Thanks

Rob, I was same boat....they dont need any credit card info. if you never deposited originally. They need that form filled out/signed (https://heropoker.playeradmin.com/email_back_form.html?type=0") and then a photo of your drivers license. After sending it in, I would PM the HeroCEO to let him know, and can probably get your stuff verified much quicker.

Dave,
Would you comment?

What is there to comment guys? We all knew all along that any of us from the USA would have issues playing online poker no matter where we go. Do I think they will get shut down? Maybe...... but I feel very confident with the steps Dave has made it should slow down the process considerably. I will continue to play on Hero until I am unable too. Until I see something in writing or actual action I am going to continue to play. It's not like QuadJacks got info from the DoJ or anything. It is a theory and nothing more! At worst it is yelling "FIRE" in a crowded movie theater. Why scare the remaining base?

This really comes down to an issue of whether they can get around the DOJ using the curent payment processing landscape. Sure, if they get sized they might get some funds frozen, but it is in the DOJ's interest to get the player funds back. They took enough heat already.

I would think this is likely for both Bodog and at least one Merge skin to continue to service US players but if they grow too much then it will become too difficult to pay out. Bodog has always been cavalier about servicing US players regardless. If they are seized I'm sure bodog.ag or .au or .eu or whatever will open with same services.

edit: Merge might have already grown too much.

Yes, of course we should know of the risk; but Dave should have better info than what is in that QJ link. Whether he can really comment is the question. However, I do feel the need to ask.

Hey guys, sorry I took the overnight flight from Macau to Korea and just touched now about a couple of hour ago and catching up now. So please give me about 10 hours to get back to this:
1. I want to look into QuadJacks a bit more just for background sake.
2. I will comment in depth based on an executives perspective, and obviously how I do see the environment and of course that in turn dictates how I manage and guide the company, but I happen to like Heropoker.com over that of Heropoker.eu and while maybe not a great stab at humour, it does represent my position on where Hero stands.

Cheers,
David

Very good, as usual.

Dave,
I regularly play the 20.90 St STT and there seems to be a bot at one of my tables called HanleyRamirez I am not sure if bots are legal on merge, but myself and one of the other regulars think there is no person playing. Can we also get more turbo tournaments on merge, or include 2X or 3X turbo tournaments like there was on PS.
Thanks for being the best CEO in the business btw

I think you can use boutique and skin interchangeably in this case - Dave can correct me if wrong.

Email my direct line of support about 'HanleyRamirez' so they will get back to me, and yes bots are banned and actually I have one account that was banned because of bot usage, but the bot actually was negative to players. lol.

And there are a lot of new tournament additions, as I've forwarded on a lot of things, but they need a bit of time to see how things are working now for a bit, so I'll update you when they do a major tournament revision/upgrade. And sincerely thanks.

Actually, it means basically we want to focus on service over growth in our approach and treat each player as though they are our actual VIP, so that basically means being able to contact with myself as the CEO or later with a representative that has a level of authority to fully resolve your issue on the spot. Another part of it is we're approach our business as if we were both a private swiss bank as well as a private swiss alps chalet, in terms of security and service, So we're quite far from that, but that is our goal.

Cheers,
David

responding to this after I listen to QuadJacks

Hey David,

Do you have any info you can share in advance of what is likely to change June 1st? Is the rake structure being fixed and if so how?

Also, I have to comment on what you just wrote about bots. Paraphrasing, you wrote, “you had one bot banned but was negative to players lol.” There is no “lol”. There is nothing funny about bots. The one thing many forget is that a bot is a work in progress and can be improved upon and mass disturbed. You seem like a nice guy, but when it comes to bots you had better take an ice cold mean as a son of a bitch attitude. Or in my opinion you are not holding up your end to provide a clean safe environment to play.

Hi, sorry still listening to quadjacks;

#1. my lol, was because the point of bot would be used to win, not to lose money and perhaps wrong to try to make light of it because it is that serious. But, I am dead serious about it, the player was banned, he hasn't responded, as soon as it was detected, security stepped in and sent him the Terms of Service and I was cc'ed on it, and that was it.

But I can promise you, if any player or bot were to try to game our system, to collude and take anything away from a safe and fair environment to play, I take it dead seriously. As soon as I found there were a small number of Chinese mainland players were colluding and even invading freerolls, I basically went through every single player and personally reviewed their play and proceed to ban 18 out of 20 players. And I do this periodically. If I found that there was a market which had a high majority of player trying to take any unfair advantage, I would seriously just ban the entire market than risk having any issues like to our players. But, point taken and when it comes to protecting our players, company and doing business, I'm most cold ice cold son of bitch out and would salt the earth with anything that tried to threaten that.

#2. Other than the VIP systems being upgraded and likely an additions online promotions, nothing drastic, just trying to improve things across the board. But the Limit structure should be revised across the board.

Hey Dave, I wanted to ask what is the best way for americans to make a deposit, I would like to make a deposit, but it keeps rejecting my deposits. Is Western Union safe to use? If so there is no option in the cashier to use it, so how should I go about making a deposit? Thanks again for making online poker respectable again. -kmuter

Really the only viable option is Western Union and if you do make the deposit that way I will credit you the $12 transaction fee as long as you let me know when you've done it, but this is basically the only deposit method we have a the moment as the other option click2pay no longer accepts new members. But WU has been safe to use; just send the money in USD and make sure all the information is correct and matches with your account.
Thanks for the message, but honestly, we are so far from that right now and even my tiny efforts, while I think good in terms of player communication, is still not significant for what really is going on in general, but again, thank you-I really can't accept that level of complement, but I'll take it to try harder in general.

I can't deposit as an American?!?

We are unable to accept players from your country at this time.

Thank you Dave, especially for the WU fee credit that is just great customer support. I would like to play all day today but I am not sure who to send the payment to with western union and I think if I email support I wont get a reply till the end of the day or tomorrow. Is there any chance I could get a pm with the information I need to use at western union? I would like to go as soon as I can. Even though things seem miserable for online poker now at least you are a glimmer of hope that someone is still on our side. best regards-kmuter

Go to the Cashier and initiate the deposit, you'll then receive the wiring instructions.

Cool, thanks I was not sure if the cash transfer was WU. I found the bonus code on the FAQ page, thanks again for all the help. -kmuter

Hi Dave, sorry to keep asking questions, I have one more please. I tried to use the deposit code and Deposit and it said this. "Unsuccessful
Your Cash Transfer deposit could not be submitted.
You are not eligible for the "100percent" deposit bonus"

Is this because I tried to deposit with visa and it was declined or because I won $1 from the step three sitngo? Is there any way for me to still get this bonus for my actual first deposit? Thanks in advance for any help. Sincerely kmuter

In your prior post you mentioned that you were going to deposit with WU.

The fact that your cc deposit was declined, may be unrelated to the fact that you won $ in a freeroll.

They're offering a first-time deposit bonus, so if you're making a first time deposit, I'm sure that Dave will take care of you.
