I just had a "return to sender" for a $2,000 check from Carbon, deposited 2-3 weeks ago. There isn't much more annoying than having it sitting in your account and they snatch it back right when you think you're done. What exactly is next? Should I try emailing, live support, what? Does anyone have experience or a guide for this scenario?

However i've been checking the tracking number daily and fedex says they dont have that in the system, I called fedex and they say getting a tracking number just means the label has been created.

Has anyone from the 5/14 batch rec'd anything or been able to track their check?

Give it a month or two, then you'll know for sure. Your bank fronts you the money basically.

My last 3 checks were all 'clear' before they were bounced.

When a bank thinks a check is legitimate, i.e. will be paid, they make funds available since most people are hand to mouth when it comes to fiances. If a check "bounces" then the bank gets to charge exorbitant fees to correct the mistake. It's a purely (savvy) business decision that has become standard pretty much world wide.

The customer is always liable in the aforementioned situation. Why you ask? Because banks rule the world and can do pretty much whatever they please.

I contacted carbon about my bounced $2500 check on May 5th and they still have not gotten back to me...they keep saying they are getting in touch with their processors. Why is this taking so long? I'm starting to get worried

I've had 2 checks bounce over a 7 month period and both times the new checks arrived around 10 days after contacting support. They just arrived at my door step with no notification whatsoever.

I punched in the address of one the processors that issued the bad check in Google Maps (Street View) and it looked like they were located in the middle of the ghetto/projects. Some of the processors Merge uses are a bit sketchy to say the least. With all that's going on with Merge right now, I'm glad I cashed out my BR.

They just shorted me the $40 fee from a check request from 5/1. They must have considered it from April, even though I am sure I requested it well into the day. Hoping they make things right!

This happened to me a few months ago. Their clock is on Pacific time, so there is a 3 hour difference for me. I made my request on the 1st at 1 am EST. and they considered it still 10pm the 31st. I complained long enuff to chat and email that they credited my account.

I always deposit my check on wells fargo and never had a problem. Can you guys give more info on which bank you guys are depositing these check that are getting bounced??
