So I deposit $250 to them... and then I get error 616 when I try to logon on to there site...They say I am blocked from the cake network even though I have only played at Bodog before...So they lock my account and steal my money

I would guess the "limits" are to prevent fraud, rather than protect a player from losing too much. It sounds like you can get them raised easily enough and it's only newer players who complain of being restricted by a limit.

Maybe the rep can confirm, as that I would understand, but would be concerned if it was some sort of protectionist method.

The limits are daily loss limits. I'm up to 2500 per day 10k per week and you have to call them each time to get the limit increased. The problem is that it isn't really a loss limit. Your limit is the max you can buy in for. I can't even play 2/4 because I can only open up 6 tables and once I rebuy for $100, I can no longer add chips to my tables. I was told that I was at the cap and that the poker room manager would have to increase it further. They said they would look at it and I would see an increase if I was eligible. That was 10 hours ago and I haven't seen anything yet.

I'm going to keep trying to get the limits increased, if not I am cashing out. The cashout limits keep dropping as well. Bank wires have gone from 8k to 3k to 2500 now to 2300 in the last 10 days and you can only do one per month. It just doesn't seem like a site for mid stakes players and above.

its not necessarily a 1-wire limit per month...theres just one *free* wire per month. it is unclear how many they can actually process.

I'm another new Intertops player who has been pleasantly surprised by the customer support. The software is also better than I expected. Now if only the windows weren't so damned hard to resize.

Are these daily loss limits just enforced bankroll protection? Ie, can I see them from my accounts screen, or do I have to contact support to find out my particulars?

Sent an email to their affiliate email and have yet to receive an answer. I wanted to be tagged to a certain affiliate (have yet to deposit/play/didn't sign with another affiliate). At first I got an email saying I was already tagged to an affiliate, then when I told them the affiliate code I wanted to be tagged to, they said it wasn't an active one. The last email I sent was a link to the affiliate (which they requested). Just hoping to be able to play and deposit soon, but waiting on tag to affiliate/rakeback.

If you have been tagged to an affiliate when signing up at Intertops we will never retag you to another affiliate. This is to ensure our affiliates that the players they refer always stay with them and are tagged to their account.
If you want to be tagged to a certain affiliate because you want rakeback etc then please tell us and we might be able to fix that for you with the affiliate you are tagged to.

Been trying to find out for a week through email/live support whether or not I am tagged to an affiliate and then just wondering if i have rakeback/first deposit bonus available. This is the kind of stuff I'm getting, and it's very frustrating.

You have to understand that the sites support personnel have names like Ebony, Prince, Jamal, Jarvell etc, + that to the Caribbean education system and equate any support related expectations you wish.

Deposit was smooth, .. debit card from bank with horses and wagons.

I couldn't get the bonus to work so email support 4 hours later, bonus is on my account and rakeback was checked as assigned.
