Quite possibly; we have been experiencing some delays (not really surprising right?) and I have not made any secret of it. All players have got their funds although on occasions after a longer wait that anticipated.

Hi stonecoldjoker,

Drop me an email (neil@mintedpoker.com) with your screen name and I will see what can be done.

Why do I get the feeling this is a stitch up? Anyway here goes…. We quote 48 hours, but recently we have had some long delays and are at the point of catching up. We anticipate processing all cash outs within the quoted timeframes by the middle of next week.

Neil

On the question of getting rid of the dealer from the table view; IT are sorting this out and soon you will be allowed to click on the dealer and he/she will disappear.

I now have a few answers to the questions you have been asking.

Question - Have the option to always wait for the big blind instead of having to click wait for big blind Ans:The structure for handling blinds will completely change in the new software. When a player sits on the table, by default he will wait for the next big blind.
He can deactivate wait for big blind, if he doesn't wait for the big blind, the blinds will be posted automatically.

Question - Sit out at all tables/Sit out next BB at all tables Ans: Our client team will look into this and see if they can implement it in the new software.

Remember the new software is not due for release until Q3.

As I have more answers I'll let you know.

Regards
Neil

p.s. stonecoldjoker....not sure what you mean?

Is the funds handled by Everleaf? Or do the individual skins have the money? Cause I was under the assumption that when a skin uses Everleaf's processor, it is handled by Everleaf.

Thanks Neil.

Definitely nice to see Minted Poker and you taking all suggestions from 2p2 very seriously. Even if it isn't available until the new software, it is good to know that these will be implemented due to suggestions ITT.

Will the new software be Everleaf wide, or is it Minted Poker specific? Is it a completely new platform?

This is done automatically. Just sit down and play at the Euro tables. I do it all the time. From the US BTW.

Everleaf is licensed by the Malta Lottery and Gaming Authority. Malta Lottery and Gaming Gaming Authority requires player funds to be segregated. I'll try to find a link that shows this information.

Neil, correct me if I'm wrong but Everleaf/Minted Poker is required to have segregated player funds by law.

Everleaf handles the funds not the skins. Again, I'll try to find the links in regards to this and post them also if Neil doesn't.

Yeah your right about this. I know other sites have listed this about Malta requiring players funds to be segregated.

Right, I found the Part-time poker link right after you posted.

I was trying to find the information directly from Malta or Everleaf also. At any rate, they do keep player funds segregated as a requirement to be licensed.

Thanks for posting the links.

Edit: Found the Requirements from the Malta Lottery and Gaming Authority site. On the link below you have to click: Regulation - Remote Gaming Regulations, 2004

http://www.lga.org.mt/lga/content.aspx?id=87374

It will download a PDF of the Requirements for Remote Gaming. Under number 40 it says:

40. (1) A licensee shall keep players’ funds separately from
the licensee’s own funds in a Clients’ account held with a credit
institution approved by the Authority.
(2) (a) The funds in the players’ account, including funds in
transit or in the process of being cleared through the
banki n g s y s tem or by c r e d i t c a r d p r o c e s s ing
companies, shall at any time be at least equal to the
aggregate of the amount standing to the credit of
players’ accounts held by the licensee:
Provided that if the funds standing to the credit of the
clients’ accounts fall below the aggregate total of the
amounts standing to the credit of players’ accounts,
the licensee shall make good the shortfall from the
licensee’s own funds within a period of thirty days of
the end of the month in which the shortfall occurs.
(b) The Authority may, at its sole discretion, consider
funds held in other accounts belonging to or controlled
by the licensee to be included with funds in the clients’
accounts for the purpose of this regulation.

Ok found the link about players funds on the lotteries and gaming authority of Malta.

Here is the link:

http://www.lga.org.mt/lga/content.aspx?id=247518

here is section 13 of the FAQ:

13) How are player funds protected?

Player funds are protected since:
a Client's account is set up by the licensee, which account is held with a credit institution approved by the Authority and is separate from the licensee's own funds;
the Client's account cannot be used to rectify/indemnify any of the licensee's financial problems since such account is distinct from the licensee;
the Authority may request the licensee to issue a bank guarantee in the Authority's favour in order to protect the players' funds;
the credit institution is to disclose any information requested by the Authority regarding players' accounts;
the licensee cannot deal with the amount of money in the player's account except in the circumstances established in the Regulations;
if a player's account is dormant for thirty (30) months, the licensee is to try to contact the player to refund the remaining balance and if not successful shall transfer the money to the Authority;
upon the player's request, his funds will be returned to the account from which they were originally withdrawn within five (5) working days or within a period of time which is reasonably necessary to verify certain details and activities of the player's account as established in the Regulations.

Awesome I found the FAQ but either way that is great. This means that our funds should be really secure. At least I won't have some UB/AP mess on my hands in the event the DOJ decides to go after Everleaf.

Definitely a good sign. Let's hope we never have to worry about the DOJ on Everleaf

Hi Stonecoldjoker,

Every question asked on here has been accurately answered however I wanted to confirm on this very important point.

Under our Maltese licence we are required to hold all player funds in segregated accounts meaning we are not allowed to use your player funds for any purpose.

I would like to thank you all for helping answer other player’s questions; it has been noted and is appreciated.

Regards
Neil

I just wanted to tell you all what Neil did for me last week.

I had a problem making a WU deposit, and was a little frustrated because every time I tried, I had to wait for the operations department to get in. Neil took it upon himself to advance me 100 of the WU deposit that I was trying to make so that I was able to hit the tables before operations worked it out.
Thanks Neil!
P.S. I didn't want to tell them about the other part unless it was ok with you.
