It's possible, just doubtful considering their isn't 400 tournaments a month worth playing anymore. I mean, if you grind every $50 guarantee up to the high roller you could do it. Even when there was a real schedule the top 10 players on the network were only averaging around 300-350.

Maybe he doesn't realize reentries show up as multiple tournaments now.

I'm lucky to get 150 unique tournaments a month since the new schedule came out and I play everything with a $1,000+ guarantee.

I just don't get how they can give these affiliate kids 40% of our rake and yet complain about their low profit margins for poker. Maybe if they lowered the affiliate side things could improve for them? God knows they took away all the player promotions they could. I guess that didn't help their profit margins enough.

Yeah, time to leave.
I always believe what people tell me on the internet too.... /endsarcasm

Anyone else tried changing your avatar at the table and have the client freeze? Tried it twice, happened both times.

Just received a check today, I assume the bounced check must've been from the batch before mine? Email support or whatever they'll take care of it, I believe you may have to wait for another check though? (rain)

Contact live chat asap. They will tell you the documents you need to provide and get a replacement check out to you. It's important to do these things quickly.

Well looks like the Nightly $200 is yet again reverted to 5k chips.

It's almost as if they are just trying to get people to hate their site.

Wow, is it really? I was on my way home to late reg too. I suppose I'll pass now. It's barely worth playing anymore anyway.

Yup I was about to late reg it as well. Pass.

If taking away VIP, promotions and raising rakes to as high as 5 bucks a pot wasn't enough to chase away all their customers, nothing will. If you play on Merge and don't realize they are in this for a short term money grab while they still can, then you deserve what you get. So stop complaining. Either move or quit playing. Merge isn't going to change their present strategy of taking as much of your money as fast as they can. You don't like something they are doing? Tough luck, they could care less. It is what it is now. They are what they are. Either accept it or leave it, they could care less. The American market is dead man walking. $$$$$ spends though, so to them, getting it as fast as possible while they still can is THE business plan. Who can blame them?

Ended up getting in the high roller and I just peaked at the lobby to see 57 of the 82 entrants (still a few mins of late reg might change) are from 19 people haha. Not that it matters where the money comes from, but a little fun fact. The recreational model seems to be working well..

Not to mention people are late regging 8 people from the bubble.

This was an error and will be changed back to it's original format.

Kahn: Do you believe that management would be receptive to the idea of changing the nightly $215 High Roller to a $215/12k or 10k guaranteed, with only 2 hours of late reg/re-entry for a couple of nights, and see if there is interest from the players to play a different type of tournament, and then see if it's just a horrible mistake, or if it can grow organically from there?

Also do you think that the MTT segregation of C/A/PH from SB/PO is completely permanent, or do you believe there is any wiggle room on managements part to reintegrate the MTT pools?

I agree, segregation is completely killing the network. How Merge allows this to happen is beyond me.

Like has been said many times itt, I don't think they care. They seem to be more concerned w/ sportsbook/casino profits than making money off poker. I can't say I blame them because we all know once regulation comes about it's game over, but I don't have to like it.

This is said so much now it's almost a meme, but I have 1 question how many years do you believe it will be before half of the states in the USA will have online poker/casino/sports betting available to them on regulated sites?

I say 2025.

So I think Merge could be around for a really long time if they like.

Regulation for poker I'll take the under, by 10 years. For sports betting and casino games who knows or really cares. The latter is their current market and future market. Poker will die on this network as it should. They've done nothing to stop that from happening.

I'm pointing out that their biggest money maker(sportsbetting) is likely to continue for a very long time, also, you believe that >=25 states will have online poker regulated, and operating by Jan. 1, 2015, or Dec. 31, 2015? If it's the former I believe you could get unlimited action on the other side with odds, and if it's the latter I think you could get unlimited action on the other side, possibly with odds.
