Yeah, I can't solve it by myself. The result of discussion with managers of LuckyAce is:
1. 8 tables is the new maximum of 888
2. 4 tables problem is solving by installing the latest software from official site.

Had some issues too so I opened live chat and the customer support there told me that 8 tables max from now on for all players.

8 tables is too low. Please increase it at least 10.

+1 Last weekend I was playing up to 16 tables at times since the tables I opened filled up quickly. Now I have to start playing on another site. Not to mention it will be impossible to get into the better VIP tiers by 8-tabling.

I have to say as a customer I'm insulted by this last update.

Is this rule apply to sng's? That would be very bad. Currently I only play on 6-7 tables maximum, but I was planning to by a big screen next month, just to be able to play on more.

i wonder why rooms smtimes do their best to get rid off their moneymakers (this is similarly stupid as ladbrokes anonymous tables-'to protect the fish from the regs..so they don't have such advantage..)

a: a fish, goes busto 2 BIs in 100hands (what is it, 10$ rake??)
b: reg playing 50k hands a months -3k$+ rake

The reason of the "a" option is the regs finishing the fish too fast. If there were no regs, fish would be able to play much longer before going busto and even when they inevitably did, they would be more likely to deposit again.

I don't disagree with the 8 tables cap. I just don't understand why would they let players play at just 4 tables with older clients.

yep maybe there would be more action if regs didn't refuse to play other regs..
i always laugh hard when a hero is ''starting the tables'', u sit in and he sitsout...

wtf logic is that, fish will totally join a table where 2 guys are sitting and no game is going on..

if you really want to limit the number of tables to 8, then please improve the tile lay-out function. at the moment, 12 tables is the perfect fit for a medium sized monitor (on a 24 inch monitor it's 3 rows of 4), and if you have 8 tables and click tile, it unecessarily reduces them all to minimum size, leaving a ton of space on the screen. tilting as hell and you have to resize/arrange them manually, which isn't easy with the laggy way the resizing works.

8 tables max is fine for me. I rarely play more than 4. I just wish that the client would remember the layout though, like Pokerstars does. It's so annoying having to resize and move tables to fit my screen, and then when I leave one table and open a new one, it's in the wrong place and the wrong size.

I have to say, I agree with the majority of posters here - I am not pleased with the 8 table cap, the multi-tables was fine the way it was and I do hope that 888 removes this limit very soon.

If 888 expects players, especially the loyal players to rake them more money then the 8 limit cap isn't exactly helping things. A cap isn't going to affect the fish, if they want to play then they will play regardless. I really hope you convey this message to 888 and get them to undo the cap.

Thats fun. This morning I've bought another display to double the number of tables. Not a joke. I guess its doom.

Does this limit apply to tournament/sng tables as well? because if it does, what happens if you are registered for 10 tournaments?

or if there is a limit on registrations, what happens if you win a satellite which isn't for weeks?

I noticed this bug before where if you have max tables open and the waiting list pops up asking you to join it says you have maximum tables open so you can't join even though that table is already open. So really the limit is 7 tables open if you're on waiting lists. I don't mind the 8 limit cap but this bug is annoying.

Its an interesting decision for sure. I don't think its any coincidence that their rise to the fourth biggest site and record revenues coincided with upping the max tables over the the past year. I have a feeling this is going to be a short lived experiment...
