What on earth were the managers at 888.com thinking when they replaced the standard $50 double or nothing games with a crazy 10 seated 2 tables "new" double or nothing game? There was nothing wrong with the old game and i cannot envisage the regulars signing up for this new game because:

1. It makes multi tabling near impossible due to the 2 table format

2. It changes strategy completely from game to game - what happens if one table has 2 or 3 players and one table has 5? - You need to be a good short handed player to be successful - which is one of the main reasons why regulars play double or nothing as opposed to regular 6 seated DONS because they are no good at short-handed or hu play!

3. It reduces rake per hour for both player and site due to lack of multi table opportunities - what the hell??!

4. It will reduce traffic altogether at $50 level (not increase it as i assume they were thinking) as players will drop down to $20/30 normal double or nothings, or go up to $75 double or nothing.

5. These games are unfair to all as you could be put on a table of 4 regulars whilst another player could be put on a table full of fish. One main reason players play sit n go's is that you can choose the table you are sat at (ie a table of weak players) - these games take away that option as table selection is random.

Please get rid of these stupid games, or at the very least give players the option to play the old ones as well, or i fear that players will head straight to ipoker whereby regular double or nothing tournaments at $50 run throughout the day with good traffic.

I am all for the introduction of new poker games to the site, but please please ask your customers and listen to their feedback before doing something crazy such as this.

I will eat my hat if these games become popular, +1 if you agree.

Many thanks.
Just sat for 1 hour 20 mins in the new Don format waiting for a game (great traffic)

can you put a timestamp on the chat box so we can see when things were written.

for example

player 1 : hn

[18:34:05] player 1 : nh

thanks

you cant cascade on this site because new tables are popping up over tables that need action. This causes a ton of misclicks/tilt. Ill play this site when this is sorted out.

wouldnt it be more clever to fix the many small bugs u have, that shouldnt take much time to implement if ur sofware dev were using not only the left hand for work. Then after expand to the smaller apple fields.. Instead you will have to fix problems on many platforms when ur finished and feel like fixing bugs. Just seem like more work to me.
Prob the worst software dev team ive experienced in 8 years.. been on pacific for 5 of them

Another thing
i tried to withdraw a small amount to MB(skrill) and couldnt, had to have recently dep from MB first. I tried to do that and i typed $x and underneath it wrote "Your account will be debited DKKxxx,x" at a bad exchange rate..
In the past ive made pure $ to $ deposits and withdrawels but now uve implemented my national currency(danish kroner) and exchange rates in a dollar to dollar transaction.. whats up with that??

I know if I were a first time depositor and had to dep a few thousand $ on my account and saw that, i would instantly uninstall and u would never see me again!

and while you are working on that :-) please give us the option to make the chat box disappear too...this is acutally one of the few things I kinda liked on Party...guess that says it all. But seriously...a little button that lets us push the chat box kinda together (not sure those are the correct words but I'm not a native speaker...still sure you get what I mean).

You can just turn on dealer message to get a general idea of when things were said in the chat box. If you want to get more specific times just look at the hand history time stamp before or after the chat.

Contact their support via live chat if you need to change it. They changed this for me to USD before I deposited instantly.

how easy is it to get money off of 888.com? I am thinking of depositing with a mastercard but would like to withdrawal in the future with skrill. Is this going to be possible or a huge pain in the ass?

its gonna be a huge pain. they wont allow it and mastercards dont take withdrawal. try visa or a bank transfer to mb

hmm so the support lady not only didn't respond to most my questions and and copy+pasted those weird irrelevant ads and ALSO lied to me (the only question she answered she lied)

So, how does someone get money off if they deposit with a MasterCard? How can you use Moneybrookers as an option in the future? I guess you can do a bank wire right?

You have to make a deposit from MB first to be able to withdraw to it. Your best bet would be to transfer money from your mastercard to MB then deposit from there.

Also they have some strange policy where withdrawals go back to where they were deposited from first then the rest will go to other accounts of your choosing.
For example: If you depost $1k from a credit card and try to cash out $3k to MB they will deposit the first $1k back to the credit card and the rest to MB.

Is there any way I can stop myself from getting ripped off by 888's strange interpretation of exchange rates?

I live in the UK and I always seem to lose out on several £'s per withdrawal for no good reason other than 888 helping itself seemingly!

Haven't seen it mentioned on here yet but 888 have celebrated the new year and rewarded their players by reducing the monthly reload bonus from $200 to $50.

Super lame bonus to match their super lame rake and VIP system.

JANRELOAD2012, for those interested.

Try harder.

I nagged and got the code GET200NOW for a $200 reload bonus.

The first time I don't get a decent reload bonus will be the last time I play on the site.

so how do you guys do this, do you regularly withdraw and then re-deposit $200 for the bonus?`or do you only get reload bonus if you haven't withdrawn for a while?

I just make the reload and then carry on withdrawing as and when I see fit.

If you're adequately rolled, it shouldn't make any difference to whatever you normally do.

Im Canadian, they have option to cashout cashout in USD or CDN funds.Might be better if you cash out in USD and exchange when the rates are good at home.On the other hand, their exchange rates for credit card deposit is a total joke.Losing 4 points on some days.

The 'bonus' portion of your roll will be barred from withdrawal until your promotion ends yes? And I'm assuming this goes with any reload bonus you might sign up for next as well.

How long do you have to unlock that $200 reload?
