Please, please, 888 rep, go nowhere near this idea at all. It's basically a semi-bot, which would completely wreck the games and see a mass exodus of thinking regs. If you want to encourage multi-tabling, and the number of hands played per player (and which site wouldn't?) then there are two things to focus on:

1. Just speed up the software a bit. FTP's software (my only real point of comparison) just seemed to run slightly faster and so allow more hands per hour. Insta-fold doesn't seem quite as, um, instant.

2. Fix the focus steal effect which seems to occur a lot of the time, so that every time action is to you on a new table, that table pops up, meaning you have to click back to the old one and interrupting the thought process. The pop-up system should build a queue, and as soon as you complete action on the first table, additional tables should pop up in the order of time left to act. Make this change and I (and I suspect quite a few others) will increase the number of tables I play, increasing liquidity and rake.

Cliffs: don't ever introduce something which auto-folds certain hands. Make other changes instead.

That's not correct. When a player country is not displayed it means that they either play from a different site on the same network or they are logged in via the web platform(the no-download version).

Ok, after having read other posts against this idea and after having thought about it further myself, admittedly I agree that this idea shouldn't be implemented. My initial idea was that it was good for multi-tablers to focus on hands that are more important but now having thought about it I agree that this feature should be left well alone ...

Hi 888, just made my first deposit at your site. I'm pretty happy with the software and I literally tried 10 other sites before settling at yours

There are just a few features which I really really miss from the Pokerstars software. Would be so great if it could be implemented.

[B]1. Auto Wait for Big Blind[\B]

This should be a staple in the settings section! Why would I not want to wait for the big blind at one table and not the other? And why after clicking it do I need to still decide to auto-post blinds from that point onwards? It's just very cumbersome. In addition, the timer to post or wait for Big Blind is wicked fast, especially when multi-tabling. I say, just enable us to pre-determine to auto wait for big blind, always.

[B]2. Multi-filters for the Lobby[\B]

Meaning giving me the ability to set several filters such as a table by Avg Stack, followed by Plr/Flop and so on. More fields at the lobby would be nice too.

[B]3. Time Bank[\B]

Nothing hurts more than timing out on other tables when making a tough decision! One poker room I saw had a cool time bank feature where extra time scales by pot size or replenishes when you play more hands.

[B]4. Sit out on Next Hand/ Big Blind (Single table and all tables)[\B]

Pretty self explanatory why this would be a feature of great convenience - for both tilt and washroom breaks!

I used to play on your site a ton, but cashed out after hu nl died. I'd def redeposit if you add PLO hu.

I just installed a software update and now there is a new functionality - lounges - the ability to create private tournaments and games (cool) - 888rep are there any other updates besides that that we need to be aware of in the upgrade?

Mine works... It was a bit slow though. I'll inquire about any issues, in the meantime, the usual restart software, restart computer, reboot modem, update software might help.

I don't think this would have a negative impact on the PLO traffic. Most of the players 1/2 and up multi table all available tables at their limits anyways. And the limits below 1/2 have reasonable amounts of traffic.


I think the demand has been high enough to warrant a trial run, although it's not my decision anyways. All the feedback here gets sent to the decision makers. Yours will be passed along as well.

Having confidence that your money is safe is our primary concern. Whether it's myself (Aaron), or Sean, if there are every any emergencies, you should always be able to get someone via PM.

i second this, gets so annoying when you only have like 2 secs to post yr blind
and then wait another orbit, miss it that time again...

Tip: After you have clicked on the "wait for BB" button, tick the "auto-post blinds" checkbox. It will then auto-post the blind when it's your BB.

But yeah, a standardized auto-wait for BB would be great

Just make that option well hidden in the settings so no fish can find it.
