Here's my story on how i cheated on Merge Gaming (Carbon Poker and Playersonly) and anyone can do it....

Let me start with saying, I only got caught because I wasn't trying to not get caught. The reason I decided to cheat was because i just wanted to exclude myself from Carbon and PLayeronly but they wouldn't let me. I tried to email support but I would get error messages or just no response. I decided I had enough of those sites because of the unusual patterns in play and more so because of the action flops and constant coolers. (I played 1/2 2/5 PLO regularly.)

I had noticed a long time ago that Carbon Poker and Playersonly are the exact same site, with the same software, and the same tables. I played on both sites but never at the same time. Since Merge was ignoring my self exclusion requests, I decided to try playing at the same tables with both accounts at the same time. To my surprise it worked. All I had to do was play one account on my computer, and the other on my phone (different IPs). I was playing micro limits plo and colluding with myself. Holdem is more difficult to collude but plo it was a huge advantage.

Keep in mind that both accounts are registered to my name, same address, and both sns were extremely similar. I figured if Merge didn't notice it, someone at the tables surely would report me. People in the chat box were asking if we were brothers.

Merge emailed me a couple days later asking me why i had two accounts at the same table. I responded with "because i was cheating". Im not sure if I was reported or if they noticed it. They actually got back to me within a couple of hours. shocking. no one ever gets a response from them in less then 24 hours. They just told me, since i admitted to cheating they had no choice but to close both accounts. I was certain they just wanted me to make up some sort of excuse so they wouldn't have to shut my accounts down.

Moral of the story, it would be easy for anyone to open an account on each site with different names, addresses, and play from different IPs and cheat. I'm sure I'm not the first to discover that those two sites are identical.

You went through the efforts of cheating and getting your accounts banned in a couple of days/ within hours after you told them you are cheating to potentially win a couple more cents an hour at micros? Anyone else can multi account and get banned too if they want?

Guessing you're thinking a couple levels above me. With some Fancy Play Syndrome involved. Cause if all I wanted to do was self-exclude, and the site wasn't allowing me, I've got this thing on my computer. It's called "Uninstall."

Well, you can find better forums to spread your unique, gifted insights on life. Perhaps you can go to an alcoholics anonymous forum and talk about how you finally got your local bar to ban you after you went in there and urinated on the other patrons while singing "Piss, Piss, Baby!" You may find your wisdom is better appreciated there. Give it a shot (pun intended, even if you did not get it).

Like pretty much every forum on the Internet, yes, there are some trolls. But what there are more of are regular, often good, posters that like to have some fun with really ridiculous posts. And while perhaps you didn't think so, that's what yours is.

When you suggest to everyone that it is easy to cheat on Carbon, and then your proof is an example where you cheated at microstakes for a little while and then got caught, what kind of reaction were you expecting?

Even if your belief of the technical side is perfect (likely is not), odds are you would be reported fairly quickly by other players and your collusive play would be easily seen when they looked over the hands.

Clearly you want to be considered a super villain for some reason, but it is not like you did anything that hasn't been tried many times by others in the past. Sites are all aware of the threat of collusion, and some handle it better than others. Welcome to the industry. As someone else said, all you had to do was uninstall the software to never play there again, so all your dramatics show that you must lack basic self discipline. Despite being a drama queen, you are boring.

Concerning of the site/skins in question to not take a self-exclusion request seriously. Only getting one side of the story here but, if true, this is pretty bad:

Interesting way to try to get yourself banned from the site/skins, if they did indeed not grant your SE request(s)
