All this talk about "loyal customers" i mean srsly.. u guys are in cause U want money!
You do not give a real damn about stars in general.

And guess what its just not fair for everyone to nit it up and get the same amount of rakeback

DEALT IS NOT FAIR

I'll help out the numbers (but would rather be kept off that list), I think the rake even with the current system's too high and stars have taken the piss lately with some of their recent business decisions.

Again: I am not against WC specifically, I am, however, against lower RB and higher rake. WC with no VIP tweaks lowers our rakeback, and then they hosed us hard with their subtle rake increase.

Was running some numbers earlier, and it looked like the winrate decrease for six max players could be .5bb/100 or even more. That's a 25%-50% decrease in win rate for the guys KILLING the games, let alone the guys just getting by.

For those of you complaining about "rakeback whores" and "nits," keep in mind: this change will turn a massive amount of six max players from "modest winners" to "rakeback whores" through no fault of their own.

I am categorically against higher rake. Hell, at this point, I'd love to lean on stars to just cap the rake at $2 across the board.

I agree WTA is the fairest option but WC is ABSOLUTE BS
Well then YOU are protesting against the wrong thing, cause ppl driving this thread want the DEALT version back.

moving to canada in five days
was planning on putting in millions of hands....
in.

guess i'll use those five days to think of new screen names for other sites.

i would suggest multiple sit outs btw...
i would find their peak day(s) and sit out those days every week.
i would make simple demands..
i would have a simple phrase to type in chat to the fish/unaware...

any account on 2p2 that has <100 posts and thinks this is a 'GREAT change' is fkn shill.

Totally get your point, i wish they would tweak this aswell to make it more even, if your numbers are correct then pretty much 1% of the playerpool will win at 6 max. I hope they are not correct.
Im on your side with tweaking alot.

I don't care about ring game rake, as I only play MTTs. But Stars have got away with only awarding 5.5 VPPs per $1 of tournament juice for too long, it should clearly be 6 VPPs. Plus I missed out on political protest rallies when I was a student, as there simply wasn't anything interesting to complain about. So I'm down for this.

I think the opening post needs to show more specifically what we are protesting for since there appears to be some confusion. I believe most people are happy with WC method being used but are against the cash grab by stars by not tweaking the VIP system at the same time. We are also against the rake increase when, if anything, rake should be decreased.

I'd be happy to stand behind a cause for effectively lower tournament rake (by boosting to 6vpp/dollar).

And fwiw, no-one [in their right mind] is complaining solely about WC. If WC came with bigger vpp multiplier or properly lowered rake, no-one would be complaining.
So WC lovers, get over your prejudice and join us!

Multiple days is a good idea. I think everyone should start on January 1, sit out for as much/as long as you can, and then if you have to leave or get booted or whatever, and it looks like there isn't anyone helping occupy the tables, then re-rally and do it again January 2 12 EST, and every day until stars responds.

I play for a living, I'm home all day. I'll happily start the sit out January 1 and keep it doing it all month if necessary.

This.

I was very outspoken against WC rake before the change was made, but I believe that ship has sailed. Pokerstars wants WC rake, and I accept that. That's fine. What's NOT fine is that they lowered rakeback AND raised the actual rake when they made the change.

If you want a bigger impact with more players sitting out you really should cross post this in nvg so more people will see it.

I want to thank everyone thus far for contributing and offering constructive feedback. I an going to be out of the house all day today but I will help modify the OP when I can and help coordinate the actual effort. I think we should focus on 25nl-1000nl and 25plo-1000plo but all help is encouraged. thanks again to everyone for getting behind this. 2p2 is an awesome community.

PS: LO is the man. Thanks dad.
