Pretty sure one would get the price when it's sent. Have seen posts in all payout threads of folks c/o site delaying cash out, until BTC price is favorable to site.

I just did a withdrawal and the price was locked in several days after I initiated the withdrawal. Which turned out okay since bitcoin was crashing. I still lost money, but not as much as if it had been locked exactly when I initiated the WD...

Nonetheless, that could be a problem too.

As far as I remember you are not locked into anything when they do BTC wds unless they changed the policy over the past year.

I think before if you requested a 1k cashout via BTC you got 1k when they processed it.

Every site I have ever played on does it this way. You will never get the value when you initiate a WD. Whatever the market rate is when it is processed is what you get

Can anyone tell me how long it usually takes for Carbon staff to verify documents for withdrawal (bank info not included).

TIA

Received a confirmation email from Carbon support today that confirmed my documents were certified and my eligibility for withdrawal. (less than 24 hours after I sent the docs in)

Request a bitcoin withdrawal for 1k today (February 8th) at 3:55 p.m. Going from Carbon -> Trezor -> Coinbase -> Bank account.

Will update going forward.

I've heard tell of problems with coinbase receiving withdrawals from online gambling sites.

And also, with deposits.

I've done over a dozen deposits on ACR from Coinbase over the last year w/o issue.

Can anyone confirm these problems, or whether they only happen with withdrawals?

And are transfers to/from Merge more problematic than with ACR?

Per UIGEA, it's against U.S. law for financial institutions to send/receive funds to/from gambling sites. So if/when it is determined this is happening, one's Coinbase account is subject to closure. There are posts on all payout threads in this forum, by folks who have had their accounts closed, because of such behavior. Hence, the recommendation of using a middle (buffer) wallet between exchanges and sites.

Ok, thanks.

I assume this means extra fees for two extra transactions? The rake starts to get heavy.

I had questions regarding my cashouts from Carbon through bitcoin and coinbase. There is all this talk about Coinbase shutting down your account when processing transactions from gambling sites so I want to avoid this. Another post on twoplustwo suggested using gdax as an intermediary and that they had not experienced any issues. I understand gdax and coinbase are connected so that is my concern. Here is my process:

Request withdrawal from Carbon via bitcoin to be sent to GDAX
Then GDAX to Coinbase
And Coinbase to bank account

Do I need to be concerned at all? So far have requested and received 7 withdrawals this year so far. I am depositing and withdrawing funds on a weekly basis to take advantage of the reload bonuses Carbon offers.

Since they're the same company, I'd assume you'd have the same risk.

What you should be doing is withdrawing from carbon to a personal wallet, then to Coinbase, then to your bank. That way they have no idea that it came from Carbon.

I just did this for a deposit from Coinbase->GDAX->Electrum->Ignition poker. The fees are a 'beech' though from Electrum->Ignition (very cheap from GDAX->Electrum).

electrum.org

Electrum is not the most user-friendly wallet; but I'm a techno-geek, so it worked for me. You might want to explore some others (there are Android/iOS apps for a bunch of them).

You can adjust your fee from Electrum when sending by using the bar in the middle of the fee. My bar was set at 5 blocks/39 cents on a transfer to Bitpay card. I moved the it to the right increasing the fee to 49 cents and funds were instantly available on card. My addresses start with a 1 though, not a 3.

I'm sure what Im looking for is somewhere in this thread but I can't find it. Will someone please tell me how to open up the option to wd using bitcoin. I see it in the withdrawal menu but it is not an option for me use. I havent played on Merge since their wd options were only check or wire transfer but I checked my account and discovered that I do still have some cash in it. I dont have current bank docs verified. Could that be why its not an option for me? Do I need to make a deposit using Bitcoin or something? TY for anyone that can help me out w this
edit: nm I found the answers i was looking for on the page right before this one. lol
