If you have an existing Merge account, email clientservices@mergegaming.eu, from your email address registered with Hero Poker, and ask that your funds be transferred to your existing Merge account.

Although I have not yet been able to ascertain exactly why, I have been able to confirm that there is some sort of pending legal issue in the Netherlands. Which, as you know, is what is holding up your situation.

If I can wrangle some more in depth information out of someone, I will try to update here.

Hello 2+2! Is it possible to trasnfer money from onfire poker room to my carbon account? Money are just stuck there and I cant do anything with em
Can I still wirte to merge support like in Hero poker example? Many thanks.

I recently switched from Players Only to Poker Host, as I had. Two Max withdraws take 11 and 12 weeks respectively. Was just curious to see if there are any Player Only players getting speedier withdraws at this point? Thanks in advance.

No, that is not possible. Not unless the room (which I am unaware of) is purchased by someone (certain circumstances) or goes out of business (and was on the network cashier) will you be able to move the funds.

You want to look in this thread, which deals with the Jazette cashieir, which Players Only is a part of:

Im in the united states and not in Vegas either...I heard that u.s players can play on carbon but that it's a pain in the ass to load money and even tougher to get it back off..can anyone shed some light on this?thanks

I don't think depositing is as tough as it sounds. I have a few friends who recently started playing and didn't have too much trouble depositing at all.

As far as withdrawing, timely cashouts come and go; there were some cashout issues for awhile there that seem to be clearing up now. You might want to check out the Carbon withdrawal thread and read through the last couple of pages to get a feel for it yourself:

there seems to be less traffic in this thread than there used to be. think its a fair assumption that less and less people are playing here now that the other networks/sites are paying fast and they're not getting on board? it seems bovadas traffic has increased at the same time that posts in this thread had begun to dwindle. kinda feels like theres a trend of players moving from merge to faster sites atm.

That's not why this thread has died down. This thread died down when the Merge network went from a pile of skins to basically just Carbon, so most of the "Merge network" discussion has migrated to Carbon threads, like the one I linked in my last post.

Traffic holding steady @ 23,000 rated players last 4 months on site per OPR. Just sayin...

Merge has slipped to 20th on PokerScout's worldwide Online Poker Traffic Report, down 40% in the last 6 months.

Bodog/Bovado is 11th, the top US available site.

just to confirm: the consensus best merge skin is pokerhost???

No.

But it serves a valid spot in the market, and thus, for some players, is the best spot. For others, it is not.

Reaching a consensus on 2+2 would be impossible.

How about just your opinion? What's the best site on merge from a mtt/hu grinders perspective? A tad bit of reasoning would be great. I'm Looking to depo and looking for the best spot open up shop.

From what little research I've done it seems acr and other winning skins have better cash out times and a lot cheaper rake. But merge has the best software and Mtt traffic. So since the mtt player merge is were its at. And other games grind winning.

Anything to take away or add to this?

To get back to the best of merge question.

If host offers fast cash outs phone support and player 2 player transfers. How could they not be the best? It's my understanding that all skins share the same player pool and Mtts (except don't promo mtts) and no other skins offer fast cash outs, phone support or p2p.

Are u saying that's host is not the best for Americans unless you play for fun and don't need your money when you want it?

I am saying that PokerHost is the best choice for some players and not others. It all depends on what you as a player value most. Since I do not know what you as a player value most, it is difficult to answer.

Of the things you have listed there are caveats that you may not be aware of that may change your opinion. Now that you've provided me material to work with, I will gladly answer:

Until recently PokerHost offered 100% of the tournaments (non-promo) offered by the Merge Gaming Network. Recently they have pulled some due to overlays. I have personally spoken to them about this and will continue to. The $215 high roller and $109 10k deep have been added back for starters. I've presented other events to them this week and should have word back soon.

For HUSNG all games are offered.

They do not have better cashout times than PokerHost. They do have better cashout times than skins on the network cashiers such as Carbon and Aced.

For the overwhelming majority of players, WPN does not have cheaper effective rake when one factors in "The Beast" and BBJ drop.

Merge does have the most MTT guarantees and tournaments in the US market and the best software (consensus opinion, mine also).

Winning for cash depends on what you play. There is virtually no liquidity outside of NLHE and PLO.

One might choose Carbon/Aced over PokerHost because:

1) Carbon/Aced is the longest standing skin on the network, used to own the network, and has close ties to the network.

2) Has a significantly larger promo budget.

3) Has 100% of the MTT schedule, cash games, etc offered by Merge Gaming (and as Merge's flagship brand, purports that it always will).

4) Cheaper/Free withdrawals

** Also of note, PokerHost's P2P is not wide open and comes with significant restrictions when trading with random trading partners.

There are certain ways around these restrictions, but not with random players... these rules will always apply.

There is no "best place for Americans." It is highly subjective. Insofar as the rest of that sentence... seriously... stop putting words into my mouth that in no way relate to anything that I've said. Thanks.

Thus, in conclusion, I feel that some people are better off on Carbon/Aced, others on PokerHost and still others on completely different networks. It depends on the player and if anyone wishes to discuss it further, feel free to make a thread and point me to it via PM, look me up for a chat, etc.

I apologize for this part of my post. It was childish and in poor taste. Khan was more than helpful in his response via pm and he didn't have to be.

So ya my bad brah.

New players only have access to WU/MG. There are at least 3 other methods of withdrawal (not counting possible p2p) but they are made available as a player is proven a good customer. Checks are the first option to open up and can come relatively quickly for good players, thus, I will give information on that now as well:

MG tends to come in 3 days, $560 max, fee is ~ 11%

WU tends to come in 4 days, $850 max, fee is ~9%

Checks tend to come in 5 days, $3k max, fee was recently reduced from $170 to $85!!

** Business days
