MuchBetter was supposed to send me their debit card over two months ago. It never came.

I wrote several support tickets, none of them got answered.

For now, I would definitely not recommend this app, their handling of business is extremely unprofessional.

I have told you on twitter before that you should not ask your customers to provide sensitive information like that in a semi public forum like this (even DMs).

How can you justify a 2% uncapped fee to withdraw to my GBP bank account when it costs you nothing? Any sort of uncapped fee for something as mainstream as a bank wire screams sketchiness to me.

He's not asking for your medical records, criminal history, or any "sensitive" information. He's asking for your assistance in identifying your account so he can fix the problem. He can't find the problem if you don't tell him which account is yours.

This shouldn't be a game of hide and seek. If you want MuchBetter to fix a problem with your problem, you obviously have to let MuchBetter know which account is yours. This should not be a controversial concept.

MuchBetter deals with BTC. Many people don't want any of their information associated with their bitcoin holdings, and for good reason. 2+2 has been hacked before, as you may well know.

I have sent them multiple messages directly in their app about the issue, how comes he needs my identification here if they could just, you know, get to it on there? It is NOT too much to ask of a company to reply to their support tickets within literal weeks.

First we do have associated cost and its far from being nothing. I do agree that we need to have a cap on it and will raise it internally

this is my primary concern as well, main reason i didn't push figuring out how to link my payment provider was no cap

especially with you guys working with union pay, basically all of china uses middle men to deposit on stars right now, getting much better to solve my problem could be big for you guys, especially if you cap it

sometime next few days i'll make another attempt at it and pm you my info if it doesn't work again

Hi,

I have requested a withdrawal from Pokerstars to my Muchbetter account (which was an option available in their client).

I got an email from Stars security team stating:

"Following a review of your recent withdrawal request, we require that you provide the following documentation:

A screenshot of your MUCHBETTER profile screen, ensuring that your name, email address and Account ID are visible. The image taken must be of the entire screen as the URL (the address of a web page on the internet) must be visible."

Since Muchbetter is a mobile app and doesnt have a desktop client I obviously couldnt send them what they wanted (web page address), but I sent screenshots from my phone with all my info.

After that I got an email saying:
"We're sorry we can't accept mobile screenshots.

If you only receive your statements online, take a screenshot of your statement from a desktop device and make sure it displays the page URL (the address of the web page).Your name, current address, account number, and date of issue (no older than 3 months) must also be clearly visible. We also accept PDF files.

We cannot accept bank statements from online banks such as Revolut, Monese, Monzo, Atom, N26, Pockit Ltd, etc."


So obviously they have no clue what Muchbetter app is or how it operates.

After about a 10 days and a couple of emails from me asking what the hell they want from me they send me this gem:

"Please send us copies of the following documents:


The most recent bank statement (no older than 3 months) for the card ending in [1********55]. Make sure the statement shows the cardholder's name, card number (with only the first 6 and the last 4 numbers visible), address, and issue date."


So thats great, except that 1***55 is actually my phone number...

Anyways, I understand that Pokerstars security team is absolutely incompetent and terrible at their jobs, but what can I actually do to get my money?

Is there anything Muchbetter can help me with in this situation?

It's okay, I am not expecting much from this company anymore. But as this is kind of a feedback thread, I want it to be known that this is by far the worst customer service I have ever come across - and I have had withdrawal issues at 888!

I am in this exact situation right now. Did it get resolved for you? I can’t believe how incompetent stars support has been. Also, I sent MuchBetter a message on their app 4 weeks ago asking for help and still no response.

Almost 1 month trying to cashout my money from muchbetter to my bank or crypto or whatever, but i cant, my funds are stuck and support doesnt reply, more than 10 mails without a reply. My account is verify and all that but muchbetter just doesnt let me withdraw my money.

what can i do? twitter support doesnt reply, i cant find a phone number, the only via to contact support is email but they dont even look them.
