Yeah the time change thing works but that's not going to unpause the tournaments. They are canceling all the new tournaments. My guess is that everything will be canceled and everyone will get refunded like usual.

As usual? The status quo continues to drop...(software issue, not Intertops, although they choose to not move elsewhere like WPN).

I tried the time clock thing, it doesn't work on HU SNGs. Had a chip lead in the game and been paused about an hour. Fun times.

This isn't a "knock" against Itops in any way, but this is exactly why I don't mess around there alot; just like I don't hang out w/my kid sister's family to much. She's a sweet girl but married to a pos.

This is so not right, they finally cancelled the tournament...like 30 players left and I was in 11th and doing well. Wasted an hour and a half plus another hour plus waiting...how do you compensate me for that?

I hear ya man. I was in a 20+2 with 6 getting paid. 7 were left, im in 3rd and its cancelled. Thats not good.

would be really surprised if they didn't refund

this happens all the time. just the way of the road for US based online grinders.

For those of us who weren't aware of "standard network policy" Intertops support was very unhelpful. I asked twice on live chat if I should wait for it to unpause (hu sng running) or if I should close the client and expect a refund. I was only told to please be patient and blah blah blah with some cookie-cutter reply.

How difficult could it have been for them to simply state "There is no need to wait for it to unpause as everyone will be refunded." Easy Peasy. Would have been nice and I wouldn't have sat at my PC for over an hour.

To be fair, it's the only time I've ever been frustrated with Intertops and/or it's support (I know this is a network issue, not Intertops).

i would guess they're done given no intertops rep showing up and Kahn actually for once not having an answer to what's up. Been several hours now, so me...I'm guessing Cake finally effed Jen after Jen tried to eff them. Payback's a beech. Hope Itops, as well as the players, are okay, although I doubt it.
