse to acknowledge my point. As a result I won't be playing on the site again and I urge everyone to do the same.

Here's the last email exchange again refusing to deal with my complaint and I've given up now. (Read second email first)

Dear Aek203,

Thank you for contacting us.

Aek203, the question you have asked with regard to exchange rates at the time of Deposit, I can confirm we will take deposits as per the exchange rate used in our systems for any given day, between USD and GBP.

With currency exchange rates, to have a realistic/standard idea of how much you will receive, you should always work with rates +/-2% - +/-4% off the Interbank rate. This would be in-line with rates offered by exchange bureau's, banks etc.. As such all deposits are taken 2-4% off Interbank rate and cashouts paid 2-4% off Interbank rate.

Aek203, if you are unhappy with the exchange rate we apply, you may request that your account with 888poker be changed so that all of your deposits are taken in USD so your bank/card issuer will also decide the exchange rate on deposits. If you wish to have this change applied to your account, please confirm. They would have still applied a buying and selling rate to the amount the transaction, but they may provide you with an approved exchange rate as they are able to provide their customers with a rate higher than available to the market

We are constantly reviewing and comparing our exchange rates against other sites and banking services, at present we feel that we are in-line with the current market.

Aek203, if you require further assistance in this or any other matter, please feel free to contact us.

Kind regards,
Jonathan P.

Hi 888,

I'm not sure if you read my first email but I would appreciate it if you read this one carefully so you can give me an adequate response.

From my original email:
"You use a UK payment processor and so are charged almost nothing to take my payment in £'s. Therefore the exchange into dollars is done internally so no real exchange into dollars takes place you just show my balance in the poker client as dollars rather than pounds."

Your reply:
"The exchange rate you receive when you make a deposit/ cashout via credit or debit card is one that is determined on a daily basis and is implemented into our systems. These exchange rates are comparable with the daily commercial rates offered by banks and credit card companies.

It is possible that these deductions were made by either your bank or corresponding bank. Unfortunately we are unable to issue a refund for any fees incurred outside of our control."

My point is that no currency exchange has occurred when depositing to my poker account.
You took a payment for £678 from my account in pounds. This money goes into your UK bank account as pounds not dollars.

The fact that you choose to display this in the poker client as 1000 dollars is irrelevant. You still have pounds sitting in your UK bank account. No real exchange has taken place so you can't charge me 5% or whatever it is for the privilege.

I assume what would happen if I had instantly cashed out is that you would charge me another imaginary exchange fee and I would receive about £620 back. However what in reality had actually happened is you would have debited £678 from my UK account into your UK account then sent me back £620 and pocketed 50 odd quid. Whether this is legal or not I'm not sure, but it is certainly immoral.

Just as an aside when you deposit on pokerstars in pounds. They exchange it internally at the official xe.com rate as they should.

Regards,
Aek203

You have no chances at all to get any reply that makes sense from their support. Last time I decided to leave the site and cashout my whole bankroll there - almost 2k USD. After that I asked support what should I do to close my account after my last cashout will be processed, they answered way faster than normal and blocked my account almost immediately after I only asked what should I do in the future. At the moment I have no idea what is going on with my cash. They do not answer my emails, cash is still not on MB - no idea if this is ever gonna be there. They ordered me to give them my accurate account details to finish closing account - of course I didnt continue this procedure and emailed them and asked about my cashout and unblocking my account - no response...

ATTENTION!888 steals thousands of dollars of jackpot players without them knowing,REPEAT WONT BE REFUNDING THOSE MONEY!. I just found they 888 making me paid jackpot rake for hands that didnt go to showdown. This could add up to thousands of dollars in stolen rake alone for me. They havent refunded me a dime, and seems to be keeping quite about this issue! wtf? 888rep what do you have to say about this?

888 steals all the time. I still have my account frozen with all the cash. They boast about having support 24/7, they say they will respond up to 48hrs. So 48hrs or 24/7? Anyway - my cash if frozen and I'm waiting 3rd day for any info... 3 emails to different adresses casiono/poker/operative group - nothing...

"XXX, with regards to your query, I would like to inform you that we respect your right to request the closure of your account and have complied with your wishes; the account is now closed.

The best part is 'please send an email to:' - nothing... where TF should I send email?

Hahahahhaahah - toll-free number given in their cashier cost like 7 USD per minute Cheaters...
