You'll probably get your answer there(as you already asked it there as well) - although the only sure way of knowing is finding out in the country itself - laws can change.

Malaysia is considered as a high risk country in terms of credit card fraud. I know that quite few sites, although accepting players from Malaysia, will not process the credit card deposits. So you'd probably be better off using something like Moneybookers, as bank transfer fees make the whole thing too expensive. But you also need to find out from Moneyboookers if they will process your transactions to gambling sites.

I know this hasn't answered your question but I hoped it helped a bit... and I'm sure that you at least know someone, who knows someone... who is a lawyer you can ask to be sure. "Malaysia boleh!"

moneybooker won't allow malaysian or israilite to transfer money to any gambling sites. tht i know bcoz i have tried it.

but u can use another method. check around and ask question like i did with titanpoker. i wont tell here. to add money use your card. to withdraw use wire transfer.

anyways i lost my first $5 on 0.1/0.2 poker table first time. i'm a fish i admit, i am still learning hehe..

I think 888 and GGnetwork still allow local bank transfer. Partypoker just banned malaysia last year

Legally speaking, you can't do anything. The Malaysian remote gambling laws are quite strict.

Of course, off the books, there are still sites like ACR/Chico network accepting crypto deposits, and agents for sites like GGpoker (although you can register and use crypto too) or PPPoker/Upoker (and other unregulated apps). The agents typically take a withdrawal and/or "exchange rate" commission to send the money to your account. I still have not seen a way that effectively circumvents the Pokerstars/Partypoker bans (except VPNs which are quite easy for them to discover).

This should not be surprising to anyone from a jurisdiction where online poker is illegal. Your best bet is almost always crypto or agents, but you are (and still will be) breaking the law.
