Welcome to 888poker’s Weekly Deal, with all the best news, results and insights from the past week.
THIS WEEK: February 17, 2019
For the second time this year, we at 888poker offered a “RakeLESS Sunday,” which meant a full slate of online tournaments with no rake! Players must have loved it as they turned out in droves to compete for big, rake-free prize pools.

The $200 buy-in RakeLESS Sunday Mega Deep easily surpassed its $100K guarantee by attracting 507 players who rebought 225 times. That created a $146,400 prize pool distributed to the top 72 players including Christopher “NigDawG” Brammer (65th - $483.12), Sam “sammygrinder” Grafton (54th - $585.60), “PiktasVilkas” (21st - $878.40), “SchruteFarms” (11th - $1,756.80), “Prof_Plum” (5th - $7,905.60), and “SkallePer58” (3rd - $14,932.80).
After 12 hours 16 minutes, “Rihard4a” defeated “kudesnik2012” in heads-up play to win the title and $27,669.60 first-place prize, after he won his tournament ticket on a $22 satellite.
“CalmRevolver” Wins RakeLESS Sunday Main Event for $21,646
The $300 buy-in, $100K GTD RakeLESS Sunday Main Event saw 376 players take to the virtual felt, which meant a $112,800 prize pool was paid out to the top 54 spots.
