Well if its a windows issue am I sol? My computer should be way good enough to handle this, only thing really need an I7 processor for is high end gaming. Is reformatting really worth it, would it be worth all the time to download every program and update again? I haven't watched to closely, but cpu usage is only 20-30% it looks like. I kinda made a budget build computer, for what I thought would be well good enough for poker and maybe a game or two like SC 2, but I certainly don't need top end crap for that. I took my video card from old comp. The main thing from my last computer, was that SSD was what you needed to speed HM2 up, I guess I have never ran the programs with out HM2, but no way I could mass multi table if I did that.

Yeah, then even though we had similar specs, your issue is different than mine so I'm not sure if reinstalling windows would fix it. It's still probably worth a try; it's not that time consuming and would be well worth it if it worked - nothing is more tilting than PC issues during a session.

Can someone break down for me the poker bonus clearing mechanics on Carbon? Trying to piece together the information from other sources is making my head hurt.

I believe it equates to 7% rb, I'm sure someone has the numbers, which I do not. I mass multitable 100-200 and some 50nl depending on traffic, and am lucky to acquire 2 bonuses per day, if I do, I played a TON. They happen in 20 dollar increments. It's something at least.

No, they can be used for any MTT or SNG of the ticket value within 90 days.

In re-buy tournaments, the re-buy/add-on tab displays your player points.

[QUOTE=jay94;51327575]So I have Windows 10 64Bit amd 8350 gt 660, 8 gigs of ram, 800Gig SSD. For some reason I get soft freezes while playing Carbon with other sites, like Bovada and Juicy Stakes, will 8 more gigs of this solve this, or am I sol? Would a better video card help? I am running over 50% memory, not that's a ton, when everything is up, but I have no clue, and with Carbon Turbo tables, I time out all the time. This is running with HM2, poker sites, Bovada Card Catcher, and Firefox, which is generally Pandora. Thanks for the help.[/QUOTE

i have issues with firefox and carbon running same time.
i can play 3 or 4 sites and tables cept if firefox is open then they freeze at times
also
with carbon and firefox open computer runs at 100%
close firefox and drops to 10%

Have you guys tried disabling (or better yet, temporarily uninstalling) your antivirus software?
The two most common problems I've seen with software issues on Windows are solved by running the programs as admin or whitelisting them in antivirus (or switching antivirus providers)

I have 2 in mine. Currently playing with a new U.S.A. sign-up. Stated he made his account last week. Good news if the freeze on new American accounts is over. Note: He didn't take his AA getting sucked out on very well.

What in the actual f*ck. There's no way a real person playing manually scored over 4,000 points in the rake race leaderboard and won three different stake levels. It's hard enough to do 1,300 points in one level. Maybe they're on meth idk but seriously wondering if they're using a bot. I've emailed support multiple times about oooSebasooo (i4urel) at 10nl and cardrackeraaa at 25nl scoring 1,300 points a day and winning 1st place prizes in those almost daily. 4k points just blows my mind as someone who has personally played all day across 12 tables and maybe broke 1,500 to 2,000 points and my brain was completely fried. I've won and competed for the rake races many times and 4k points in a day, comon.

It does seem pretty ridiculous. Last time I was playing 25nl CardrackerAAA was playing on literally every available table. Something like 14 tables. I used to play 10 tables at 10nl for several hours and only get about 1400 points. 4k just seems a little absurd.

I managed to place in 3 levels a grand total of one time (10/25/50). Two levels is hard to do. But it looks like mmm_fish, CardRacker as well as several 10nlers are botting it up.

I don't know if Cardracker is indeed a bot but he's no doubt using some kind of seating script since he auto joins any 25nl table and snap sits without 3 other active players.

You'd think Merge would do something since seating scripts are against their ToS but hey, what do I know.

Yeah but if cardracker is a bot he is a losebot because he is not doing well in the 10k plus hands I've got on him (I know lol sample size)

I'm always happy to see racker at the table

Technically what we are discussing is a form of rakeback but when a few players are literally winning it everyday its very hard to obtain and only available to cash game players and the top 3 at each stake per day.

Speaking of all this computer stuff, anybody know an affordable and cheap laptop that would be good for playing poker? Mine is on it's last legs.

I just need something with some decent ram and good size screen. Something over 15" and around $500-600? Any recommendations?

I would say just try and get an I5 processor ssd for hard drive and 8 gigs of ram, it should be around there, think that will be more important than what brand the actual laptop is. Found this just by browsing, it may be more then enough, but rather be safe than sorry. Guess 150 cheaper with slightly worse specs, go with that if budget is a problem, check out newegg.
