Looking into a solution sounds like it's still at the discussion stage..
..and so if it's a software implemented solution it could be a long way off yet.

I'd imagine the answer will be no, but is there any chance of letting us know what form the proposed solution will take?
Some constructive feedback (possible exploits, pros and cons) might assist the team in meeting the requirements.

Just change the policy and punish everyone who camps. I like how people think sitting out 3-handed isn't scummy just because it's not technically against 888's rules at the moment.

We have decided to remove these steps, they will be replaced in the near future with a new, more generic step system, that will lead to many tournaments.
In the meantime there are the regular MTT satellites to the $55 tournaments.

I have been emailing 888 support for an adress change over the past month, sent at least 5-6 emailw, i get the confirmation thwt they received my email but I obv nevet get any answer.

As I am a programmer of good knowledge, how did this problem appear ? What was it caused by ?

The poker.exe has stopped working is randomly appearing with no relevance to the connection status or if it.s lagging or not.

Also this has been reported earlier i think ? Right after a losing hand, rebuy doesn`t get processed.

But the point is that right now you are allowed to sit out 3handed (scummy or not) - so I was asking what should be done in the scenario described.

A similar question could have been asked if only sitting out HU was allowed..
What to do when a 3rd or 4th player joins and sits out?

If a s/ware solution is implemented - that is much better. But what to do in the meantime is still a relevant question, no?

Personally I don't mind it, and don't see it the same as sitting out when there are more people on the table.
Especially these days when so many regs have scripts (it'd be better if they could be stopped too, but that's not happening any time soon) - tables fill in less than 1 second - how do you get a seat if not using a script, and not a HU player?
I do play HU sometimes btw, depending on what else i'm doing at the time.
Not that there's much incentive to do so at 888.

That's been happening for as long as I can remember..
Usually happens when there is lag.
Mostly fixes itself, but sometimes you have to leave table to top up.

I'm not particularly good at HU, and I'm down money starting games this year, but it still makes me a bunch of money because I get good seats all the time that I wouldn't otherwise get. And it helps me get better at poker. That's the incentive for starting games.

It sucks that people have scripts, it sucks that people camp, it sucks that people sit out when fish sit out. Those people should all be banned. But I don't feel bad for anyone who misses out on good seats because they're not willing to play HU. You can either start games and hope a fish sits, or you can wait for fish to sit and hope you get a seat. It's 100% your choice. If you choose the second option, maybe you'll have a higher winrate with less variance, but you'll probably get in fewer good games and make less money overall.

no surprise that they still have the seating bug, and also highly annoying that if u time out in the small blind they still force you to post a full big blind in the cutoff instead of a small blind, something ive posted about in this thread multiple times dating back a year
