depends on the games. They had been really good recently but died down a bit.

sorry to post here but I haven't found any other topics on Carbon or Merge network.
I wanted to sign up there but wanted some info:
1- Is there any rakeback deals for Carbon?
2- How is the traffic?
3- Are the games good in Micros? 25NL , 50NL as far as population go? Enough fish?
4- Holdem Manager 2 works there. right? I see they do support Merge network.. just wanted to make sure.

1. Technically there is no RB but they have been running a monthly reload bonus every month for the last ~6 months that's worth 20% RB and gets released $10 at a time
2. Depends on what you play. I play SNG's and can usually hit the 10 table max during peak times if I'm willing to mix formats/stakes
3. I don't play cash so someone else will need to chime in
4. Yes, HM2 works. It does seem to import SNG buy-ins slightly incorrecty but that's easy enough to edit manually after the fact, the HUD works flawlessly though

With all the bans on Merge this seems kind of fitting with the current business model

Just played this morning and come back from gym and am banned. gl all.

fwiw I will answer. I DO NOT currently play on this network, and have not for quite some time. however, my account is still active, and I have had contact with support within the past month. have also logged in to my account multiple times, with the thought of possibly depositing/playing here. my account is a grandfathered/legacy account on playersonly.
1. I personally do have rakeback through a large rb site (or at least my account still shows up as active at the rb site). I'm not sure if I played I would get rakeback or not. neither of the two rb sites I use now offer rb deals on merge.
2. traffic on merge is pathetic. the network has had numerous problems. on top of all this, they charge 5% just to cashout to bitcoin. to me, that's a dealbreaker when you have the options of global, bovada/ignition, and acr.

I cannot speak to questions 3 or 4.

the two good things I have heard about merge: 1. they offer poker deposit bonus, which most others do not. 2. supposedly their mtt have good overlays.

About mtt overlays.. Yeah that is a good thing but I play exclusively cash.. So nothing there either...

where are you exactly?! if you don't have access to global, you must be euro/rest of world, right? don't you have stars or party or other things to choose from?

I'm from Iran.
There are basically 2 kind of issues.
1- Poker Websites don't provide service because of boycotts and stuff.
2- Even if the poker site accepts us, we only have Bitcoin and Webmoney as payment methods and nothing else. A lot of networks doesn't have these options..
It's hard to live in Iran...

Nah... You won't get in trouble as long as it's your own business. Running a gambling arena get you in trouble but playing wont... Specially online...

Actually, there is something there. This site is geared to recreational players. The top end cash game players eventually get banned apparently. So there is a void to be filled.
