Please clarify against what you are you protesting.
I know many players are happy with the new (contributed) rake calculating method. The old one was unfair and everything is better than that.
If you want to encourage more players to join your protest you must narrow complaints. Do it ASAP.
Rake increase is the only problem imo.

You will never ever get enought people to be effective with this at site as big as PS. Only reason why this worked on sites like ps.fr was that they had like 95% regs to do it. Also I remember i once helped blocked High Stakes tables for isildur or someone because they had some idiot breaking their HU. And next day I recived warning from PS for sitting out at those tables. Dont you risk Ban for doing this for 2HR at 24 tables ?

Are you guys serious ? Protesting 1 or 2 days won't accomplice NOTHING - we need to sitout until they change things back !

Well thats your opinion and we need to be respectful with it, but the majority of the players will be protesting for both things, so I think that you should join even if you only want to protest for the rake increment, if you don't want to join because we'r protesting for the rake system change too, then don't join , thats all

In all honesty there would be no online poker played if the criteria of regs here is not met.I think the 2+2 community tries to hold these sites accountable but they will still run their business as they see fit.

Doesn't mean you have to sit there and take it. Kick up a fuss and cause stars some grief imo

Everyone in this thread made tens of thousands of rake yearly. Pokerstars will ban us? Notsureifserious.jpg
They don't even ban confirmed shared Chinese accounts. FR 100/200 regs know which SN I mean.

I've paid about $50K in rake to Stars the past 2 years and like many others i will definately be dicing that by a large % while the current situation remains.

But if such a huge change is being attempted it should be to the fairest method available which is winner takes all without doubt.

Dealt encourages heaps off bullsht. And this is just some kind of ****ed up hybrid.

Although I geuss if they actually compensated this by increasing FPPs by 1 point per $1 in rake this system would actually be much better overall than dealt.

Or we could go really hard and petition to get the rake reduced!(lol).

Also another thing that needs to be done via chat is to let all other players know what's up and why this is being done.

Made SNE in 2010

Relocated in August and completely disgusted with the changes.

As they say, the house always wins

No set date is needed for me, count me in for not being Pokerstars' b1tch

I totally get your idea to stand up for what you believe in. I am just playing devils advocate and have played on every chitty online poker network. Stars still is the most transparent and treats their customers better than most sites.

Strike is a right we do have and we are gonna use it.

I think most important points are:

1. Rake increase for 5 handed.
2. Effective rakeback decrease.

Doesn't matter if the method is dealt or WC, what matters is what we get back, and seeing that most of the VIPs (Supernovas+) will see their rakeback reduced in a 20% avg. is sth that we cannot accept under any circumstances.

I'm in.

I think it should be postponed to a later day. There will be quite a few people that won't be in front of the computer on the first day of the year.

It would also give more time to promote the initiative if it was at a later time.

I'd like to see:

1) Dealt left as is
2) Rake changes reversed to current
3) 10% increase to all milestone bonuses

Would be funny if they planned this as one big level, so we'd strike and they'd say ok we'll keep it as is. Then they wouldn't have to introduce new incentives and bonuses and we'd feel like we "won".
