You should adjust your resolution.
Thanks!

I was playing today's $22 starfish tournament, 50K starting stack and I busted my stack. Then I clicked rebuy and did a rebuy.. only to see I received 5K stack at big blind 3K for $22. This very same tournament used to just recently, maybe yesterday or day before have 5K starting stack if I'm right. So the structure was changed but someone forgot to change the amount for rebuys. I believe I should compensated for $19.80 as I only received $2.20 worth of stack?

Thank you for contacting us.

This email serves to update you based on your request contact with us regarding our $4000 Deepstack StarFish.

*Name*, based on the details located in the lobby, said game has starting chips of 50,000 and allow 3 rebuys for $20 + 2 for 5,000 chips.

This information can be found by going to all games then tournaments and all. Also you can ensure that you have the boxes in the lower section of your lobby checked so that you can see games that are running, completed, satellites as well for Hold'em and Omaha.

The search bar is located in that lower section as well so that you can simply search your game by entering the ID.
- How do I talk with someone who doesn't understand where the issue is?

It's clearly a mess up by someone who changes tournament structures for 888. I play more than 1 tournament, and I really don't have time to read every single letter, in this case that "re-enter/rebuy - as you can only rebuy when you stack is 0" is $22 for 5K stack, while first entry is 50K for $22.

Please don't tell me that it's meant to be 5K stack for $22 rebuy/reentry. Because all the other tourneys that have such rebuy/reentry feature where you can re-enter/rebuy when your stack falls below 1 chips give you the exactly same stack as you get on your initial registration.

Hehe, what do you expect from 888? They do not hire thinking people in suport. And there is purpose in this strategy.

I provided them like 5 screenshots of similar structure tournaments where the rebuy is same amount of chips as initial entry but that's the answer i got.

"Please note that the re-buy in the starfish deepstack is not an error. "

- Anyone competent enough at 888 can look into this or no? Yesterday over 30 rebuys were made, today it's at 12 with 2h and 20mins. At least when days pass people realize "fail", but people are getting screwed right now.

Thank you for contacting us.

*name*, thank you for your feedback and the screenshot you sent. Please understand that the deepstack prizes and re-buys varies account to the tournament and the type of fish. Since the Catfish is bigger, you would find the the tournament information is structured differently.

I hope that this has shed some light on your query. Please note that the re-buy in the starfish deepstack is not an error.

If you require further assistance with this or any other matter *name*, please feel free to contact us.

So if you bust out on the first hand you have paid $44 to have a chip stack of 5k against all opponents having 50k chips for their $22?

That is ridiculous and, obviously, it ain't right.

888rep, i think you should escalate this issue by yourself. It is an obvious error (somebody who created tournament forgot to press "0")

Also player Shirachi90 continues to use seating script and still wasn't punished for this.

Poker Room Management have updated that this is of course a human error in configuration. We will send a compensation to anyone who made a rebuy in this tournament. Please send me your username so I can get yours handled asap.

Thanks

Welcome to 888poker’s Weekly Deal, with all the best news, results and insights from the past week.

THIS WEEK: June 16, 2019

On Their Way to Vegas!

Final Five Players Qualify for 2019 WSOP Main Event

For the past several months, 888poker has hosted a $1,050 “WSOP 2019 Main Event Package Qualifier” every Sunday, which has resulted in dozens of players winning their way into poker’s most prestigious tournament. One player to do so was 2014 WSOP champ and 888poker Ambassador Martin Jacobson.

The packages, valued at $12,600, include six nights (July 4-10, 2019) at the luxurious Vdara Hotel in Las Vegas, a $10,000 WSOP Main Event buy-in, $1,000 for travel and expenses (paid directly to your 888poker account), and an invite to a welcome party at the Vdara Hotel.

This week’s qualifier attracted 68 players who rebought six times, which created a $74,000 prize pool. That meant five players would win WSOP packages while three others would secure some money. Here’s a look at those who claimed a prize.

That wraps up 888poker’s last 2019 WSOP Main Event qualifier. We’ll see everyone in Las Vegas next month for the Big One!

Russia’s “sekta14” Wins Sunday Sale Mega Deep for $20K

The $109 buy-in Sunday Sale Mega Deep offered a $100,000 GTD, which it surpassed by attracting 854 players who rebought 249 times. That resulted in a $110,300 prize pool distributed to the top 108 players including “Perrymejsen” (98th - $242.66), “DR.Lorax” (63rd - $330.90), “alexos888” (44th - $408.11), “jadedjason” (15th - $970.64), “Multilift” (7th - $3,474.45), and “gkareckas” (4th - $8,051.90).

After “TattiTope” bowed out in third place for $10,754.25, the title came down to Macedonia’s “NZhero007” and Russia’s “sekta14.” It took 11 hours and 22 minutes but eventually the Russian prevailed to take down the tournament to the tune of $19,964.30.

New Zealand’s “villagelife” Wins a Sale of a Whale

The $320 buy-in Sunday Sale Whale saw 96 players rebuy 24 times to surpass the $30,000 guarantee by generating a $36,000 prize pool. Just the top 12 got paid including “DuduPa1986” (12th - $900), “KURDEdersim” (10th - $900), “zoobanana” (7th - $1,530), and “Mr.Fonzi” (3rd - $5,040).

After 6 hours and 21 minutes it was New Zealand’s “villagelife” besting Russia’s “Lucky_Frutti” in heads-up play to win the $9,900 top prize.

“KKurbel” Captures Sunday Deepstack Monsoon Title

The $55 buy-in Sunday Deepstack Monsoon attracted 147 players who rebought 50 times, which meant a $10,000 prize pool was up for grabs. Among the top 27 players to get a piece of it were “GramNaKartke” (22nd - $100), “guydeet39” (16th - $125), “PiktasVilkas” (12th - $174), “TigerNoTilt” (5th - $600), and “sweet_dr34ms” (3rd - $1,175).

After nine hours in the tournament, it was “KKurbel” besting “sagsibo” in heads-up play to win the title and accompanying $2,150 first-place prize.

Sunday Challenge Ends in Four-Way Deal

The $55 buy-in, $20K GTD Sunday Challenge crushed its guarantee by drawing 494 players who rebought 149 times. That resulted in a $32,150 prize pool paid out to the top 36 players including “cherrywine” (48th - $151.10), “Merfinis” (39th - $160.75), “KToFTW” (26th - $192.90), “_DENGER_” (13th - $321.50), “supari69” (7th - $1,044.87), and “gkareckas” (5th - $1,768.25).

The final four players worked a deal and then played it out for the title, and while “ajaxsucks” won the most money with $4,229.42, it was Russia’s “MaxChe” finishing as the last player standing for the title and $4,119.74 in prize money.

Thanks!!

Looks like Hordiko is a new account of Uskebasi_1 (banned last year).

Huge winrate (20bb+), same stats and limits.

Possibly we need an investigation.

If somebody could confirm or deny my suspicions, it'd be great.

These messages come up on my tables and you can’t get rid of them. They block players names, stacks and cards. Really annoying me now!
