All players breakeven ? Curious. Most rigged theories usually involve not being able to win. Breaking even actually implies that you have to win sometimes.

At least your rigging theory actually makes the site money. Not agreeing with you though.

Yes, break even but lose to rake. It's a bit like Betfair, the sports betting exchange. All the prices are roughly correct, so everyone breaks even but lose to the 2 to 5 percent commission paid on each winning bet. How much rake do pokerstars charge?

Are you saying that your rigged theory has nothing to do with the RNG but rather with the fact that Stars is charging very high rake ?

The rake is between 3.5 and 5 percent, thats quite a lot. If u win a 100 dollar pot you only get paid 95. In an evenly matched player pool the only big winner would be pokerstars themselves.

Again, what does any of this have to do with the distribution of the cards?

Did you all know that "they" patrol the south pole with navy ships to prevent the common people from reaching the side of the earth plate?

Who would want to go to the South Pole? I was wondering if one person turned left out of LV and one turned right, to go to England, which one wouldn't be seen again?

Re: The great "Poker is rigged" debate - Collected threads edition

Because the earth is actually a disk with the north pole in the center and the south pole stretching out at the edge. And yes I understand that mathematically that makes no sense whatsoever but that doesn't matter. "They" have been trying to stop people from seeing the edge of the earth forever. The sun is actually a few thousand miles above the earth plane and it moves around to create the illusion of spin. That makes no sense with shadows and all but that's to keep the people from discovering the truth.

I already know that the earth is flat and that gravity is a myth and all the conspiracies about those things. I'm trying to uncover the conspiracies behind poker right now.

Trivia

Did you know that ZOOM poker was named after the sound an UFO makes when it goes from 1 KM/H to the speed of light in like 2 seconds ? Now, which stuff is more interestin' ?

Put it this way, if I was to reveal everything I know about the Illuminati on here then my body would be dissolved in a bath of acid. The British Royal Family are Reptialians and Trump is in on it too.

Re: The great "Poker is rigged" debate - Collected threads edition

I've been playing on WSOP.com for a little under a month now.

I've lost 20 buy ins, and had 3 winning sessions.

Has anyone else had an experience like this? I've played .5/$1, $1/$2, and $2.50/$5.00.

I'd like to share my experience with everyone on this board.

JD sounds like you are playing too high, perhaps should start at the microstakes and then if you can beat that then move up the stakes.

Even at the microstakes you get some quite good players who multi table and make regular profit. I imagine at 100nl there are some very good players.

Kemi, I'm losing in astounding manner. My big hands rarely, if ever hold up, and it continually happens, and they don't hold up against the same players, over, and over.

Anyways, so they try to send me a hand history. I say,

"No, What I want is my hand history, and my win/loss history against specific players. I also want to know how many times I've been drawn out on in hands where I've been ahead."

They refuse to provide me with either of those things, citing:

"We can not divulge other players information."

Maybe don't play at that site, pokerstars might be safer. I have good and bad runs on pokerstars. I played on party poker for a while, tripled my 10$ deposit then somehow managed to lose ten buy ins ($20) quite quickly. The last hand i played on there i got it all in pre flop with aces, called by kings and ace queen, kings won by hitting a set. Haven't played there since, pokerstars has got better software and more players.

Has anyone else had any experiences of this kind?

I had to have lost 80% of the hands I was initially ahead in.

The hands don't matter.

The players matter.

It's possible they are playing for the house and each hand you play against them is rigged for you to lose.
