I have been playing on Winamax this year and found the software and everything to be good. I then got an email asking me to produce of video with proof of my identity by playing with a camera facing me for 1500 hands. I replied immediately stating that I only have a cell phone to complete this task and if I can do a shorter session than 1500 hands as that would take 3-4 hours. They did not reply to me and soon after blocked my account. I sent emails every few days for about a month all with no reply. I then decided to try sending an anonymous email to see if they would respond and they responded the same day. I replied to that email saying I am the player whose account they blocked. They replied to that stating they have reimbursed the players and my account is closed for not responding to their request. I sent them screen shots of my emails showing that I was willing to do what they asked but again no reply. I sent several other emails since then all of which has gone ignored, I even provided my phone number to resolve this privately but they are content to steal from their customers. At this point it doesn’t feel like there is anything I can do but at least I can make my story public so others can be careful not to be taken advantage of by them as well.

what are the legals on this? can they just confiscate your funds forever until they provide what they want or what?

I know in Italy they can hold for 6 months but after this period must return funds..so...
