Sunday Mega Deep Ends in Three-Way Deal and “bomberman115” on Top

The $215 buy-in Sunday Mega Deep always attracts the best of the best, and this week saw 282 runners take to the virtual felt and compete for a share of a $100,000 prize pool. Among the top 40 to get paid were “PBD03” (29th - $670), “PokerFactor” (17th - $1,000), “asolisbri” (11th - $2,000), “Ronaldo4112” (4th - $5,500), and “infaust992” (4th - $8,000).

After 10 hours and 21 minutes, the tournament ended in a three-way deal with Lithuania’s “bomberman115” taking the title and $17,448 in prize money. Meanwhile, Russia’s “EyeofSkadi” and Germany’s “bossamtisch1” took $14,151 and $13,400 for finishing second and third respectively.

You might remember that back in September “bomberman115” took down the $15,000 Mega Deep for $4,715.

Swedes Battle It Out for Whale Title

The $1,050 buy-in Whale attracted 33 runners who rebought 13 times, which meant a $50,000 prize pool was on tap. Among those to compete for it but fall short of cashing were 888poker Ambassador Dominik “888Dominik” Nitsche, “TrollKonst,” and bubble boy Mike “Pipedream17” Dietrich.

Among those to cash were “Hateeeeem” (5th - $4,000), Niklas “tutten7” Åstedt (4th - $5,000), and “IHaveNoBoss” (3rd - $7,500). The final two was comprised of a pair of Swedes, and after 4 hours and 26 minutes, “SalsaFiesta” bested Fredrik “freddeaik11” Björklund to win the title and $20,000 top prize.

Ukraine’s “kazan4ik” Wins Mini Mega Deep Turning $22 Into $4,518 Payday

The $22 buy-in, $20K GTD Mini Mega Deep saw 893 players rebuy 362 times to create a $25,100 prize pool. Among the top 117 players to cash were “Mindcrushers” (100th - $52.71), “poker_oh” (57th - $72.79), “YG_Poker” (21st - $115.46), “Kurple” (15th - $213.35), “wacko90” (6th - $1,014), and “LizzyAlecia” (4th - $1,820).

After “mo3ok911” bowed out in third place for $2,435, the title came down to Ukraine’s “kazan4ik” and Russia’s “stealwave888.” The tournament came to an end 8 hours and 42 minutes in with the Ukrainian emerging victorious for $4,518.

Malta’s “KToFTW” Takes Down Sunday Deepstack Monsoon

The $55 buy-in, $10,000 GTD Sunday Deepstack Monsoon drew 197 players who rebought 49 times. That created a $12,300 prize pool that was paid out to the top 27 players including “GramNaKartke” (23rd - $123), “RazvyB” (12th - $215.25), “JNSP77” (6th - $615), and “Duckface01” (3rd - $1,445.25).

After 9 hours and 17 minutes, Malta’s “KToFTW” bested XL Eclipse runner-up “futomaki123” in heads-up play to win the title and $2,644.50 first-place prize. It marked “KToFTW’s” first win on 888poker since the August 3 $10,000 Monsoon, which he won for $2,300.

A Brazilian Monsoon Results in Two Big Winners

The $55 buy-in Monsoon easily surpassed its $10,000 GTD by drawing 227 players who rebought 76 times, which created a $15,150 prize pool. Among the top 36 players to finish in the money were “popsnpoker” (18th - $166.65), “DR.Lorax” (7th - $530.25), “Dablinov” (5th - $878.70), and “SurgeonV” (3rd - $1,711.95).

After 6 hours and 50 minutes, the final two players, who happened to be Brazilian, struck a deal and then played to a winner. In the end, Caio “CVriserio” Risério won it for $2,654 while “NowickiGalo” took second, albeit for more money to the tune of $2,716.

888poker has closed account and my money is not excessible.
I sent a email stating "if they are not going to do rake back" I will close account.

Well they instantly closed it and now my money is not excessibe, waiting for there reply. Whats chances getting money back.
It was about 445 usd which is about 5-6 hundred Canadian OUCH!!

That's bull****, they new money was in there, anyone else had problems, and any input on how to get back if possible?

Hope this is right format.
I asked 888poker that if rake was not going to be offered on site that I was going to close account.

Immediately my account is closed and no access to the 445 dollars aprox, that's was left in there.

I guess my money is gone, that's a lot of money for me, its 5-6 hundred dollars Canadian.

This is bull**** they would do that with contacting and getting money out.

Anyone have other issues like this, any pointers how to get funds back?

I wouldn't guess that.

Ask them to send you your funds.

Ive threatened to close my WSOPnj account in the chat over bonuses and minutes later it was closed. They make you jump through a couple hoops, but you can get it back. I asked them why they close it for a mere threat and they explained that it protects them fully if for some reason you wanted to sue them and claimed you tried to self ban yourself and they didn't do it.

I've also simply asked " How do I close my account" when complaining about bonuses and seconds later it was closed.

So I'm pretty sure there is some fine print somewhere that says if you even hint at closing your account , they do.

Poker user name please?

I have not played poker in 9 months and decided to re install 888 and Party to see if things have improved and I am amazed that 888 has got worse and Party has stood still. Still no chat bubbles on Party and 888 has major software glitches which 888 is trying to disguise rather than fix permanently. When I log in I get clog file again and now a debug file and something pops up and disappears every time I log in or close a table.

This does not inspire confidence in your site and as 888 has got worse and Party has stood still, I am not gonna bother depositing on either site.

I've been chosen by 888 overlords to beta test the new client! Will installing overwrite the current version or keep both?

I was chosen to test the Beta Version. I play at the SNAP Tables and the new layout is horrible. Please don't change the layout, as I really don't like it.

What do you think guys who tested it?

Please keep the old version as it is pretty okay, or let the players chose which version they want to play at.

Screenshots? If not, what do you mean by new layout? Seats have moved? And is it only for snap or for every type of table?

new software is just a reskin of layout, nothing changes and nothing new, mb new buy-in option is good, will see.
Just look how PartyPoker has upgraded their client and do something like that.

you guys gotta give it a chance before you start complaining! I'm pretty sure you will be able to play casino games in the chat window of the poker table. That's a pretty cool poker feature

new software is new table layouts (note: they did send beta client with had only new cash game layout in it, no new lobby or tournaments tables) what is bit sharper with some unibet/mgn type avatars (way smaller compared to theses rooms). IMO improvement from old version.

Time countdown/timebank is reducing bright line around avatar. Overall looks good.

IMO best thing what is improved is that note taking window is easier to use/can be used on several players in same time and can be moved around (now it total brick window what can't be moved around and you need close it to play hand).
