Greetings!
I'd like to be able to play poker online, with a couple of friends, in a private group, maybe sometimes with NPC bot players.
I've given up looking now, as there's SO MANY, and I still haven't found a good one, with 'play with friends' option.
Probably a swear word around here, but we want to play for fun, not real money

Any recommendations?

Play money usually does become boring after a while, as no one takes it at all seriously, so you could also have private tournaments with minimal amounts of money involved so that the winner/s can buy a bottle of wine or a curry for themselves to celebrate. If you really don't want any money at all involved on the table, maybe you could collect a pound from everyone and run a series of or monthly tournaments where the eventual winners receive nice little trophies? (I just did a quick Google search and found, for example, poker trophies for about £10 from https://www.trophystore.co.uk/trophies/card-trophies)
