@stlboy05 - I feel your pain. That's happened to me in the past. The thing is, the internet connection from our computer to the poker site's server takes many "hops" along the way. It travels through many different servers and routers. If one of those servers or routers goes down, we lose our connection. It may take some time before they come back up, or before the internet connection is rerouted. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do about it, as it only affects people's connections passing through that specific route.
Something of this nature actually happened this past Monday with the Juniper routers...

Additionally, if we knew the specific IP Address that we were connecting to on Intertops' servers, we could trace our connection path (and reveal any problems) using software like VisualRoute or PingPlotter.
