If WSOP continues to struggle where do you suggest playing? Stars has volume. Is partypoker or borgota good for cash games? I've only really played on stars and WSOP/888

I'd prefer to leave wsop if the HUD stuff doesn't get sorted out

Pokerstars has better software and rakeback. Although I personally like the card back and animation from Borgata/Party better.

On WSOP the software freezes every time I try to geolocate and then it times out eventually. Havent been able to play there since the update.

Yep, best rakeback out of the 3 sites, especially when the reload bonus comes around.

I was under impression that Stars comps werent that good? Can you tell me about what the equivalent comps would be for someone who earns 5k WSOP APPs a month?

You can get 24-27% base by getting equivalent of Diamond (2.4kish? On WSOP) and requesting PS staff to upgrade you to supernova as the current VIP tier is broken past Platinum. After you add in the frequent card hunt promos, you get around 30%-35%. With reloads, you can see another 27-33% on top of that.

On WSOP you only get like 15% base with 20% perpetual reload bonus. WSOP might be same/better only after hitting 50k points in the year.


Oh and you also pay slightly less rake at lower levels as it's 5% capped at $3 instead of 5.5% capped at 3. But WSOP rake cap is much better for HU and 3 handed play. So really depends on what you play.

Thanks for the info, that's definitely a pretty big spread and I feel a bit shafted. Looks like Ill do a PS deposit due to more than just no HHs at WSOP.

I was planning on hitting Aspirations 1 and taking the Atlantis trip, Illl have Diamond at end of April. I guess just take the lower tier trip instead. I really do like this aspect of Caesars/WSOP and will miss going for the higher level. Does PS offer anything like this? Free trips and tied into casino perk system is nice.

Just an fyi your only getting tier credits by playing on wsop. Your not getting the reward credits that usually go with them, so with getting to diamond status, your not going to get any of the offers that usually go with it.

If you got diamond solely through playing poker online, then you probably won't get offers based on your play. You still get the above.

You do not get reward credits for your online play, which is on the list. I was also told that my play on wsop would not qualify me for aspiration level trips either.

Granted I was told that over a year ago so possibly support didnt have a clue what was going on. I know you play on wsop so Im curious if you've gotten these trips? I was told that without the rewards credits the tier credits basically get you to pass some lines ect.

You are correct that you do not earn reward credits for online poker play. You only earn tier credits.

But if you reach 40,000 tier credits you do get Diamond Aspiration level One and 80,000, Level 2. I've used the Level One before.

You can also go into diamond lounges with one guest for 10 comp dollars each or if you are diamond with at least 25,000 tier credits, then you can get into the lounges for free with one guest.

You also get the $100 diamond celebration dinner. I've used this before.

Discount at gift shop.

Free parking.

Priority lines, as you mentioned.

Resort fees waived on rooms.

I do not think you will get room offers for playing poker online, but if you reach the Aspirations Level, you get free rooms as part of that.

I did have some play in the casino, but most of it was online poker.

The diamond card is pretty neat for just 15k points. But yea you get no comped rooms or offers whatsoever.

Free valet, diamond dinner, & diamond lounge is nice place to hang and have a drink. I was going to hit Aspirations 1 this year, I definitely wont now. Borgata black label & BL Elite look easy enough to hit and comparable.

Also WSOP changed the cage cashout procedure. Now you need to initiate a withdraw online, takes ~24h to process and you get email notification, then you go to the cage and let them know. I dont know how many people were using it before w the phone system but that will be phased out for withdraws but okay for deposits.

Can somebody tell me if there's a difference between partypoker and borgata rakeback? I've been playing on borgata's skin and the rakeback/rewards are awful so far, it looks like it's pointless to buy anything from the store until you can make black label elite.
Does partypoker use the same system? I tried researching and it appears they don't call them iRewards like borgata. I was under the impression the 2 sites were exactly the same with different skins.

Borgata might as well not even have a cash offer, it's actually less than 5% rakeback for me right now, and will be right around 5% once I'm black label. it would be nice having a chance to get a better rakeback offer from them, the prices in the store for every label lower than BLE is outrageously bad.

I want to continue playing this site, but it's currently not worth it compared to the competition

888 and WSOP are not answering my support emails now. At this point, all I want to be able to do is to log on so I can cash the hell out, but I can't even do that.

Borgata has a promotion called "The Grind" every month that adds a good amount of rakeback. The best value for your points is getting $215 tournament tickets once you're earning 15,000 pts/quarter. If you can't earn 15k, then you're only getting slightly less by earning 2500/month and being the next rewards level down. In general, Borgata > party for rakeback.

Borgata poker has the most unfriendly tables ive been on, no one chats whatsoever. Regs ignore basic questions. Really miserable to play on here if you like table banter.

Still can't log on to 888 or WSOP. No updates from them. Just sayin'.

So my roommate can't login to his 888NJ account either thru pc or phone for past day or two. I can login into my account fine. It tells him unable to connect please contact member support or some bs. He has contacted support via email and no response. He got someone on the phone and they have been useless and didnt know what the heck he was talking about. Any ideas, how many others are having this issue?

I had the issue when I downloaded the wrong 888 client (their login page sometimes directed you to download the NV version). Support told me to download the NJ version and I was fine.

wsop software prompts me to go to wsop.com and dl new software and DL is failing (have a mac) Guess im not playing on wsop today?

I am in the same boat playing on a mac. went to log in and this popped up:

"The software you are currently using is out of date and needs to be updated. Please download the new software from www.wsop.com and enjoy the latest features. Your username, password and bankroll will not be affected."

coincidentally when I try to re-install the file is being read as corrupt....has this issue really been going on for weeks with no fix. ???

Similar stuff happening for me on both 888 and WSOP, on both mac and PC. Surprised the issue doesn't appear to be all that widespread.
