Hello everybody.
I'd like to share my story, my experience of dealing with highstakes.com. May be I'm not the only one who suffered.
I played pretty high there and made a list of btc deposits. It was aroud 30k euro when I decided to stop playing there (the amount of game I was interested in decreased)

The first 2 btc withdrawals dated 15 of April 0.954983 and 0.952456. It must have been 10000$, but I received only 9600$. We(me and my affiliate) were told that Highstakes uses Bitpay and difference is due to the conversion rates.
200$ were refunded.

After that, we asked to withdrawal the rest of money via skrill to avoid that "BTC conversion commission". As an exception, our request was agreed, and 10k cashout was processed. We were told that rest of money will be processed within 10 days.

18 days passed now, rest of money disappeared from player's account and no replies from Highstakes support or affiliate support to emails.

Have all the screenshots of both btc and skrill transactions.

If anyone knows something about owners, management how to contact them, please, let us know.

Apart from one of the poorest affiliate and player support services we ever experienced in the industry - this now looks really bad.

We know that one well-known affiliate site stands behind this room and hope they will influence on HS management or Tony personally to pay the player.

If this won't happen - this is as a scam and we are sending reports to regulator.

They have never payed affiliate commission too.

How do people even find this off brand rooms? Seems like the only time I hear about them is when they eventually screw players over lol.

Saw it on Joe Cheong's @subiime Twitter profile.

He reps the site.

Only one other post related to the site complaining about withdrawl time and exchange rate issues.

Support said I could PayPal deposit through an affiliate. I am leery.

Why is there so little on this site?

I also received an invitation to play on highstakes.com.
Is it a reliable platform?

Is it legal to play from Italy?

@stavopensando are you italian?

Thanks to all.

Hello all, I just wanted to come here and share my experience with one of the newer online poker sites Highstakes. (being promoted by Joseph Cheong and Luke Shwartz) I signed up aprox 1-1.5 years ago and made my first few deposits (Probably close to 1000 Euro. )

I played some cash games and tournaments without any luck, and eventually ran my deposits to empty. Over the duration of my poker play I raked a decent amount and was able to collect maybe 150 euros worth of their rakeback program aka Coins. You are able to use these coins in their online store to purchase Cash, tournament tickets, and physical merchandise, very similar to pokerstars store. I went ahead and spent about 80 Euros worth of my coins and ordered 2 items to be delivered to my home address sometime in the month of March this year. The order log stayed in pending status on my dashboard for about 5 months, during this time I contacted support several times inquiring about the shipment date, I received pretty generic responses saying things like shipping across the world can come with a delay, that they were temporarily out of stock of the item etc. I have been very patient and polite with the support regarding this every time I have spoken with them vial email or live chat inquiring about the status of the order.

Finally on Aug 16th I received an email saying my order was sent, and the status on my dashboard went from pending to approved. I received an email from Barry stating again that they were sorry for the delay, and that they had also thrown in something extra along with the two items I ordered to make up for the long waiting period. It is now a month later and the package/order has never arrived at my residence. I contacted Barry from support again, and am now receiving rude toned messages such as:

"Hi, Apologies for this. Sending physical items across the world can come with a delay. Do you want me to cancel the order or do you still want the items?"

"Hi, We do not offer tracking numbers nor does it state this on the orders.
Packages can go missing, packages can also be delayed. We will make sure you get your package asap. Thanks"

"Hi, This currently shows as pending which means it has not yet been shipped. I imagine it will be done within 7 working days. "

I have been told now several times that my order will be processed and sent today, it will be processed and sent within 7 working days, etc. And now have been told several times that there are delays, they are working on sending the order, basically a bunch of run around bulls***. One other thing that also left a bad taste in my mouth from this site is during the course of waiting over 6 months to receive my order, the rest of my rakeback aka "coins" expired or where taken back by highstakes due too inactivity. I would have been an active player on the platform if my rightfully earned and paid for order was sent to me in any kind of a reasonable time frame. For the record I also have 0 withdrawals from Highstakes, ideally you would think the kind of customer they would want to keep around.
I was not surprised to also find another thread on this forum from another player with another negative experience at Highstakes, it does not seem like customer service or customer retention is in their priority. Be wary.

Did a NETELLER cashout for about €200 a couple of months ago. Nothing happened. Contacted support several times and was told every time:
"We are currently experiencing issues with Neteller due to users GEO locations. We are trying to solve this as fast as possible."

Cancelled the cashout, tried again some days later and the cashout arrived after a couple of weeks.

Decided to never play there again and spent my loyalty points on a pair of slippers and some patches. The items actually arrived after about six weeks.

All in all, a subpar experience.

Avoid this side. They failed to give me MY money back several times.
1)I deposited with Visa 200EUR
2)They only withdrawel if you make 50EUR rake PER MONTH but
only inform you afterward this TOS!
3)Without multiple identity checks they also dont withdrawel(can also
be used as identity theft, they also tried to highjack my email several times)
4)My computer made a blue screen and they obviously also have the ability to
highjack your computer. You must login as administrator to play there!!!
5)After all the hoops i jumped through they FAILED to withddrawel with Visa,
said in my country its not allowed. But accepting was no problem, WTF?!
6)Next hoop last week they said i must deposit with bitcoin 50EUR(min deposit)
and they will withdrawel it - ok i did it to be able to withdrawel, that was 28 September
7)They apologized and promissed me a 20EUR tournament ticket which diondt arive
7)At the screen they said in max 3 business days they withdrawel,
again failed with BITCOIN(can be done in 1 min)
8)Now they threaten me to block my chat and said within 7 days they withdrawel
BITCOIN(5 days passed without action, just ignoring and threatening)
9)No promissed ticket also!!!
10)If you complain you will be doomswitched. They can drown you in quads
from their obvious shills - i lost while i did their absurd rake requirement surely 100EUR
to very very sick hands!!!

My view is:
THEY ARE THIEFS AND A COMPLETLY FRAUD
Because i am a winning player(despite their doomswitch9
they stole me 280EUR
NEVER EVER PLAY THERE!!!
Inform the cybersecurity in your country to block their IP
and let the cybercops track them to put the owner to jail

regards

Need help! How can i get back my money?
11)Now THEY canceled the Bitcoin transfer and
12)I got this email:
Your €281 Withdrawal has been Unsuccessful

Reason: We apologise - Please contact support with Skrill, Neteller or Ecopayz and withdrawal will be processed manually.
13) meanwhile the withdrawel is also closed and i must play again to open it:
You need to generate €18.48 more Poker Rake to be able to Withdraw.

Can someone please help me!
is there a affiliate or regulator to contact?
Thank you
regards

Hi

As described here,

https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...pport-1752669/

Highstakes.com generally make it
impossible to cashout with their minimum
Rake requitrement of 50EUR per month and
hopping from one payment processor to the next
with wanting to pay 50EUR upfromt in before cashout!

Can someone say a solution to this criminal behaviour?
Who is the regulator?
Where can be a complain made to have a solution to
this fraud?

Can someone help?

Thank you!

Hi
After 6 weeks of letting me jump through several hoops without describing the exact procedure from thr very beginning in the TOS, they finally did a MANUAL withdrawel. This side is a PAIN ITA - avoid this sick side and dont suffer!!!
Thanks and regards

I have a positive experience with the site. I mean i think prehaps the site is trying to focus on mainly the asian market and high stakes games in general so if that is ur target, players to play than it might be for you. The games were good for the most part and I cashed out, albeit a minor discrepancy, in the currency I wanted pretty quickly. Overall a positivist and fun time. esp 2-7 open face Chinese.

i also have positive experience, games are somewhat decent. Software is good but it lags PC a bit when i have other clients open for some reason.

I made a withdraw today and was hit to my skrill about 8 hours later.

Stay away. After I deposited and played they refused to let me withdraw because they asked for 50$ in rake which is definitely an abusive term. By the way, I've read their terms before and this 50$ rake is nowhere specified!
Should I also add that you don't really have what to play in order to make that 50$ rake?

Probably that's why you have a positive experience. Tell him to give the money to the players.

Hello,

I am posting this message to create awareness about this scamsite.

They advertised through weaktight(I recieved an email) so a website that inspires confidence. I decided to deposit some $, I played and no problem.

No problem until the cashout. They did not let me cash out unless I have 50k coins(rake 50$).
Looked through their T&C, nothing at all about it. You find out about this abusive term just when you're trying to withdraw, so after you deposit and play.
Ok, but looked in my account and I have 0 coins, even if I played some high buy-in tournaments.
Contacted them and guess what: the tournament rake is not currently working. So my money are blocked, I can't withdraw them

Should I say that most of their mtt's are canceled and you don't have where to rake?

Maybe you're wondering why I deposited? They had some nice guarantees on that Sunday. Of course they removed them all the next week and basically nothing to play.

Just want to confirm the post above:: I also looked through the MTT schedule - looked like ok and had been looking for a site that I could use crypto as I live in a country that frowns on online poker. I do also like the software, they use it at SWC and Betandbit - you dont get funny hands like at ACR

The first red flag was the $50 min deposit - and the fact that you have to deposit BEFORE verifying the account. But like an idiot, I carried on. Now at some stage I did a search, but must have read everything with rose-tinted glasses.

But have now verified the account.

Now if I want to withdraw, I have to earn $50 rake on my $50 deposit - and wait for it, in 30 days!!! Even if you could, there are not enough players there, comps are being canceled constantly/ no cash tables. Of course, you only find out about this AFTER depositing.

So the only thing to do, would be to take it to their casino.

Just a scam site - avoid.

One more thing.
I can not prove it, but this are my thoughts and I'm not a recreational player crying after a bad beat.
It seems that they have a few superusers. Wanting to withdraw because they don't rake your mtts, I started to play cash where there are 1 max 2 players. So yesterday played vs a very very bad player. I mean I didn't see a player like that in 2-3 years. He was just 4x 5x open, entered a cash table with 2k bbs. Nevermind the match finished even last night. Today morning opened the lobby, the whale was there waiting for an opponent.(Whales opening tables waiting for opponents!!!!!!!!!!!)
Entered, play, but hey, this was a very different player. A better one! Nevermind, took his stack.
Opened again the app 12 hours after the match, guess who was waiting again for an opponent . Our friend. Of course I didn't resist and seated him. Have you ever heard of J high hero calls?
Guys, just do not play there

I must however recognize that after I've made the rake at the cash tables the withdrawals through bitcoin were pretty fast. Still the rake made at the mtts was not taken into account.

Have a following problem at highstakes.com. My account has been frozen (at 11.may) after withdrawal request with no reason or explanation given and i get no response from customer service for more than two weeks. Account is verified and i have played rake required to withdraw.
At that moment i had about 200$ on my account with another 275$ pending for participating at 13 season online poker league. My nickname at the OPLwebsite is KatamaranUA and 15th place has been awarded to me and i expected conditioned award.

can you provide me any help or advise about this situation and possible resolution on returning my monies.

Well, i play on HS by something like 2 years, and before the new software implementation, on last december/january i had no problems.

After that, i'm having many problems to withdraw, declined requests without any explanation, sometimes they said that had no funds on determinated e-wallet and on april they declined 2 withdraw requests and when i tried to make another request the site ask me to generate 100€ in rake... I had not made any recent deposit.

So, i raked the 100€ and this week made a new withdraw request, again declined...
