Carbon was doing ok back when they ran the daily cash-back promos. Traffic plummeted after that. They had such a huge opportunity after BF too. They botched it then and continue botching today. It's like they have monkeys running operations and vegetables running the marketing.

Hey all, about a week ago Carbon abruptly closed my account and customer support refuses to give me any reason or explanation. They say they will refund my account balance via Bitcoin. Anyone else have this happen recently? I was briefly banned/restricted a few years ago when they were trying to ban all the winning players, but now my account has been permanently closed.

Tournaments only, and I wasn't playing much there at all. I'd occasionally play their Sunday "major." At the time they deactivated my account, I don't think I'd even played on the site in a couple of weeks.

I'm not super heartbroken I can't play there anymore as the traffic is pretty dismal, I'm just kinda pissed off they banned me for literally no reason.

They made a lot of changes and all of them were not to the players benefit.

They finally had enough of losing because the GTD's weren't even coming close to being met.

I mean let's face it, they are already cheap skates. The $100 Freeroll, the players rebuy and add on, rather than going on top of the $100, they actually reduce what they pay out by using this to offset the $100.

They need more tournaments running and way less late registration time. Two and three hours late registration for simple $500 GTD tournaments or tournaments without a guarantee is ridiculous.

Cash games are way down. You rarely see a higher fixed limit game going or Omaha Hi/Lo for that matter.

As it was mentioned they need to run some type of series or a leaderboard for SNG variations.

Since this network appears to be liquid negative until they do something that makes sense for the players they will remain languished in poker hell.

Imagine if Poker Stars becomes available for everyone in the US again, this network will shut down.

Just noticed that Carbon has mistakenly shorted me on 100$ on a sports bet. They gave me a 100% bonus with a 100% match bet. I loaded 100$ for poker, and made a 100$ wager and then another 100$ dollar wager with the free match bet.

I bet 100$ to win approximately 83$ on LSU +7.5, but was only paid the 83$ upon completion of the game. I am in the process of attempting to notify support. Has anyone else had this happen and have any helpful advice?

You don't keep the $100 bet. Only the amount you win (or nothing if you lose). That's why the strategy for a free bet is to take the highest moneyline you can.

Was just coming to update my post. Carbon support contacted me very quickly. Good thing my 2nd bet was Arkansas ML +210.

Nope. Noticed it mainly yesterday morning. Seemed like all but one tournament was cancelled until noon. But was encouraged the 5:30 PM, $11 1K gtd I played in, was meant.

Believe the biggest reason were losing our player base is they haven't allowed new accounts in ages. You do that in poker you will crush the population especially on these smaller sites.

I haven't played on Merge in Long time. Signed on other day and it was like a ghost town.

I'm sure there is, as this isn't the first time they've suspended new accounts acceptance.

You need to be carefull having old/new multi accounts. If you ever want to withdrawal.

Well last night's Trick or Treat $5 satellite- 10 seats- to the $55 11K Gtd Mega Stack Trick or Treat on Nov 3rd, actually ended awarding more than 10 seats. Step in the right direction.
