Cant wait for the Sat+Sun Hyper Turbo Events!

Conspiracies, tinfoil hats, rumors, and sarcasm aside, completely removing the forum was a mistake. Lock it down, but don't remove it. Yes, there was lots of inane drivel there that ALL of us were guilty of posting from time to time, but there was a lot of good info there to regarding client settings, workarounds, site rules and policies, etc. Now instead of having a searchable knowledge base they are going to spend more time fielding those kinds of questions. Oh well, maybe the posts will eventually make it to the archive and can be found that way.

Edit: Wow, I guess they completely purged the posts from the forum database. I can go back and find my posts in the old RPM forum so I hoped this would be the case for Carbon. Nope, they are gone. So I guess the archives won't happen either. GG, collection of knowledge.

I still have most of my roll on Carbon but wanted to switch to PH for a while. Finally tried and had this experience. Back to Carbon. Even though its not a huge deal I am fuming cause I don't appreciate being hustled like this so I have some plan of action I might be taking. Anyways! Enjoy the story I supose.

Lied to and hustled by Pokerhost

Cliffs:

Deposited huge sum of money on PokerHost.

Had long chats with their rep (Thank god I saved the chats).

In chats they told yes if you deposit this huge sum you will have P2P.

I wanted P2P so I can sell action for PokerMaximus.

Week after deposit when it cleared they removed P2P option (I just realized today).

Their response: When you deposited you agreed to term and conditions. It does not matter what we said in the chat. We removed p2p and cannot tell you why.

Have to agree. I take the wholesale deletion a little bit personally since many of us put a lot of time and effort into that forum.

As for the doomsayers, who knows for sure, but I doubt the move signals end times. None of the other *dozens* of major public-relations gaffes have turned out to be much more than just poorly planned, executed, and communicated decisions.

Kinda mixed on the new tournament changes. Do like the changes of the tournament structure for sure. Also like that there's guarantees for basically every tournament, I can actually play micros whenever I want instead of waiting for night time.

I do not like the fact that they changed the $1r daily dazzler. That tournament was the nuts before the change with 3k starting 3k rebuy and 30k addon, you can just come in a few minutes before late registration closes and you have a workable stack. Now it's just going to become a shove fest with 2k starting 2k rebuy 5k addon starting w/ 300/600 after the rebuy period. I guess I can't really fault them for changing it because it'll probably generate more entries, what was once my favorite tournament is now just a mediocre tournament.

Don't like that the daily $11 6k (I'm assuming it's the same gtd each day now so thanks for that) is now 10 min structure instead of 15 minutes. It never had a problem meeting its guarantee before this change so why change something that's not broken?

Also don't like that because of the standarized buy-ins they got rid of 2 high guarantee $3.30 turbo's with no adequate replacement for them. the 6PM $3.30 1k turbo and the 9PM $3.30 $750 turbo were also some of my favorite tournaments to play, now I have nothing to play in place of them really.

In general seems we've gotten across the board cuts to the micro ($2.20 and under) schedule (guess you can say the same for almost everything else as well) and I have no idea why. It's not like those are ever overlaying and if they do, it's such a minimal hit that it should make no difference.

Yeah, many of the posts that I've written since I've been on 2+2 were in that forum. They've all simply been deleted. What a complete waste. I just noticed that I've been demoted from "old hand" to "adept" because my post count has been so drastically reduced.

It's nice to see when people provide feedback about structures, they're willing to listen and change it. Ante's starting earlier and added levels later yay

They took away my favorite as well. The nightly $2 Deepstack with 15 minute blinds. Never had an overlay and had a regular player base. Thanks jerks. No there is no real tournaments for low limit buys ins.

.... so won multiple seats to the poker maximus main event. than, i was told they only could be specifically used for the main event, and that the other coupons were useless. so after not busting out early, i never used the coupon. Now, the coupon is gone. why was i allowed to reg another satty if these were useless for everything else. Stolen money once again.

I wonder what's up with the Carbon mobile version? I did a quick skim of carbonpoker.ag and didn't see any mention of it. Kind of odd that they would release a mobile version but not advertise it anywhere except the forums..which they just closed .

If I could get HH's I'd definitely play on it. We were supposed to be informed of this at some point.

Sheep or Shill. One of the best things a site can do for image is pay a few posters to back and defend their every play. The same three people are always there to rebut any criticism I've ever made of Carbon. Always lurking in the forum ready to jump on any negative post.

At first glance new tournament schedule does not look so great. My favorite tournaments have been altered for the worse.

The deep that started at11:30 and 12:00 have been cut from 20 min levels to 15.

The $22 at 18:30 cut to $750 GTD. This had a 1k - 3k GTD that always made. Also cut from 12 min to 10 min levels.

The $11 at 19:00 levels cut from 15 min to 10 min

The $60 at 19:00 is great if this runs daily with 12.5 GTD but the structure changed for the worse

Every tournament I looked at goes from 25/50 level to the 50/100 level

If someone is paying these same three people to stand up for Carbon, who is paying you to sling **** about Carbon in every thread you post in?

wait so you paid cash to play in pm6 satellites, won coupons and they wiped out whatever extra coupons you had after the series was over?

i won a $22 coupon during the 100k pm6 freeroll giveaway last month, didnt use it because their software ****ed up, but i still have it and support said i can use it on any sng/mtt before it expires.

this makes zero sense, especially since mine was free. if anything, this should be reversed. mine should be taken away and yours still available.

New schedule is horrible imo. Who the **** wants to 20 table $3-20 tourneys with $750 and under guarantee? Why would they not just raise the guarantees on the current tourneys and add a few more?

Feel like I gave a decent amount of effort in that forum. Good to see it completely deleted.

Also curious about the mobile version.
