If you're referring to the DDoS, there's only so much you can do to mitigate attacks like that. Assuming that's the case, whoever is doing it will ultimately end up regretting it - that's for sure.

That aside, I have never encountered a security issue on Bovada or Merge.

so you're telling me that Merge is not at fault for these security issues?

These attacks don't just affect the poker sites. American Internet Service Providers are affected by these DDOS attacks, as well. Hell, AT&T U-Verse was down in my area (Dallas) tonight for an entire qtr during the Super Bowl. This was right around the time complaints were rolling in from poker sites.

This is definitely an FBI issue and if enough people complain they'll be forced to look into it just to get us off their backs. We need to make a thread with FBI cyber crimes division contacts and push for as many 2 + 2 members to contact them as we can.

Even if it doesn't lead to arrest and prosecutions I'll bet it will make these DDOS *******s think twice about screwing with these poker networks if they know the heat is on. I guarantee you won't see these pricks like this Disrespect=D/C coming on 2 + 2 and barking threats at poker networks anymore.
So you want the government to spend money to throw resources at a grey-market eGaming site, and if they don't, you want to sue them for monetary damages? As a tax payer, I'm thrilled with this idea

I'm disconnected as well. I had money on a table and it isn't putting the money back in my account. How long until I see that in my account?? Do I need to contact support?

everyone should be contacting support at this point. especially if you're out money or equity in a tournament

Anyone not playing on Bovada should move there immediately. They pay you quicker and this bs happens far less often. Everyone should cash out. CLEARANCE!!! EVERYTHING MUST GO!!!

DDOS attacks are illegal. The government has law enforcement agencies in place to enforce these laws. Investigating cyber crimes is hardly the massive expense you're making it out to be.

You're right, though. It's better to allow this to continue and lose money than it is to dedicate funds to investigating this issue. One way, or the other, money is coming out of your pocket. You can lose it at the tables during the DDOS attacks, or dedicate money to doing something far more constructive.

what's the outlook like for carbon, I have a decent amount on there and would rather not have to worry about not getting paid eventually

Reconnected. Was in the early bird, I don't think I lost anything in the 10-15 minutes we were down.

not sure why you would have lost any chips as the blinds should have just been passed around. I did not lose any chips in any of my tourneys, but the blinds continued to escalate during the downtime.

That's a smart way to spend money, donk.

"I don't think I lost money, but I'm not sure."

And, you're saying my proposed allocation of tax funds is a bad idea? If you say so...

2 people at my table commented that they were the only players that did not get disconnected and continued playing.

pretty sure he is referring to chips and not money, but I see you're just trolling everywhere anyhow.
