So is this a UseMyWallet issue or a U.S. bank issue?

Regardless of what happens I think I'll be staying away from online poker until everything gets sorted out, the whole process from carbon to now was just hell

I heard of some people's going through on different threads. I wonder if this is an issue with getting the money to one specific bank that we all have or some other issue. Just weird that others have received wires in the last couple days, but ours are delayed.

Sending them your CC number isn't risky. They just want to verify you are who you said you were. It's standard on every site you play on now days.

So ur not worried about what happens with your CC if the US gouvernment decides to take all data from that network, too? Or if some hackers decide to get thousands of CC numbers by hacking the site to move to thailand and spend ur money on crack and bitches?

Just got this email from them. Is it just me or are they starting to sound just like Full Tilt

I'm not, I have credit card protection/fraud alert that I can stop all purchases that I don't make.

So would it be safer/faster to withdrawal via check or UseMyWallet?

i am in the US and requested a withdrawal from Carbon via Click2Pay on 5/15. that was the only electronic option available aside from UseMyWallet which i don't think i can use because i don't have an account there (and could not find anywhere to sign up for one). i received the email below today (2 days after requesting the withdrawal) saying my request was denied.

i like how they don't even bother to offer a reason! live chat support is offline today of course. i emailed them, and then requested a check withdrawal instead. approval on that is now pending.

are there any electronic withdrawal methods available to US players? i'm not sure what they mean by "Cash Transfer" because that is not listed as an option anywhere on my withdrawal page.

has anyone in the US requested and received a check from Carbon post-April 15?

i'm happy to play on Carbon if i can actually get money off there. but if there is no legitimate way to withdraw funds it seems like a waste of time.

No idea on the UMW, but I requested a check cashout on RPM back on May 1st or 2nd... still "pending approval. They already have my ID verification, so that's not the holdup.

I just noticed that UMW/QT is no longer a deposit or withdrawal option at Carbon.

This happens right after UMW informs me that my withdrawal to my bank account failed, and that the funds will be returned to my UMW account.

I don't know what to do now. I can't cashout the UMW funds to my bank account, nor can I deposit the funds into my Carbon account and cashout via check.

Do any other merge sites currently have UMW as a deposit option?

Wow, that's so unlike Carbon.

Have you tried to PM one of their 2+2 reps? Oh, don't bother they won't respond.

Give your business to sites/skins that actually care, (RPM, Hero, Everleaf, Minted Poker). Don't go with skins that don't care, (skins like Carbon are bad for the industry).

You can't fake being a good business and you can't fake good customer service.

Say goodbye to Carbon and Hello to one of the others.

So, I deposited with WU but am withdrawing via check. They asked me to first verify my identity and want credit card info (the card i used) and a bank statement from that credit card (verify my address?). However, I never used a CC card so why should I be giving them a random number that won't even be in there database?

Anyone else withdrawing under a similar circumstance? What'd you do? Send them CC info and a card statement to match?
05-17-2011 , 10:15 PM
To be honest I think these third parties are going to take our money and they know there's not a thing we can do about it. Honestly what could you do if they decided not to give you your money? Has anybody recieved any money from merge via check in the past week. I've herd some people here and there but nothing really consistent.Western Union seems to be the only way to transfer money to them and you have to jump through hoops to get it to them. What about the withdraw process? What does it take for them to get the money to us? I'm not trying to be negative but my thought process is being reinforced everytime I read a thread about withdraws. Don't get my wrong I'm still grinding away lol but I think it's about time for me to take a step back and assess this situation.

FYI. F%$@ ABSOLUTE I pray that God gives me the opportunity to run into one of them in public

If you didn't use a CC to deposit with you just leave that blank on the verification form.
