^^ For the record: 10 times the $20k GTD HR has run since 4/9. It's passed $30k in overall prize pool 5 times, averaging $30,260 over those ten tournaments.

I think slow and steady wins the race here. Quick increases/decreases is not the best way to a healthy MTT schedule, in my opinion. They've made some relatively minor adjustments thus far, and I'd expect it to continue on that trajectory over the coming weeks.

They aren't going to have Bovada/Bodog type traffic by the end of the month - so no sense in rushing it. Make a few bucks, gradually up the guarantees, and soon enough, things will grow.

^ Agree for the most part, but this is a different situation. It wasn't steady growth, it was over night growth (site manipulated ofc) so there isn't really anything to base it off of. They need to do what they are doing and weekly increase the GTD's until they get to the natural inflection point of meeting the guarantee, but not crushing it by thousands in order to draw in more people they've pissed off.

I wasn't saying make the HR $35K instantly, obviously, but making it a $30K is reasonable and even the 5 days they missed $30K it was very close, right? Too lazy to go back and look. This tournament not so long ago was $40K+ on the regular.

Your WPN buddies took the slow and steady route with everything from guarantees to basic software fixes being implemented and imo cost themselves a huge opportunity that Merge gave them over the last year and a half of shenanigans. Though they've grown a ton, being scared to pull the trigger on changes has cost them big time. Be it the Beast, opening multiple MTT lobbys, adding things to the schedule, etc.

^^ Well I look forward to the day you run a poker operation, sir. You can jack up guarantees all you like then. WPN did miss a golden opportunity, particularly after the OSS. But they aren't exactly mince meat just yet. Should be an interesting summer at any rate.

Can someone please explain to me how long I can sit out at a cash table on Carbon before i'm removed? I've seen a guy sit out with no chips for 20 minutes while he talked sh*t after getting stacked, while sometimes I get up to take a piss and i'm kicked off by the time I get back. Anyone have the same problem?

1 orbit I think?

The worse thing for the site is when they have to decrease the guarantees, so I agree with the slow increases and minor adjustments.

Has the Sunday Big Ticket $125K gone over the 125 yet?

IIRC there's 2 criteria (2 orbits/15 minutes, but dont quote me) and it's whichever comes first .

There were 2 player pools. They recently combined into one.

It used to be three orbits, I haven't paid attention recently though.

It's only run once since reintegration. It hit 143k

Logged in and played from a couple different friends house past couple days, none of them play online/ play on merge or anything. Should I be worried with merge security flagging my account or anything? Just wondering thanks. Also played on a wireless hotspot riding in a car down the highway lol.

I do that all the time. No worries. Maybe if you go to one of the banned states you might have an issue. I play from several IP addresses and have never had a problem.

Just a guess but the sit out times might be quicker at the "fast tables" than the regular tables. The new waiting list does not differentiate between regular and fast tables and it easy to be sitting at a fast table without noticing. At the regular tables you have time to sh*t out ).

Anybody having any issues with blank window boxes? It seems like whenever a window box pops up, it's always blank. For example, I win a satty seat and the window box that says you won a seat is blank. I tried re-installing it but it still does the same thing.

Im getting small glitches as well. The player name boxes are empty, fold - check - raise boxes are empty, can't see the lobby time, and empty window boxes as well.

I had that problem with the player boxes and bet buttons were blank. It happened after I uninstalled office on my machine.

Support gave me this link and installing it fixed it for me: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...ng=en&id=16083

Hey guys, I have noticed the significant increase in traffic on Carbon. What exactly happened? Did the entire network "merge" together once PokerHost left to join the Equity network? Regardless, this can only be good for US players.

The nightly humtt(as well as the sunday 1k guaranteed) needs to either be a turbo or start with 1500 stacks. The tournaments don't even go off sometimes. The sunday 1k guaranteed couldn't even get 32 players today.

Yes, there was some desegregation.

Their was only some segregation before imo. So I used the word some describe the desegregation fwiw.

My apologies is if it was incorrectly worded. I do believe however that I answered his question both sufficiently and accurately for all intent and purpose.

Carbon/Aced were completely separate from Players Only, Sports Book, and Super Book as of October 2013.

Now they are not.

And that is why saying only "some" of the network was segregated isn't correct. Every game type on the network was segregated.

For example: If you played cashed on Aced you may as well have been playing on an entirely different network if you were playing cash on Players Only. Not 1 game crossed over.

Not sure where you're going with this..It's ok to be wrong sometimes, it happens.

A small part of the sites had already reintegrated prior to last week's reintegration.
