Merge can ultimately decide if they've done something wrong or not. I am simply informing others to bring attention to those two players as it is still definitely strange that 3-4 players out of thousands managed to keep a connection.

A lot of these disconnections seem to be regional. I don't get disconnected as much as a lot of players on the East Coast seem to. It's stupid to throw shade on players in an open forum on such a flimsy suspicion.

If you say that only 3 or 4 players out of thousands managed to stay connected, could you share with us how you could possibly know that?

Any chance Carbon starts doing bitcoin deposit/withdrawal like many other sites are starting to do?

^^^I think they have to go a week without any major site wide disconnection problems before they think about doing anything else. This should be their #1 priority right now.

Received an email saying I won't be refunded for any of the SNGs I blinded out of last night. Absolutely unbelievable.

What in the f$#@! They just cancelled the $5 Night Owl Knockout with 30 players left. They said they would refund the money... Get your **** together Carbon! I feel like the past few days are definitely a glimpse of what's to come. So glad I moved the majority of my roll over to Bovada...

Was in a sng and in first by quite a bit when it cancelled and refunded my tourney.

Anyone else unable to see any husngs while using advanced filters?

Talked to live chat and was told husngs were removed from the advanced filters tab on purpose...

I have played at Carbon poker for two years. In 2014, I played over 1200 tourneys there with an ROI in the double digits. I am a serious recreational poker player and have been for over two decades. I play live cash games and tourneys and have played at over 50 cardrooms/casinos on three continents. Today I ended my relationship with Carbon/Merge Gaming and here are a few reasons why. I think US players would be well advised to consider before joining Carbon/Merge:
1. Inordinately long cash out times. During the two years I played at Carbon, I withdrew funds multiple times. The wait from request to receipt averaged 6 weeks. Way too long in my opinion.
2. Terrible customer service. Many general inquiries went unanswered. Inquiries that were responded to were often boilerplate responses that often failed to address the matter about which I inquired. Promised follow-ups never materialized.
3. Software/Connection problems. Software and connection freezes were way to common. It was not unusual to be frozen out of a tourney and unable to reconnect for many minutes. Of course, in the meantime, my stack is being eaten up. Support would deny connection issues and insist it was on my end when I was simultaneously surfing the web and playing on other sites and other players were being similarly locked out. Refund requests for being booted from Carbon servers were routinely denied after a cursory review by a "final decision."
4. Elimination of scheduled tourneys/increase of buyins. As recently as three months ago, Carbon offered 5 daily H.O.R.S.E. tourneys (Ok so I am a glutton for punishment). In the last month, without notice or explanation 3 of the 5 have been eliminated. When I contacted customer service to complain, if I got a response it was devoid of concern or care. Similarly, without notice or explanation, Carbon doubled the buyins to the remaining tourneys I liked to play.
I am a patient person and not given to complaining. However, I simply could not take the lack of concern/attention to detail and other and many shortcomings of Carbon any longer.
