Have you bet on sports in the last 46 days?

I've bet on sports in the last 45 hours much less the last 45 days and had bitcoin disabled.. Also bet on sports for a year but still got turned down for a bankwire option about 20 times... They finally gave it to me after giving bitcoin the axe though. My guess is that's it not that black and white and like most things on the site are done without rhyme or reason and mainly a result of chance and incompetent management

i think almost everyone in this thread can agree merge regularly implements policies that hurt their customers who primarily play poker.

i think we can also agree that the theory that merge's cash flow is now backed by BTC is near the bottom of logical hypothesis'.

I think the point was Merge is so pathetic they could actually be holding on to a nice little chunk of bitcoins, after realizing their holdings have been appreciating in value as of late. It's important to remember we're talking about Merge; don't put anything past them.

eh, you know things have gone south when a 6 week payout is considered good. there are so many things that would make me nervous about playing on carbon. there is an alarming lack of transparency with their decisions, they demonstrably sacrifice their customer's needs for their own (re: cashout methods), they relentlessly manipulate the market to their own well-being with no concern for the customers (re: table limiting... ironically excessive market manipulation very likely works to their detriment. who wants to play on a site that whimsically adjusts how many tables you're allowed to play?). it's truly an incredibly poorly run company, both ethically and logistically. they should be ashamed and broke.

I am not necessarily for a pure free market economy (clearly some amount of socialism is desirable - esp as computer automation etc increases), so I don't think we should necessarily value a system that succeeds in a free market economy (e.g. rockefellerian monopoly KILLED in free market but is not socially desirable..and whoa i'm drunk and getting off topic), but poker sites have such little overhead/barriers to entry/regulation/and so on, that success in a free market is probably fairly indicative of how desirable that business model is... and merge is getting decimated by chico/WPN/bovada. my suspicion is that a large % of merge customers have already migrated to other sites. they currently have half the average volume of chico/WPN after being on the same footing, what, 6 months ago? in addition to the blatant red flags they themselves are raising, that itself should also be a huge red flag. I don't think i should be saying this as i'm still concerned about my own well-being, but i feel i have a moral obligation to encourage you not to deposit on merge. I hope you instead buy some badass drone that you fly around your apartment and somehow use that to get laid because obviously i know how to get laid. good luck.

I agree with everything in your first paragraph. I'm worried that a large part of the mismanagement could be because they are, in fact, broke/insolvent. I certainly hope that's not true.

I also agree that regardless of whether they are solvent, people should be discouraged from depositing. Even if we receive our money eventually, customers should not be treated like this, and half-year (possibly multi-year for large enough accounts) withdrawal times are not acceptable.

The problem with U.S. poker right now is that half-assed regulation is worse than no regulation. You drive out the good companies who don't want to deal with it, and bring in scummy companies with anonymous owners who nobody knows anything about. Same thing is happening in the bitcoin/cryptocurrency space. If someone wants to protect players interest, you either need competent regulation or not to scare off the "respectable" (at least well known/solvent) companies with bull**** like UIGEA. No one in their right mind would take 2015 U.S. poker companies over 2006 U.S. poker companies.

Totally agree. I got my money off but I've warned others against depositing. ******ed idea until they get their **** together....and I'm of the opinion that they have the money and they have processor issues.

If you are of the opinion they have the money and processor issues why would they get rid of the bitcoin options that would alleviate the processor issues?

I was an avid sports bettor on the site and never helped my WD's. not much of a casino player except like to play 20-40cent spins on autoply in the jackpot slots occasionally. I did manage to win 3k on roulette in their live casino. Then lost G back next night and then live casino dissappeared for me. If you are losing and depositing regularly I could imagine that they would qualify for special treatment.

WPN also suspended BTC withdrawals on friday.

Could be a total coincidence or something else.

BTC transactions are not as simple as they would appear.

BTC are easy they might be running into problems trying to buy the amount that are being requested...once they have the bitcoins it is very easy which is y i dont understand y the wouldnt allow deposits with it also. have someone deposit with bitcoins and turn around and ship those bitcoins right back out to someone waiting for a withdraw. the way they are currently doing it they have to keep buying and buying and buying

After Bitcoin was canceled I made check w/draw request. They said it would be prioritized.
In progress: 11/2 max
New request: 11/2 max

The day they canceled my Bitcoin, I wrote email to both Antigua and Carbon.
I'm writing them again now that I see others got Bitcoin again.
still have 9.5k on here, I just want it off, I am no longer playing here.
