eh, you know things have gone south when a 6 week payout is considered good. there are so many things that would make me nervous about playing on carbon. there is an alarming lack of transparency with their decisions, they demonstrably sacrifice their customer's needs for their own (re: cashout methods), they relentlessly manipulate the market to their own well-being with no concern for the customers (re: table limiting... ironically excessive market manipulation very likely works to their detriment. who wants to play on a site that whimsically adjusts how many tables you're allowed to play?). it's truly an incredibly poorly run company, both ethically and logistically. they should be ashamed and broke.
I am not necessarily for a pure free market economy (clearly some amount of socialism is desirable - esp as computer automation etc increases), so I don't think we should necessarily value a system that succeeds in a free market economy (e.g. rockefellerian monopoly KILLED in free market but is not socially desirable..and whoa i'm drunk and getting off topic), but poker sites have such little overhead/barriers to entry/regulation/and so on, that success in a free market is probably fairly indicative of how desirable that business model is... and merge is getting decimated by chico/WPN/bovada. my suspicion is that a large % of merge customers have already migrated to other sites. they currently have half the average volume of chico/WPN after being on the same footing, what, 6 months ago? in addition to the blatant red flags they themselves are raising, that itself should also be a huge red flag. I don't think i should be saying this as i'm still concerned about my own well-being, but i feel i have a moral obligation to encourage you not to deposit on merge. I hope you instead buy some badass drone that you fly around your apartment and somehow use that to get laid because obviously i know how to get laid. good luck.
