Well, he's either really good, running really hot (possibly both, of course) or cheating. I gotta look through some HH's, but I've seen some stuff from him that's not normal.

I only have 140~ hands of him at 200nl but he is up a cool $550~ in that sample.

i do suspect him of colluding with Jensbutton on occasions, its odd he plays anything from 33/26 then 18/14 over decent samples

You are somewhat correct. Initially, with all the intense complaining that was going on, I thought that there was an interesting problem that needed solving. Now that I have a much deeper understanding of the issue, I realize that the fundamental problem can't be solved with table-starting rules. Whether or not it is worth 888's effort to monitor these tables to enforce rules that favour some players over others is up to 888 to figure out. It's consuming a small amount of resource; is there a payback? Are there, in fact, more hands being dealt at these stakes now?

There were a lot of accusations about unethical conduct which are largely baseless, except for the buttoning issue which could easily be fixed in the software. This buttoning issue deserves much more noise than the camping issue ainec.

As I've said, I'm surprised that 888 has adopted a rule that forces HU play having removed HU tables from the site. IMO, these high stakes tables suffer from the same issues that the HU tables did and an argument could be made that they, too, should be removed. Yeah, I can hear all the screaming already... but

888rep, if you're following this, I'm 100% serious that 888 would be better if they removed games that don't have a player mix that promotes stable games. From what I've seen these games spring up only sporadically and die very quickly. They generate little revenue for the site. It would be better for the site overall to get these players into the mainstream games. If they decide to go elsewhere, it's no big loss to 888; it's such a tiny portion of the revenue stream and the increase in revenue from the stable games would almost certainly counterbalance that loss.

Looking through hh now , colluding with players does look a strong possibility.

No cheating here (at least, in overall plus), guys, i've looked at his stats deep. He is bumhunter with very strict tableselect, due to his data. He is big in bb/100 but he is very low in profit/hours, just look at his profits not in hands but in months.

He's definitely not good at poker, and I like having him at my tables because it means 1) it's a sick table and 2) he's +EV to play against. He's just very very strict with his table selection; he only plays the absolute biggest whales, so of course he's gonna have a huge winrate.

It's not like he can sustain anything close to that over a large sample of hands. He's a fish relative to the average 200nl reg, but he spends all of his free time waiting for whales to sit and puts in very little volume. He's the ultimate bumhunter and to his credit he plays very well against fishies.

Also, he's absolutely, positively, 100% colluding with Jens when they're at the same table. I'd bet anyone any amount of money at any odds. I have a lot of hands of them playing together in my DB but I don't really have a clue how to analyze the hands to look for definitive proof (other than the hands where it "really looks like they're colluding" which I'm sure isn't enough evidence even though it's extremely obvious to anyone paying the slightest attention).

why do you think the waitinglist bug has improved? i think it is worse than ever before. more than every 2nd waitinglist i get a seat i cannot sit at the table...

The waitlist clears once table breaks pretty fast now where it used to take 20mons for a wl of 10 to clear. I am still getting taken to full tables however.

I play mostly 200nl so the former was a bigger issue for the games there. It's still not perfect but it has improved

i also play mostly 200nl and i personaly liked it better the way it was before. but it is clearly better for the games that this part has improved.

There are only a few ways that the waiting list issue could improve:
They make a software change that fixes it, or some part of it, or
They tell us what we're doing that triggers it so that we can avoid the issue.

Since we haven't heard anything, it's fairly safe to assume that it is exactly as it has been.

888 is one of the worst sites I've ever played on. The support is absolute garbage. All the issues that you used to see on Stars but don't see any more are still rampant on 888. If the rec goes to the washroom, the whole table sits out til he gets back. I've reported the same guy for cheating twice over the phone and both times I got a female who probably accomplishes absolutely nothing every day. The same guy is continuing to cheat all the time. I reported him on Full Tilt and they investigated him and found that he was in fact cheating and will not be doing so any more. Does 888 do the same? Nope, nothing.

Then today I look at some of my cashout history and notice that I've been getting jipped on the exchange rate all along. I phone them up, get some stupid broad as always and instead of hanging up right away like I should have, I waste my time talking to an idiot reading me generic responses off of her response sheet. Go ahead and jip me 888....I'll continue to play my 100 hands a month on your site while getting supernova elite on Stars for the 4th year in a row.

Rep, the "Sit out next BB"-Button only works 2/3rd of the time, which is super annoying, and cost quite a bit of money. Mostly when a table is about to break, and the player in front of me is decides not to post any more blind, it handles the BB over to me and I autopost, even though I checkmarked "Sit out next BB".

Could u please put this on the list, so hopefully this can be fixed within the next 10 years. Tx

And a related anomaly when a player who would post the big blind decides to sit out leaving just two players: The current hand needs to be cancelled and the SB returned to the non-button player. Then the HU blinds would get posted properly. Currently, the button ends up posting the BB, which is incorrect.
