Hi can someone tell me the rake policy as it relates to withdrawing? I havent played on this site for 6 months or so. I forgot I had money here so i went to withdraw 2500 to neteller. After a week of waiting I get an email saying

Quote:
We wish to advise you that your Neteller withdrawal for USD2500 has been declined as you need to accumulate a Net Rake of $2410 before next withdrawal can be made. Missing $923 in Net Rake on Feb 12, 2015.
What does this even mean? Do I need 2410 in rake or 923?

Where am I supposed to get this rake? there are only 2 tables of 50c/1 and 1/2 going. The rest is bumhunting hu regs.

I have a lot of money in this account, is there any other option for me to get my money?

Is this site a big scam now? I thought it used to be great for withdraws.

TY for any helps.

I also got a message when I withdrew saying I had to pay $250 in MGR. The old policy used to be to just wager or bet the amount of $$ you deposit, but now they changed it to rake without telling anyone, kind of shady.

Yeah,

I requested a withdrawal a week ago... and it has not been processed yet... they used to process in 48 hours. I'm starting to get a little nervous.

Check withdrawls are usually processed within 48 hours and then 1 day express shipping. My most recent check took 4 businessdays to be processed. I know its still very quick but slightly alarming given the new rake requirements to withdrawl. Raking $2.3k to withdrawl $2.5k is simply abusrd and in no way justifies the transaction fee incurred by Intertops.

OK sir, you just continue to play 4 handed with regs and let Intertops rake you $4 per pot.

lol? so if you dislike $4 rake, why are you even playing here in the first place?

no offense, but you might be the biggest bumhunter @ nl100/nl200. you rarely sit with regs, and when you do, you snap quit when ever you stack one of them.

glad 'tops finally decided to do something to you guys.

lol? I am pretty comfortable playing any reg HU, you included. If you scroll back pages, you'll find my posts about offering to start tables and encouraging regs to play me instead of insta sitting out. I'll be pretty happy to play you HU if you cover the rake, you're one of the most profitable players to play against on this site, offense intended.

please dont make me embarrass you. i have session tabs where you don't even put in 100 hands a session.

If you play me so much, you know that most of my sessions are 45-60 minutes long. This may give the illusion that I just hit and run, but the truth is I sit out just as often when I am behind, it is just not as noticeable as I have auto-rebuy on. Besides, what point are you trying to make with sitting out? I have sessions where I put in 5 hands and leave, what's your point? You make more money when I am not at your table anyways..

Hi

We still have the same 10% of deposits rule.

http://www.intertops.eu/cms/en/rules...ok_payment.htm

3.10 ........ If a net-rake (rake minus bonuses) of 10% of the deposited amount has not been accumulated before requesting a payout, a deposit fee of 10% will apply.

In your case, another $923 in net rake would be needed to withdraw without any extra fees.

Kind regards,
The Intertops Poker Team

Darren on email says I need 2410 in rake. You said 923. Can you please help me understand which number it is and why?

Is there some way I can check to see my rake progress? How can I know when I've hit the appropriate amount?

FWIW, before the rep had posted, I understood Darren's email to be saying that you had originally needed to rake $2410, and now that number was at $923, so I think they're agreeing.

its sad Intertops has to come to forcing players to rake x amount before withdrawing.....I remember in 2012 and 2013 when the site was booming and withdraws were super quick - today its a barren ghost town where you're forced to play to withdraw.....The worst part is their lack of caring to improve their site. Back when Intertops split off of Lock, I spoke to Johannes via email about their MTT schedule and how they could revamp it. He asked for my opinions(I was a mid-high stakes reg on the site) and I offered a long list of ideas on how to slowly build up a client base. After that email I never heard from him nor Intertops again. I found it somewhat insulting and sad that this great site was headed down the drain and didn't have interest in my business nor anyone elses. Hopefully they turn things around eventually but I think things are too late.

The deposit:rake ratio requirement has always been there AFAIK, and is common on many sites. They're not "headed down the drain" they just don't put a priority on their poker business anymore. Their sportsbook has always been their profit center, and they've intentionally sidelined poker. It's sad because Tops was my favorite poker site post-BF and Lock meltdown, but it's their business to run how they see fit. At least they're an honest company and not lying or ripping people off, so I can't blame them even though I hate to see it.

By your logic, nobody who could play on Stars would ever play anywhere else???

When I could play on Stars and FT, I still had accounts at several other sites.

You mean like Poker Stars and many other sites that don't like losing money?

And FWIW, the rep said that's what he had to rake if he wanted to withdraw without fees, not just to withdraw.

IDK, I'm just as mystified by all the random usernames on these odd networks like 888 and iPoker, and I hear there are dozens more! It's all very spooky.

Random posts of people that don't use they, they're and their correctly always felt very spook to me as well. Especially if they have some really weird nickname.

My first withdrawl got declined a few week back and they never offered me the option to pay 10%. I talked to multiple support and also the poker manager, and no one mentioned at all about an option to pay 10%. And it was also scary that after my $900 P2P transfer, my whole $3,000 roll was stuck until I cleared the rake requirement. It would make more sense if they allowed me to withdrawl my original amount before the transfer, then only have the trasnferred amount be stuck.

Rakeback is paid daily, usually around midnight US Eastern time. The rakeback is only given in $10 increments. You can check it in your cashier tab> My Profile>VIP Status
