I finally received my check (requested on 4/4) but when I tried to deposit it in a Bank or America ATM it wouldn't accept it and spit it back out at me. I don't want to deal with a teller but I guess I am going to have to.

Anyone else have this problem?

Do you think a withdrawal via Skrill is faster then a wire bank?

skrill is either 5k or 10k usually. I would go with skrill if I had the option over bank wire

Skrill does not send checks. Skrill is an ewallet.

Traditionally Skrill is far faster than bank wires. However, as of late, bank wires have been faster than Skrill.

This is starting to feel a lot like lock poker to me. Been waiting 4 months now for a cash out. Also it doesn't make any sense that ROW players should be having any difficulty being paid for any reason I can think of - every other site can pay just fine. Delays with payment processors or whatever seems like some bull **** excuse. They likely just don't have the money to pay!

I haven't played on here in 3 weeks because at this point I think the 25k is probably monopoly money on the account. I'd suggest other folks with a decent balance stop playing as well to save your time/frustration.

Agreed. This is how lock played out almost exactly. The strange thing with merge is how suddenly it happened. They went from paying out consistently, if a bit slow, to a grinding halt on processed withdrawals. There's absolutely no way that processors are to blame for the slow speeds when talking about ROW payouts. Any site, if they really wanted to ,could implement bitcoin in their cashier and pay everybody out in very short time frames. I'm sure they're well aware of how the Lock business tanked and if they could do something to prevent losing their reputation and player base they would have been very active in doing so.

Going on 12 weeks (61 business days) and counting. I sent both Carbon and Antigua another email today. Got my fingers crossed.

I hope not. When I initiated my Skrill withdrawal last week it said 7-10 days.

I also would like to believe that these time frames have been updated since it says 6-8 weeks for check whereas it used to say a much shorter time.

Will post if bank has issues with check and won't post if it has no probs. I have had no issues with Bovada checks for similar amounts and didn't have an issue when deposting my last Carbon check in April.

While it did say 3-5 weeks for checks for a brief period, it did say 6-8 weeks for checks for years

it's like you wrote this 4+ weeks ago and it's only appearing now. just b/ one busto site (Lock) used a particular reason for not paying out (complete bull****) does not mean the reason can never be valid.

i agree, with the caveat that there was a window not too long before this slowdown when they were shipping checks in under 2 weeks. it's almost like they may have had some sort of major processing issue.

It's been almost two weeks since the last update, so here we go. Below are lists of pending and processed Merge withdrawals reported in this thread. If you see any misinformation or would like to be added to the list, please post or PM. Keep in mind that I am aware I sometimes miss posts, so don't be upset or take it personally if I didn't see yours - simply let me know. I am not checking the Merge discussion thread, and I am not including pending withdrawals that are less than 5 weeks old for checks or less than 2 weeks old for skrill/bankwire. I am also removing successful withdrawals from the processed list once they become 5 weeks old so as to keep that list focused on the more recent wait times.

I will calculate the average wait times of checks and wire/skrill within the next few days. Even without having done that, though, I don't think there has been too huge of an improvement from the looks of it. True, a few check withdrawals are happening within the 6-8 week timeframe, but the majority of them are still taking 2-3 months, some of them longer. And true, the most recent checks could be the new wave of actual 6-8 week process times, but only time will tell. To be honest, there seems to have been minimal improvement over the last few months.

It does seem that a few more skrills are being requested and that a handful did get reported received. This is good news. On the other hand, skrill and bankwire are all taking far longer than should be expected, often more than two months. This news is less good.

Max Check request 5/27 still pending

I'm still waiting on my max withdrawal made on May 27 by check. God, this is is the worst. On top of that, I have another 12k in my account which I really hope isn't monopoly money.

Just stopped by the bank at lunch. Teller was confused what to do with Canadian check. Teller I like said "process as normal". Check already showed up on online statement.

After nearly a four month process, including a 3.5 month wait time to get get a message asking to do P2P withdraw, and their last date to confirm this change being BEFORE the date I actually got the message, then another 2 weeks to get it processed and a check in hand, I finally have my money.

I've said it before, it is a damn shame Carbon is going downhill. I love the software and the MTT fields. If I didn't bubble the summer free roll final table I might actually have some more money to toss around on the site, but I refuse to deposit again
