Though I'd share my experience with Merge through the past few months. I deposited a couple hundred in February to play the Sunday tournament. Long story short I withdrew 2.5k (max cashout) via check a week later. On April 1st I was notified that my check was processed and on its way. I received my check April 3rd. This check bounced exactly 1 week later.

I notified sportsbook.ag that day. Within 1 week they had another check on its way (painless right?)I received my second check on April 18th. April 25th my bank notified me again my check had bounced. I contacted support right away sent in the necessary documentation and received a generalized email back from support. I have emailed support every week since and they are still claiming they have not been able to verify the bounced check from their payment processor.

It has been a month since my last bounced check and have gotten nowhere with support. I have been trying to depo the check into my BOA account. Will my Wells Fargo account have a better chance for success? This is such a frustrating process and will never play on the Merge network again. It shouldn't take several months and 3 checks (at least) to cashout.

^I'm also waiting on merge to get back to me about a bounced check. It's been about 3 weeks since I sent them the proper details about the bounced check. I keep emailing them and they continue to tell me that they are trying to get in contact with their processor...

I really don't get why it's taking so long. What happens if they never get in "contact" with their processor? Will I be out $2500?

do you really have to wait two months after a check clears to use the money in your account?

For your info i always deposit the check in my wells fargo bank and never had any checks bounced...

A bouncing check is Merge's problem, not your bank.

I would guess 95% of all bad checks come back in less than a week and 99%+ come back in 2 weeks.

I've deposited 3 bad checks and they all came back in less than a week.

What I really want is an honest government that was for its people including poker players. I guess that is the ultimate wishful thinking when republicans are lining up to do the bidding of Sheldon Adelson the number one opponent of online poker.

But thanks for your support. Still no deposit for me. They lose a prime fish until they can pay on time and with no problems.

No such thing as an honest government, but it'd be nice if we at least had one that wouldn't infringe on our personal freedoms. God bless the US of A!

Had a check returned about 2 weeks ago and they just sent out a replacement check today.

People have wanted a legal, simple place to play since online poker's inception. That said, five cities and three countries later i just received five digits last night. They have the money, processors just f'd imo. Still rooting for ipoker to come back to the states in regulated form across the board. GL in getting those checks cashed.

I think you should try to deposit your checks in Wells fargo. As far as I know no one has ever report the check being bounced from Merge Network.

once processed, 2-3 days to receive by fedex, never had to wait longed (3 checks--within the last few months)

i don't believe the check bouncing has anything to do with the gaining bank, it has to do with issuing bank not having funds to back check.

Does anyone know if I ban myself can I still withdraw? Have 7.5k I want to cash out, but probably should focus on my summer classes so I was thinking if doing a self ban. But I don't want to hinder the cashing out process?

If I were you I wouldn't risk it. I'm sure you have enough self control to not play.
