Hi All,

GGPoker has confiscated my account balance of almost $150,000.

I’ve heard of this happening to others but assumed it was all exaggerated.

They accused me of being the same user as two other people.

A month ago, I joined GGPoker as “Omoshiroi Sekai” to play WSOP Ring series. My friends “slo-grinder99” and M0nkey D Luffy” introduced me to the site.

slo-grinder99 plays mostly cash games and M0nkey D Luffy plays a mix of everything.

Based on different formats and stakes we all play it would be nearly impossible for us to be one individual.

They refuse to contact me so that I can clear my name. It would be very easy to prove that we are all separate people, but they haven't contacted any of us.

Please advise.

Have they responded at all regarding why they think these are your accounts?

It is already suspect that these two are your friends. Did they ever play on your computer, or you on theirs?

1. Contact the license holder and make a complain here.
2. Then if that fails, you will need to find a lawyer and sue.

GG gives a warning, first. What did they say/claim? How did this whole thing progress? Also, how close do you live together? IP address might be the same.

I bet they are using Iovation/Iesnare. It's not just IP, it's device specific! There has to be more to this......

i dunno man there's been like a dozen other 2+2ers who said their account balances got confiscated because they had big money on there, not sure I would want to keep more than like $500 on that site

Thanks for responses, guys.

Regarding the cause for investigation in the first place, it must have been the creation of my account at friend's place a month ago.

We could never have the same IP address while playing, since I only ever played at home.

As for M0nkey D Luffy and slo-grinder99 they live in the same household, but play totally different games.

I think I should provide a little more detail to make it more clear.

slo-grinder99 is mostly a cash player playing 200nl with some occasional low stakes tournaments. His playing hours are on average 5am-5pm.

M0nkey D Luffy plays a mix of everything but played only tournaments during April and stopped playing May 5th.

I started playing 29th April and basically played through the entirety of May before they decided to block me.

The tournaments are usually running from 7pm-5am.

Any possible connection between me and M0nkey D Luffy in MTTs would have been during a 7-day overlap with a sample size less than 25 games, of which not all are the same tournaments and of those, usually you are not going to even be on the same table, which would mean our history is really small.

Now looking through game history... for an individual to play all 3 accounts such a person would need to put consistent 20h+ days of play.

I would just like a chance for them to properly investigate and contact me, so we can work things out.

Playing at a friend's house even once if he is multi-accounting can trigger problems.

The IP addresses will trigger an issue. If you ever used the same machine, they will know. The logs give IP address, country, game, device as a basic read. They could go further and find out if a device was shared, etc... If they are that certain, it sounds like that might have happened

Still seems odd, especially since one player is only cash. I'll see if I can get you a direct contact there to plead your case.

Did you win a tournament? For this type of money, the public needs to put pressure on GG to release some more information (doesn't have to be how they detect cheating, etc...) Have you tried reaching out to Daniel? If you are truly innocent, you need to call PFA radio and tell your side of the story.

This is discrimination they do not think it is possible for more than one Slovenian to have money.

AFAIK, GG is accepting everyone, even if you're from Australia (maybe even US). They just tell you to choose another country/flag. This is how they managed to build such a playerbase. Half of the players aren't from where the software says they are.

No and as of today, any transactions over $500 trigger their KYC verification. If the player gets slick, they will almost certainly be caught. GG has faults, like everyone, but they tend to be on top of the things they find important, like bumhunting, AI use, multi accounting, and obviously the AML/KYC. My guess is due to the upcoming WSOP

To answer some of your questions:

We are from Slovenia and our accounts were indeed verified by GG poker when we sent our documents.

They aren't acknowledging me.

We actually compared our game play record and we are clearly either playing all day and night for a month straight, or different people.

Why would they not just call us?

Since it is clear GG will not help you direct, I recommend contacting there gambling license holder.

Contacting the Curacao e-Gaming Licensing Authority is fairly simple, and unlike many other gaming regulators, they provide separate contact hubs dependant on your inquiry, ensuring your questions or queries get seen to in a timely manner. Their contact details can be found below:

Address: CIGA, E-Commerce Park, E-Zone Vredenburg, Curacao Netherlands Antilles
Phone: +5999 465 1134
Fax: +5999 465 1136
E-mail: compliance@curacao-egaming.com
E-mail for Complaints: complaints@curacao-egaming.com
Website: www.curacao-egaming.com

They will be able to investigate it and help you further, GGNetwork has to provide them with all details and both front and back end logs - Assuming what you are saying is true, they may not be able to release data to you, but they will be able to see the evidence GGNetwork believe they have and act accordingly.

Good luck, and be sure to keep everyone updated.

To give you an idea of how shady this is, Party once seized 50 accounts and the total was only 13K euros.

https://www.flushdraw.net/news/party...ount-seizures/

But we have multiple instances now of GG seizing single accounts worth of 100k.

And this guy doesn't even play cash?

Is it not more suspect that GG did not even include an interview as part of their investigation? There were 3 parties they could contact and they decided against talking to any of them.

How is it suspect to have poker players as friends?
