There is a home games tab and you can create a club that they can all join and you just use play chips (have to buy some but you can get 500K for like 2.99) and then just use venmo to collect cash

I have been trying to get more people into my group and trying to get more players to come on here and post clubs - can't believe more people aren't doing this.

Everyone is like "Pokerrr 2" or "pokerbrosss" - apps are total garbage, and who the hell wants to play a tournament for 3-5 hours on their iphone? I honestly dont get how people are complaining about Pokerstars for homegames because it has to be on a desktop/laptop or whatever - please.

For a few years, prior to the Fristing I played micro stakes poker on several sites with 2+2ers from the Micro stakes and beginners forums. We were able (at that time) to create private games on Stars and a couple of other sites. It was great fun.

Does anyone here know if there is a play money site that enables that now? I am part of a club who has played live 3 evenings a week for several years. The Corona virus has broken up or game and we are looking for an alternative. Our players are from several different states and Canada. We number about 40 players.

yeah you can do it on poker stars.net. Tournaments are easy, cash games are trickier because there is a rake on the play money chips. If you want to just do a tournament - pokerstars dot net homegames

Was asking on Twitter for people's recommendations about software that lets you set up private games, but then realized that maybe someone had tried to do that on 2+2 already.

Has anyone seen a compilation of apps/software like that on here somewhere? Thanks if so.

Pokerstars homegames just recently took out the option of modifying the starting chips and it now ses 3k by default. happening to someone else? any solution?

It's been 48hrs of panic for us "Can't play online in country X, and I do not like the PPP / Poker Apps platforms" players who have been playing PokerStars online home games. Starting stack size was reduced to 3k (awful), but this has been fixed on Poker Stars, and all is great (right?).

Anyways, as the "PS fixed it" news came out, I was researching for other home game options, and I found World Poker Tour online has what looks to be a nice Plan B.

Ha. Unknown. But as you create the table, there's some groovy music playing like you're in an episode of CHiPS waiting for Ponch and John to show up any minute.

Further, it's a web & app based game so anybody can play.

+1 for PPPoker. We play friendly games with Zoom running. Set up a league for tournament series + a few cash games. Been good fun and easy enough if your bank transfers are easy to facilitate.

pokerrr2 is the best app imo, they dont charge much to run games its like 8$ per 8 hours and you can create and rake whatever you want

Anyone here ever use this site for a private game? I got setup on it but now can't change my password as appears to be no 'change password' or settings tab

UK based here - what options are there for online home games/custom tournaments outside of 888 (who just removed them in the new client) and Stars (not an option for half our players)?
