Jesus christ, I'm very sorry to hear

Lol yeah, anjing888 (the guy in my videos) is also a VIP user (you can see the VIP logo next to his username). I asked the IDN support, and VIP users are the top 50 guys who lead the rake race. Most of the guys I'm suspicious of are also VIP users. So maybe you will get special treatment when you become a VIP member lol (like the RNG will favor you).

Can you post the list of the top10 in the rakeraces? I'll recognize the two or three players I was suspicious of. anjing888 was one of them.

One scenario that kept happening before I quit was one guy playing somewhat reasonable and then every time I had a decent starting hand he would call any2 and stack me with the weirdest twopairs.

Another one against the same guy I think was that he would play super cally/passive and then every time I flopped air he'd just lead overbet.

The rakerace result is here:
http://new.lobbyint.pw/misc/leaderboard.php
You can also see the top 10 of the previous months.
Not all the VIP players here are super-users. I can recognize plenty of names of "confirmed humans".
Some players that I am suspicious of are S4R4GIH (never seen him lost), Memety, Rikik (the guy who played tight but then suddenly limp call UTG with 63o, flop came 662 and he stacked JJ from another human-player).
anjing888 is no longer on the rakerace of this month. I think they stopped using this account after this thread.

HHHH020 is the guy I spoke about in my last post. Is AAoutman bot?
05-18-2017 , 07:49 PM
I think the network is rigged, too much full houses etc.
2 out of 2 of personal friends who I know have played there say the same.

@ similar network a friend might have gotten superusered for some big bucks

Another nail in the coffin. Sounds like you're all a bunch of idiots. Mike Matusow's the truth! The real winners might just be all the "pros" like Polk, Dang bros, Galfond and my main man Negreanu, among others.

Lol thanks man

Just so you know, today IDN network (aka shen poker) just suddenly and unilaterally changed the exchange rate.

E.g. if yesterday you deposited 1800 VND (the currency in my country), you'll get 1000 chip. Today, those 1000 chips of yours worth only 1670 VND.

So, don't be surprised if tomorrow when you log in, your $1k account worths only $500.

LOL. Is this the first online poker site ever that uses this kind of tricks to steal from their players?
07-20-2017 , 05:25 AM
It sounds like what you're complaining about is that when you deposit and then cashout, you lose about 7.5%. That is definitely on the high side, but no, they're far from the only online poker site where you will lose money due to currency exchange - while I wouldn't quite call it standard, it certainly is not uncommon.

So while I don't have a horse in this race, I hardly think you losing ~7.5% on currency exchange is evidence that people should expect that their accounts could lose 50% of their value overnight, and your message would probably seem more credible with a little less hyperbole.
07-20-2017 , 06:10 AM
No it's different.

I've deposited and cashed out many times from this site before when I was still playing there. There is no fee, except bank transfer fee. That is a rare good thing from this site.

But today, many people wrote to me (I own a popular poker page in my country) to complain that, after the maintenance this morning, when they log in, they see that their account is reduced by almost 10% (the conversion rate was 0.55 before, now it's 0.6, so it's 9.1% decrease).

Basically on this site, we play using chips. When you deposit, you buy their chips, using their predefined conversion rate. Like $1 = 1 chip, 1.2 eur = 1 chip (or whatever). Then you play, win and lose chips, and when you cash out you get back your USD/EUR... using the same conversion rate.

But today they suddenly decide that, 1 chip = $0.9, = 1.1 eur, so all the chips you hold worth less. The players were not warned before about this change. If you have $10k in your account, now you lose $900.

I did use hyperbole when I talk about losing 50% of your account. But seeing how the site can unilaterally decide what conversion rate to use and do not inform the users in advance, what prevents them from saying 1 chip = $0.01 tomorrow? This is similar to the problem with every virtual currency (like OneCoin) which is not backed by any trustable entity.

Obviously I won't be able to cover this in depth in a simple thread but I'll outline the basics and then you can ask questions. The actual acot of meditation is simple. It's the questions that arise as you practise that you usually need help with.

What meditation isn't.

1. It isn't about concentrating your thoughts.
2. It isn't about focusing.
3. It isn't about thinking about one thing over and over again.

Meditation is the act of stilling your mind, of ceasing to think. Why do this? The mind is a perfect servent but a terrible master. For all of us, our minds are in control. We think constantly, all day. The same thoughts, going round and round. This causes us to remain buried in our own world, unable to see what is going on around us. Our mind wishes us to remain in this state, because it is what is known. Anything unknown for the mind is a threat and must be avoided. This will be your biggest challenge on the road to meditation.

Think of yourself as being caught in a tornado. To avoid being swept away the only thing you can hold onto is a flagpole.

The tornado is your mind with it's chaotic swirl of endless thoughts. The flagpole is your meditation that keeps you from being blown away.

Now how to meditate. I'll give you a simple one to start off with, although all meditation is simple in essence. (Anyone who would have you believe differently and ask you to pay a lot of money for an extended "course" is a charlatan.)

Breathing meditation.

Place yorself in a darkened room, sitting upright on a straight-backed chair with both feet resting firmly on the floor. Hands on your lap with the thumbs and index fingers touching.
Take several deep breaths using all of your lungs. Visualize your lungs as being shaped like a pear. When we breath we only use the very top part of the lung. I want you to use the whole thing. Start at the bottom and breath in with three deep breaths using the lower, middle and upper part of the lungs. Breathe out in the same controlled way. Do this ten times. Do not overdo this. Your body isn't used to it. Every week, add one extra breath.

Now you are ready to meditate. Relax yourself. Your flagpole is your normal breath. In and out. For you, that is all there is. Breathe in, breathe out. Almost immediately you will start thinking about something. How interesting this is, it's as interesting as that time I went to the art gallery with marty, what is marty doing these days, etc etc etc.
And at some point you will suddenly realise that all you are doing is thinking. This is the moment when you bring yourself back to your flagpole - your breathing. In and out. This will happen again and again.

Set an alarm clock for 20 minutes. This is more than enough time. After the first session you won't need to use the alarm clock. You will know when the 20 minutes are up.

Practice this once a day, twice if you want. I won't go into the benefits of meditation now, the post has been long enough. If you have any questions, post them here and I'll answer them for you. I normally post around this time.

Warning; Your mind does NOT want you to do this. It will seek out any method to stop you. Nobody has wrung your doorbell for 20 years? Well expect it to ring as soon as you start doing this. Make sure you have no possible distractions around you. The mind is devious. It is your greatest hurdle on this path.

My apologies for my assumptions. If it's exactly as you say...wow. Surprised we don't have anyone else posting about this - either not many 2+2ers on there, or they haven't noticed yet.

I hardly know where to start with this; so much wrong in such a short post.

I don't think confirmed means what you think it means. But if it is rigged, locking the thread would be pretty much the worst thing we could possibly do. And as for banning the rep - why? I think most people would prefer the possibility of having someone to communicate with, than not.
