The $50 VIP Reward Bonus has been reduced in price from 5,000 FPPs to 4,500 FPPs.

The $285 VIP Reward Bonus is now a $300 VIP Reward Bonus, for the same price of 25,000 FPPs.
I would buy the $25 bonus if I didn't need to earn 175VPP to clear it.

I would buy the $50 bonus if I could make SilverStar, which I can't because it requires 750VPP in one month to get there.

I would buy the $300 bonus but it's going to take me decades to earn a total of 25,000FPP and even if I get there, I need to be GoldStar to buy it, which will never happen because I would need to earn 3000VPP in one month to get there.

On the other hand, I did get a $6 instant cash credit. PokerStars, thanks for (almost) nothing again.

the 2x FPP week they had in 07(maybe 08) i ended up getting like 100k fpps. This would be a great promotion to get FTP users to come over to stars. As everyone would be grinding their pants off

Not a worthwhile promo.
They just drastically raised the rake on the micro games.

When is the next redeposit bonus?

- I play the micros and 175VPP is pretty easily earned in a few days.

- 6 cheeseburgers is looking tempting these days.

Steve,

I heard the changes to the 180's and not such a big fan. Would support an option in the VIP Store that would allow all the fish in the 180's to directly transfer me their balance and save us all the trouble. Stars can rake the transfer as well.

QFT. This promotion is a farce.

6$ wow like wow. What a super promotion. Would it really be too much to offer something like at least a 100$ at a rate of 0.016. Also happy hour of double VPP at the time of day when player numbers are at their lowest would really be nice. I dont think that is too much to ask. And the fact that you have to clear the cash rewards is stupid. They are not like the sign up or reload bonuses. They are rakeback. Rakeback should come without any strings attached like the stellar rewards.

It's pretty likely they planned on giving the promo to limit players from the get go which is why it was introduced before July 1st so they can't complain about not getting a full month. Atleast that's what I would do to rebuild trust.

With the weekly freerolls, $50-added, $100-added, added seats to target tournies, the weekly 30k for silverstar+, they are giving something like $5,000 away daily(conservative guess). Just saying, this should be looked at and reconsidered. If it is serving its purpose, all is well. But, I have a feeling all these "little" incentives and giveaways, because of Pokerstars current size, is a lot, lot more then we realize. It just doesnt feel like it, because not everyone is taking advantage of everything(mostly rightly so). So the problem shouldnt be barking at a $6 cash credit, but kindly requesting the powers that be to re-evaluate their daily allocated giveaways that they may not really pay attention to. For the same reason giving everyone $6 bucks is more then you think, having an x amount that you dump into the nano-games is more then you think as well. We should request a reconstruction of daily givebacks before giving a generous $6 giveback the middle finger.

I'd rather have the old rake system for the micros than this one month gimmicky crap.

Sounds like a mark-up/mark-down "sale", with the sale designed to minimize the immediate microstakes player exodus. It's amazing to me that a little over one year ago Stars could do no wrong and now it's just one bad decision after another. Never thought I'd see that.

agreed

If they hadn't raised the rake this promotion wouldn't exist. They cater to shortstackers and have increased the rake at micros dramatically which hurts us all. I'm sorry if rewarding more VPPs to people who don't care about rake back does not excite me.

I'm guessing a lot of $25NL grinders will move down to $10NL for the month and play more tables to try to maintain the same win rate while getting more fpps. I'd imagine the $10 games will be filled with nits and the $25 games will get easier.

I'm surprised no one has brought this up, but Stars puts $25NL in the "micro" category but doesn't extend the promotion to this level. This is annoying but they obviously figured they couldn't afford it.

There's nothing obvious about that conclusion at all and I'm pretty sure it's completely wrong.

I like promotions targeted at the bottom of the food chain

stars is usually too top heavy, it's nice to see something different even if it doesn't directly benefit me

You do know that there is more than one timezone in the world? Still it would probably attract more grinders than fish.
